I was told that it would be a 45 minute wait for an Americano. Does that mean every drive-thru order is taking 45 minutes? I don't see cars waiting 45 minutes. I had to order regular coffee. We stopped by in the mid-afternoon for some coffee. The place was filthy, trash cans overflowing and the tables had not been wiped down. We placed our order and was told it would take 15 minutes! There were five or six people working, so I'm not sure why they could not keep up with the demand. read more

I would give this Starbucks 0 if I could. Walked in and was quoted 30-45 mins for for anything except a hot coffee (that was already brewed). I can't imagine they are quoting the people breezing through the drive thru this amount of time. Immediately walked out and left. I've worked in the food industry before and to use this tactic to turn guests away is ridiculous. The manager should learn how to prioritize time management to serve guest that come inside and that go through the drive thru. I was served my customized drink by Katie when our world was having an all system down crisis(07/19/2024) She was superb and unflappable!!! My drink was creamy sugar free and delicious. In fact the service was so awesome I went back the next and ask her manager LaNiesha for the name of the awesome server with the purple and pink hair. read more

I'd avoid this location at busy times (eg, Saturdays for sure, and perhaps all days). The staff can't keep up with heavy drive-thru traffic, as well as the walk-in customers. There's a barista for each group and they really need a third station. Our wait for a simple cold brew mixed with cream was as long a wait as I've experienced at any Starbucks, ever. This isn't necessarily the fault of staff; it's a structural issue--much like the issue of busy Gloster Street outside, which doesn't empty on to I-22. I walked in and was greeted with a smile from a friendly employee. I ordered a small coffee and she gave it to me before I could even count my change. Now, how cool is that. You can't ask for better service from a Coffee shop such as this one. I highly recommend them. They have a drive thru. But, they also have outside seating if you prefer. This is Tupelo's newest Starbucks as it has 3 locations. Other features: They have free WiFi that requires no password. It's fast too and you can connect to it fast. read more

I usual don't leave reviews like this but this must be said. This has to be the absolute worst Starbucks in America! Closed 10 minutes early then gave me an attitude when I asked about it. They said, "well we were not busy so we closed." Horrible attitude. Then they just walked away from the window without another word. We waited 5-10 minutes for the barista to take our order. There was only a few people in the business and three cars in the outside line. After I stared for a while she acknowledged that she would be with us in a minute. Then went to chat with a departing employee. Interesting that this location's average rating is currently 3 1/2 stars. That is exactly what I would give it if halfsies were allowed. For whatever reason, this is probably the least busy Starbucks I have ever encountered, consequently the only Starbucks I can recall with only two employees working in the morning. Our lattes were made promptly, but it was awhile before the egg white bites were done, then awhile longer before the croissant was heated sufficiently. Coffee was good, and my wife swears by the egg white bites, so I am not really complaining about my two visits there. I will say, however, that if you really like coffee and fresh food/pastries and a cool vibe, and if you have the time, just drive on down N. Gloster a couple of miles and settle into Strange Brew Coffeehouse instead. read more

The good: friendly staff, clean restaurant, easy to find and close to the interstate. They also have a drive thru and a patio with about 5 tables. The bad: very loud music that echoes thru the modern concrete n wood environment. Very few electric outlets, only for two tables...both in use. And the worst...you got my drink wrong. Instead of no classic syrup in iced coffee, had an extra shot w splenda also. Good thing I was not in the drive thru, so had it remade. read more

Due to COVID, they only had drive-thru and call-in options. Due to this the drive thru was very full but I was still able to get my order in a short amount of time. The employee who took my order was very professional and hospitable and the workers seemed to be having a good time while they worked. Overall, I had a great experience! :) Also my iced caramel cloud macchiato was delicious! read more

Stopped at this location on our way back to Birmingham for some coffee. It's a little off the interstate but worth it for us, gas station coffee just won't cut it. The only thing good about this location was that my coffee order was made correctly and tasted delicious! When I went to the women's restroom I found the toilet to be dirty and no toilet paper. When I asked an associate for some toilet paper he said sure let me tell someone. I waited about 5 minutes and asked another associate. He then said yes let me get you some. I waited another 2 or 3 minutes and was finally able to use the restroom but they gave me an almost used roll of toilet paper. Thankfully I only had to pee but with a store full of customers, I'm shocked you wouldn't bring a full roll at least for backup. The snack station wasn't stocked either. Home of the argumentative barista -- when a customer asks for a "tiny splash" of half and half in his coffee drink don't pour an entire cup in and then expect the customer not to request a re-do. When he again asks for a "tiny splash" don't pour 3/4 of a cup in like a smart aleck and not expect the customer to again ask for a re-do. It doesn't matter if you pour it once, twice, thrice or 100 times, a tiny splash isn't a big pour. And the attitude and argumentativeness of the batista that "served" me made it so much worse. read more

Came to the same drive thru location 2 evenings in a row. Same cashier both nights. Apparently if she is in a good mood she is able to accommodate your order if it's not available but if she's not in a good mood then she's just like no. For example: night 1 I ordered Ultra Caramel Frappuccino she politely states they don't have the dark caramel and is that ok? I said yes that's fine. Night 2 I order the same thing she abruptly replies we don't have that and that's all she says until I ask if they can make a regular caramel frappucino. She doesn't offer a replacement or anything that someone with good customer service would do. They ended being "out" of 2 items that we were trying to order and she wasn't nice for any of the transaction. I'm thinking dang I guess it depends on who's working on what kind of service you receive and we pull around and it's the same bright red headed girl as it was the night before. Someone needs to tell her that she needs to leave her attitude at the door if she's having a bad day and not take it out on her customers. Thankfully there is another Starbucks in town that we will be visiting from now on. read more
