I stopped by Starbucks at the outlet mall recently and decided to try something new. I ordered the chocolate pistachio bread along with a caramel macchiato, and it turned out to be a really nice treat. The bread had a great flavor -- the chocolate and pistachio combination worked really well together. It wasn't overly sweet, just nicely balanced. They warmed it up before serving, which made a big difference. The outside was slightly crisp while the inside stayed soft and moist. Since it was pretty cold outside, having a warm piece of bread with a hot coffee felt especially comforting. My caramel macchiato was made perfectly. The espresso and caramel flavor blended really well with the milk, and it was exactly what I needed on a chilly day. It paired really nicely with the bread. The store itself was very clean and well kept, even though it's located in a busy outlet mall. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick even with people coming in and out. They made sure the bread was warmed up and the order was just right. I had their Iced White Chocolate Mocha with vanilla foam and a pump of vanilla and it was pretty good! The drink was refreshing and sweet. It definitely helped me wake up more. The service was good. The server was very nice and helpful and the drink didn't take long to make. The ambiance is a typical Starbucks shop. The place was clean and organized. This is a great location for a Starbucks in the mall. It's right in the middle and next to the food court. The line was full and it moved quickly. Lots of seating available with barstool area too. It's definitely a grab and go spot with minimal lingering. A few tables but definitely grab some coffee and continue shopping. They always have a lot of customers when a lot of people are shopping in the outlet, so prep to line up! But they process fairly quickly. Today we came in for buy a grande drink and get a small hot chocolate for free! As expected, the drinks were delicious. Staffs were also friendly and attentive. They also offered iced water and no-ice water for you to pour yourself. Ambience is normal Starbucks for you to come in to grab a drink quickly and then out for shopping! read more

Visiting from California, and I have to say, Washington state Starbucks stuff are so much friendlier, and the specialty coffees taste better. Granted this Starbucks is busy, so the staff is pretty matter of fact, but still friendly and polite. Ordered my usual, and it was tastier than my coffee order from CA Starbucks. "Limited Ice" Apparently this starbucks is limited on ice and does not sell iced waters. There is a self serve ice water dispenser that dispenses warm water. They aren't even short staffed, but the lines are long and the seating area is super dirty. They seem all just seem poorly trained. read more

This Starbucks is a cozy little location right in the center of the Seattle Premium Outlets - a good getaway from the bustle. Very smart of them to put a Starbucks inside SPO. Curiously enough, they're actually open BEFORE SPO is. Which means that if you get here too early by accident as we did, there is now a place to hang out without freezing your butt off. Parking is available all over the SPO parking lot. Outdoor seating is available in the form of a bench in front of the store. They sell Seattle-branded souvenirs here, but we all know this isn't quite in Seattle. That's okay though, as your friends from out of town probably won't know any better. Their coffee is decent, and consistent. read more

Located adjacent to the food court, Its 1 of 2 Starbucks located in the middle of the Outlet mall. There's not much seating inside (about 5 chairs), and they're not the fastest crew. If you're thirsty, there's a food court next door. If you really want your Starbucks, its this one or the one about 1 minute walk away. read more

I am a fan of Starbucks. And because this if a franchise, this is super hard to comment on how to drinks are. I have ordered many times here and they have never screwed up. Drinks are good. staff are friendly. this place is super busy because its in the outlet so there are lots of traffic. There are lots of seats here so you won't have trouble finding a table. This is one very busy Starbucks, it always has a line, every single time I have seen it , the place is busy! Perhaps this is because the food court seriously lacks any good options, or maybe it is because people want to spend money at Starbucks. The staff is friendly and very clearly has an efficent plan to keep lines moving. The prices are the same as any other location, and they seem to have a good amount of snacks and lunch boxes available at all times. One thing though I have noticed here is the barista really need to engage more with guests. Starbucks is most convenience franchised coffee shop in North America. I usually come down to premium outlet 1-2 times a year. After long driving (2-3 hours), Starbucks really can help and wake me up. They're always busy and line up on weekends. The staffs are efficiency and friendly. Absolutely horrendous. Unsanitary. Unorganized. Sloppy. Team looks absolutely miserable and are all over the place. Zero management presence. One guy dilly dallying in the seating area- supposedly 'cleaning' while the barista is trying to switch between ringing up one drink/making it while there is a long line forming. Not washing hands after handling money, touched his hair a bunch...absolutely disgusting. I can't believe these people are left dangling without leadership and coaching. They could be pumping out drinks at an incredible pace to double the business seen at university village locations combined...seriously. Need to get it together! This is easily the busiest Starbucks I have ever encountered. I see a long lineup snaking around the whole store as I enter. Being the only Bucks in the outlet mall, I didn't have much choice. I made a quick count and there were 37 customers ahead of me. There were 6 staff members with one just going down the line taking orders. To my surprise, the line was moving pretty quickly. By the time I paid, my frap was pretty much done. Very friendly and efficient staff, it took exactly 12 minutes to get my caffeine fix. That's how you move a Starbucks line, kudos to the staff. A perfect Starbucks. This one gets crowded because it's right in the heart of the outlet mall, but the line moves fast and the baristas are some of the nicest I've ever encountered. I came to this Starbucks twice in one day. The first time the line was at least 35 people deep. I guess everyone needed to get their caffeine on. I needed to make a "rest stop" so I couldn't wait that long in line. I came back about 2 hours later and there were only 3 people ahead of me in line. Everyone that worked here was uber friendly and fast, fast service. I guess they have to since they get so darn busy. There's used to be more tables and chairs inside the store. However, there's only a few left inside the nook by the windows. There's usually a long line here. They opened an outdoor stand by the front door that sells selected drinks. It's prob. a temporarily stand for the holiday shopping crowds. I gotta say, this place is really going down hill. I used to come here for the atmosphere but I am now looking at changing. Coffee has not been consistent, muffin was dry,lobby is noisy and it has lost it's eclectic feel. Staff is loud and obnoxious and the barista working the machine has hiccups. Not mild or not trying to cover then up...but loud intentional, look at me hiccups. Almost sounds like beltching. Has not tried anything to alleviate them. Honestly this has to be the worst experience I've had in a Starbucks to date, and that's saying something because I drink entirely too much coffee from there. The attitude I received for politely asking them to fix my drink order was unreal, then she had to remake it a 3rd time because I would not except the drink she gave me that was rinsed with the push sprayer they clean out their dirty dishes with!? After rolling her eyes and telling me "they don't like to be wasteful" she slid the drink to me with disgust as though I should be thankful to drink a coffee that's been made in a cup that's gone through their old milk and dirty dish pump?? I understand it's pointless to review a Starbucks on Yelp because they are such a huge brand it won't matter - but hopefully maybe I can help prevent food poisoning by rebelling my experience. Nice barista, but I realized my non coffee drink was spiked with coffee after I left the mall area. Completely bummed too because I know this drink is made without coffee unless specified, but for whatever reason they put decaf coffee in my drink. $4.50 wasted. Very bummed. I went over there on my lunch to grab a snack and a coffee to get me through the rest of my shift. I almost NEVER have issues with them, but the guy today (tallish, tanned skin, dark hair) completely ignored me to talk to his friends. I didn't get a thank you or have a nice day. Just my drink and straw plopped down. This REALLY bothered me as someone who works retail. I let it go. Until I tasted my coffee. . He clearly didnt even try. I've never had a drink that bad. So now I'm REALLY pissed. I decided to write to them and tell them about my service from him. I didn't do this for free coffee. 2stars for good food and drink. However the employees were slow and rude. Several real wrong orders just while waiting for our own order. The cream was empty and after an " eye role" and several min. Cream was delivered. When asked for ice water they said no but there was a container in the corner I could get my own. They have 4 people making and taking orders. Two were making after work plans and not paying attention to the customers. Although the store is busy I've been to SB ALL OVER THE WORLD. and busy hasn't had any affect on great customer service. This store is not SB QUALITY. And I wish I was a secret shopper to help improve to the standards up to that of all other SB stores. The pre package food was good. Per SB standard. However. I have had better service at Mc Donald's. I would not return. The frapp my friend got was poorly blended and was full of just ice on the bottom. They did replace it but not in a friendly manner. Longest wait for my latte in the 14 years I've been a Starbucks customer. My drink was written incorrectly and thus made incorrectly. When I shared this information with the overwhelmed barista, she said, "oh" and kept on making drinks. I got in line again and explained to the cashier what happened and she wrote the correct drink order on another cup, but put it at the very end of the line. I was not offered a free drink or an apology for the mistake and added delay. I will not return to this Starbucks. read more
