Stopped by this Starbucks drive thru to get a few drinks before my kid's medical appointment. The line was short which was nice and it moved quickly. My 2 biggest reasons for the lower rating are lack of customer service and my order was wrong. Barista was not friendly, barely acknowledged us and then got the order wrong. 10/2018 update: Here we are 8 months later and we were headed to the beach and decided what the heck, it's easier than having to get off the freeway somewhere else. We had a simple order of an egg bites and a breakfast sandwich. Technically finger foods. Not only was the poor girl at the drive thru window seemingly overwhelmed by two cars but we got no napkins. It's unfortunate but it doesn't seem that much has changed. 2/2018: I used to drive by here occasionally on weekdays and always had the best service (Katie is an AMAZING gem, and never fails to brighten my day!!) and good, dependable drinks. We recently moved back to this area and have been coming here most Saturday's for the past few months. The weekend employees might be surprised to hear how bad their service is because they never engage with customers. It's clear from their demeanor that working at Starbucks is for them, a status symbol and a game they ply, but by all means don't ask them to invest in actual service or customer engagement. They know my order they know my name and there is one woman there that goes above and beyond to make sure that she brightens my day! First of all I will say, my drink order (and it was a complex order) was correct so I truly appreciate that. I was picking up a large order for a company and had tried ordering online a couple times but was having issues. When I called the store to see if I could order ahead they said no. They couldn't help me with the online ordering service either. At this point I was pretty frustrated because I had tried a couple times and they refused to take my order over the phone because "you're suppose to order online." The soon to find out "manager" suggested to close out and try again. I explained to her I did and she still didn't want to help me. At that point I asked for a manager, she was the current manager on duty but said I could call back tomorrow to speak with her supervisor. Cool, thanks. That still doesn't solve any of the issues I'm having. I basically had to beg her to take my order which is obviously not the service you expect at Starbucks. I love coming into this Starbucks on my lunch break! They're sweet, open to any questions, fast and have great quality drinks! The manager with blonde hair was able to help me order and knew/had an answer to all of my questions I had! If you're DF like me (or any restrictions) I recommend getting the app and becoming a rewards member. Not only will you get free drinks with time but you'll also be able to look more in depth of the ingredients to see what's safe for you! My favorite breakfast item is the Impossible sandwich! I just take out the cheese and it's so great and vegetarian! I really recommend stopping by. They even have a nice cafe great for studying! read more

Friendly employees, awful location. The parking lot can't hold the endless stream of cars so customers end up extending the line into the street, blocking traffic. Should you dare to brave the drive thru, the parking lot is a circus between people pulling in behind you and people that are leaving weaving around the line. I've frequented this location daily, on several occasions multiple times a day (office coffee runs) for the last three years. It's close to my house and on the way to my work, so I initially looked past the poor design. I have been twice now...so glad to have a drive-thru close to me. 1st time was a Saturday morning 2 weeks ago...Maria made me the BEST Chai Frap I have EVER had! 5 stars for her :) Stopped in on my way to work on Tuesday 8/25 at about 8:15pm. I wasn't sure if they were open but all the lights were on and the drive-thru menus were lit up etc. I sat at the drive-thru menu for about 3 min and got not response so I drove to the window. The 2 employees looked at me and then laughed. I honked...got another laugh from the chuckle twins...one of them (I'll call you man-bun) went over and turned off some lights. I guess that was supposed to be my hint. So had to go to another Starbucks and go in. I think a simple "sorry, we're closed" said while I was waiting would have been just fine. Update: It's been awhile since I've posted my last review and nothing has changed, if anything this location has gotten worse. They constantly screw orders up, mostly because they're too busy talking and laughing with each other, but when you point it out, they, more specifically Katie, have the nerve to say it's correct when it clearly isn't. You can see them talking and giggling while you order and then half the time they barely hear it because they aren't paying attention. They also barely talk to you at the window because their backs are turned and talking to each other. There are a few that are outstanding people there like Tj, Max, Lydia, Mimi, and one other blonde girl, but other then that nope. I've had my drinks made wrong, my friend has had her drinks made wrong, and my sister, which is the most worrisome, has had her decaf drinks made with regular coffee, which she can't have it, causing her to have caffeine poisoning. This Starbucks seems to rush through the drinks without reading the labels and it's a lawsuit waiting to happen with someone who has a serious issue. read more

This location sucks. Selfish POS's that go through the drive thru will block you into your parking spot and the people behind them will move on forward and won't let you out either. Traffic backs up into the street because the parking lot and drive thru are too small. And the eggnog latte they made tasted like sugar water with a hint of eggnog. The holiday season can be stressful, but the barista at this Starbucks made mine a little bit easier. After a morning of last minute online Christmas shopping, my daughter and I left to get a latte and a hot chocolate. We ordered at the drivethru and after pulling forward I realized I had left my wallet on the couch where I had been shopping earlier!! Half a meltdown and a few minutes later we pulled up to the window and I told her my predicament. She told me "not to worry about it and these things happen!" and handed us our order. Visited on Sunday the 27th at 9 AM and received a cold bacon Gouda sandwich. It was not even lukewarm inside it was cold. Was headed for an appointment so I didn't have time to take it back or I would have. This also happened at the exact same location a few weeks back. I don't know if their microwave is bad or if they are rushed (really didn't seem that busy) but they need to get their act together. Those prices are too high to be serving bad food. Disappointed by this location my drinks are rarely done well, and even though I've been there multiple times a week for months and months and am very friendly not one person has tried to make a connection with me. I really love creating a friendship with my baristas, bring Christmas presents and so forth but the folks here don't seem to notice or care for my efforts... Never had this happen in the 15years I've been a Starbucks customer. What pushed me over the edge to say something today is I was the only person there and sat at the drive through window for 3 minutes they didn't even open the window, I got overcharged for my drink, it was way beyond the amount of ice it is suppose to have, and of course my cup is leaking all over my car. I was absolutely thrilled when Starbucks opened a drive thru shop right on my way to work. Of course when they started out it was a little rough but all new places and employees have to get into a swing of things. I am not a morning person by any means, hence the coffee stop but twice now I have been through the drive thru and a very tall gentleman with a big red beard has made my day! He takes the time to get know me, ask me about my day and where I'm heading for my job. The service at this location is beyond poor. Many times my mobile order was incorrect or wasn't even noticed. Very frustrating when you're in a hurry to get to work and the app says your order will be ready at a certain time. However, when you arrive they haven't checked to see if they even have mobile orders and your wait time doubles. This completely negates the benefit of ordering online. Sadly this has happened to me several times. Additionally the baristas are very rude. Based on the way they act, making coffee is their only job and providing good customer service isn't in their job description. Less than mediocre coffee isn't worth enduring this type of experience. This location has completely turned me off of Starbucks entirely. I'll spend my money at a local quality coffee shop. read more

Today is the grand opening of this new Starbucks location and we're so excited to have them back in the neighborhood! I was in a bit of a hurry on my lunch break so I was happy to see only one person in line ahead of me. Their registers weren't working properly and it took a while to get the person in front of me rang up. The barista working the bar saw me waiting and got my drink ready while I was waiting. When it came time to ring me up the register was again acting up and wouldn't take my Starbucks card or credit card. Rather than fussing over it the manager comped my coffee and salad. This was not expected at all, I completely understand working through the glitches when first opening. It was definitely a welcome surprise and I appreciate the gesture. I have been to this location multiple times and they are very inconsistent with getting the order correct. I use mobile order and most of the time my coffee is ready when I arrive and is done correctly but today my coffee was completely messed up but the label on my cup with correct so apparently somebody didn't read the label. I stopped ordering food at this locations because either my food isn't ready with my coffee because they forgot to make it or have given it away to somebody else. When I do get my food order the last two times it has been completely wrong which I don't discover until after I have driven away and don't have the time to go back. Not the friendliest service this morning from a girl named Kat. I was using the app for the *first time* and was using a birthday drink coupon before it expired. It didn't work at first because apparently you have to mention it to them beforehand--she rudely explained that and, to make the service even worse, didn't even greet me hello or goodbye. She asked for my money and gave me my drink while I still communicated to her with, I don't know, manners! Really don't understand the logic at this location. They start every interaction off asking what food they can get started for you. Two mornings in a row, they were out of one of their most common breakfast sandwiches. Why would you continue to ask about food when your primary product is coffee and you don't even have a full stock? Worst drive thru ever. The set up is terrible and they can't get your order correct for the life of them. Messed up on my order and asked me to park and wait. I was in a hurry and said for how long - just a min or two I promise she says. No apology. No nothing. I waited nearly FIVE min for the worker to bring me my correct item.
