This location is ALWAYS BUSY so I do say be patient and please be nice to the workers there, they always do their best and I've been going here for years and can say, yes I've had drink come out wrong before but they fix them for me but it's only happened a few times. Parking is very limited and also getting to the drive through can be a hassle but I try to just get my order on the app or not at all since I know how busy this location can be . read more

Anyone else sick of the lame excuse that they are short staffed so they had to close the cafe? Drive thru line is 20 Cars deep and not moving! I ordered ahead and now get to wait god only knows how long to get a drink I already paid for... we were at this store yesterday and it was disgusting! Like it has never been cleaned... It's amazing how rude the employees at this location are family went in drive thru to get a few drinks for kids while we were in line waiting for 2-3 minutes already the girl came out to put out sign that says no orders after 7 pm ( mind you I pulled up to speaker at 658) was told they re not taking orders after being in line at this point for over 5 minutes to get to speaker, the same girl that out the sign out told us come back tommorow , we waited in line for 17 minutes all in all to talk to manager for her to tell us nope she can't serve us it's after 7 ... The manager was out getting flowers behind the store while we were waiting in line before 7 pm wth ... I won't be visiting that location ever again read more

Honestly, this location needs a lot of work for its drive thru processing. The wait is atrocious and at a certain point the employees come out to tell you that if you don't make it to the speaker box by closing they won't serve you; even if you've been in line for 30 minutes. I suggested feedback to the employee who came out to advise the line would close regardless of the time I and other cars had been sitting in who took it offensively and walked away. My suggestion was at a certain point at the near end of the shift there should be a sign that goes by or in the drive thru that says no orders at or after xyz to advise. There are NO signs out in the drive thru to advise closing times at all. Absolutely disappointing especially when it's no fault of your own for the slowness of the employees. If there's any service time measurements on how quick drinks need to go out, I severely doubt this location meets its goals. The only pleasant employee I had an interaction with was Frank at the window. He was polite and friendly. My drinks were made to order properly despite the 30+ minute wait in the drive thru (once you're in the drive they you really can't leave after a certain point). Honestly would advise to avoid this location, either go to the location on Outer Drive, Michigan Ave, or Dix rd in Lincoln Park. read more

Ordered a medium coffee, one mile down the road took a drink and discovered it was cold. Not going back to return it, already on the highway. When I got to my destination I heated it up, drank it and then discovered the bottom of the cup was covered in coffee grounds. I saw at least eight employees working behind the counter at 8:00 in the morning and only one person is making all of the drinks for both the app orders and for people who order inside. There were four people (including me) inside the place and it took 25 minutes for me to get my latte. By the time I got my drink, my breakfast sandwich was ice cold. Super frustrating. read more

I don't think I've ever gone to this location and not had issues with my drink. The drive thru is extremely slow but my biggest complaint is - they aren't friendly and they don't care if you're a happy customer. From simple things like whip cream on drinks I asked for without to no base in bitter melty Frappuccino's, I can handle the mistakes but I cannot handle when you have to argue for a remake or they scoff at you because you want your $6 drink how you ordered it. I'm currenely drinking my iced pumpkin spice I asked for without whip. It has whip cream and tastes gross. If you can go to a different location I would suggest doing so. Update - visited this Starbucks today, they once again made my drink wrong and when asked politely to correct it they argued with me about what I wanted, the price and what normally goes into the drink. They said the coconut mocha macchiato comes with pumps of mocha syrup in the bottom and that is incorrect! It comes with pumps of whites chocolate mocha in the bottom and is topped with mocha drizzle. Pretty sad when I know more about how drinks are made then the staff. But overall, again, my biggest complaint is how they argued with me about my drink vs just making me what I wanted and having good customer service. Hopefully they get some additional product training and experience with how to right their wrongs from management soon. read more

Always has long lines. Even if you put in a mobile order, it's never done in time. I waited over an hour last weekend to get my food/drink before I had to leave. Only received a $10 refund on a $22 order. Called, emailed, and tried to use the chat, but nobody did anything for me. So disappointed. Will not be back. read more

Mobile online is always available but once you get to the location the front doors are locked and they make you go through the drive-thru and wait behind 10-15 cars. I called in today at 5:43 am to see if they had their chai sauce since they've been out this week. I spoke with a gentleman and explained I wanted a iced pumpkin cream chai latte, he said that they had it now BUT they were short staffed due to "sickness" and the were opening until "later" I asked what time. He said 6:15 am. So I got there at 6:20, drive thru was blocked that said "drive thru down" so I parked and went in. There was one girl and the gentleman working inside. The girl told me they are only doing mobile order because they can't access their computers... then how do they get the mobile orders? And why didn't the gentleman inform me of this on the phone? And I tried to ored my iced pumpkin cream chai tea latte but in the app it was marked as sold out, just like every pumpkin drink. Very disappointed in this location. read more

Staff was fabulous as usual, they get you in and out fast! This was the first time I got a breakfast sandwich, was a little skeptical in purchasing a non dessert type food item. Placed a mobile order to grab coffee and the line is wrapping around the building. They locked their doors so it's sit in line for 20 minutes or get a refund! Then ordered a different drink and they made it horribly, quick/sloppy and didn't pay attention to how much they were putting in it. The staff here is fantastic! They're all so nice and helpful. If you don't know what you want they will give you the best suggestions. If you saw something on the secret menu all you have to do is show the staff how to make it and they'll make it if they don't know how to already. You wont be sitting around waiting for your coffee for long, they're pretty quick. This is a great place to just relax. I usually come here to do my homework or just hang out and talk with friends. The music they play is relaxing and typical coffee drinking kind of music. They food here is fantastic as well as the drinks. I've had almost everything here and NOTHING disappointed me. Typical Starbucks. All staff had masks on but a few had them below their noses. If they were 100% compliant for new coronavirus safety protocols, I'd up to a 4-star. I get a Strawberry Açaí with lemonade, little to no ice and none of the scooped strawberries. I work at the starbucks on Allen, but I typically come to this one Bc it's a little closer. So I know a strawberry açaí with my alterations is literally 2 ingredients. Strawberry açaí base and their lemonade. I don't understand how they manage to mess it up every single time. It's either way too much lemonade that it's undrinkable and sour or extremely watered down? I don't understand how they mess up a 2 step process. And that's my ted talk. Slow and a bit rude. Driving through the area for work and stopped to get drink. Even though it wasn't busy the service was super slow. I also had a voucher for a free drink I had gotten about a month ago from a Target Starbucks. The what I assume was the manager proceeded to tell us that Starbucks had stopped giving those vouchers out 6 months ago (false) and kept asking when we got it and where we got it. After I explained she acted as if she didn't believe me and gave push back. Her associate honored it but she rolled her eyes and walked into the back. Weird behavior for a Starbucks. read more

After a dentist appointment, I popped in here to grab a ice cold passion tea and a feta wrap. It seemed to take a little bit of time to order and get the food.. but the people were friendly. When I got my wrap, almost all of the insides were in the bag as opposed to in the wrap, so I was a little disappointed. The place seemed a little bit dirty.... As far as Sbux go, pretty standard. Decent seating areas, attentive staff and while they may not remember your favorite drink, they do recognize their regulars. They are often out of bakery stuffs later in the afternoon, which is when I tend to go, so that's annoying.
