I hope this is not a fluke or anything but I had a great experience at this location. It must be a dead zone or something though because I could not get service or reception at all and my app wouldn't load, which meant my account and card could not load. Which meant I was super sad to not be able to get my triple stars that day had the barista felt bad for me and just made me my small pink drink for free. What humanity! This is my go-to Starbucks in the way to work and I've had nothing but positive experiences. I'm an early bird, so I'm there around 6am during the week, so there are never any parking limitations or lines. I almost always order ahead on the Starbucks app. Drinks are always made with quality and taste delicious! Watch out: parking is somewhat precarious and the drive through line gets very long and backed up during peak morning rush, so beware when you are navigating to the store. I recently had a very poor experience at the Solon Starbucks where I frequently visit. The new assistant manager, Kristen is consistently rude and abrupt with the customers. Not only is she unprofessional with patrons (myself), she's also demeaning to the hard working staff in front of customers. Her snarky/snappy like attitude and behavior was unwarranted, and I will no longer be visiting the site nor bringing my company's business to this Starbucks location. TO THE UPPER and MIDDLE MANAGEMENT: If you continue to treat patrons poorly, and mishandle and conduct inappropriate relations with staff that have proven to be both courteous and shown outstanding dedication, then you are doing a disservice to both the paying customers and the employees. I suggest rehiring a more qualified individual in your management team, and awarding those for outstanding service. read more

Ahhhhh another Starbucks to review. I always get the warm tingles inside when I can give a review of a new location. Coffee just does that to me. What can I say? When the GPS directed me here, I was kinda confused. The last time I had been to this area, the only Starbucks was inside the GE Market District. When Samantha (my GPS voice) told me to turn into this plaza, I got sorta giddy! Tucked off behind some construction and in a corner suite is this cute little Starbucks. When I say little, I mean little. It is definitely one of the smaller locations I have been to. Seating for about 30 maxed out and a smaller retail area as well. I love the interior decor of this location! The lights in here absolutely​ ROCK! The wood on the walls and the layout is pretty nice too. They have a small patio and even a drive through....although I am still confused as to where to enter the drive through? But, that is ok...I prefer to drink my coffee inside where I can get my free refills! The staff here was super friendly and had a great sense of humor. Which is good for me because I am so shy and quiet...it helps make me more comfortable. HAHAHA I just choked on my coffee. ME? QUIET? SHY? No way! The gender-neutral​ restrooms were clean as was the rest of the facility. Whenever I am back in this area again, I will be happy to hit up this location! read more

I used to go here every day and things were decent if you went early in the morning. A few days ago I went and sat in the drive through for 25 minutes for them to tell me that they were closed. There were plenty of employees sitting around inside and not a single one came out to tell the line of people that they were closed. It was 11:30am. I called and asked to speak to a manager later in the day when they were open. She was very apathetic about the entire issue and said that "the signs that stated that they were closed blew away". Came here today after an appointment. I got a s'mores Frappuccino and a breakfast sandwich. Both were very good. Not sure why the drive thru gets so much flack...it went quick and everything was correct and tasted great. The staff at the window and ordering speaker were very nice. Overall good experience. Yes, yes, yes, I know its a chain. But its Starbucks. We're all robots to it. This location is just OK. When contrasted against other Starbucks' around, the seating area is pretty limited. The seating layout is narrow and long and the acoustics, coupled with the closely swinging door, just don't make it a super inviting place to do work. On more than one occasion, my PhD student best friend and I have tried to come do a working session with our laptops, but usually end up leaving early because it gets too loud and the vibe is off. Otherwise, they have a nice patio (wi-fi can be unsteady) and my drink is normally always correct, which is about all you can ask for. I did go through a period of time where my order would always be wrong, but as others have pointed out, they seem to be over that hump! The baristas working the counter are always very friendly and efficient. Will point out: came in here a couple days ago, and before I could even order, the guy goes, "Skinny Pumpkin Spice Latte?" -- not sure if he was confusing me with another regular, or just assuming that's what i'd want because i'm a 20-something girl, but LOL. I have been going to this location since the day it opened. I have seen the service levels drop dramatically since that day. A few things that the GM @ this location needs to create is a culture that embodies overall customer service, and one that ensures a great experience as well. I don't spend $300 a month on coffee because Starbucks has the best baristas is town. I spend my money at this location and with this company for the experience as well. I have been treated without respect at this location on a few different occasions, I am constantly given the wrong drinks (or the one that I ordered was made incorrectly), I have had to go back to the store on numerous occasions to show the baristas HOW they made my drink incorrectly, etc... For coffee drinkers the best thing about starting the day is to get that custom drink to get the day rolling. When paying for dissatisfaction (on a regular basis) becomes a normalcy for starting my day.... well then I guess I'm asking for it if I keep spending my money here. I love Starbucks as a company but this location needs major improvements in terms of customer service and delivering the experience that Kevin Johnson expects each location to provide. Reporting back in Some time later and I must update the review. This location has completely turned around. Sure, there are still some days when the drive thru is slower than expected but that's a norm everywhere. The service and quality however have completely changed. New management and newer staffing have kept this our daily "go to" coffee spot. Mostly everyone in the shop knows our name and they make it a great experience everyday. So I do have to say "Great Job Starbucks Solon" ! You guys are awesome and if nobody else appreciates you all we sure do ! read more

Couldn't ask for better or friendlier service. Whole staff works hard. The baristas make it really feel like Starbucks is part of the Solon community, which is unusual for a global chain. Pretty much always get orders correct, and are very generous/apologetic if you don't like a drink or if they mess it up (which again, rarely happens). This is my favorite Starbucks location in the state of Ohio. The employees are always so nice and helpful and they always question my well-being when I order my 8-10 shots of espresso. Many of them know me by name (shout out to Taylor, Alex, and Margaret). When my friend got my coffee one night they saw the order and knew it was for me and wrote a nice message on my cup for me. All of the employees are so fantastic and truly wonderful at their jobs. read more

Ordered our drinks 10-15 minutes away, and the app said they would be ready in 5 minutes. Two drinks. We waited inside for our drinks at least 20 minutes. When we finally got them, they weren't blended well, and had already started to separate and get watery. One of them had an espresso shot that wasn't mixed in with the frappe at all, it was added as an afterthought. I've had this drink several times and it's never been like that before. This has to be the worst Starbucks in the area. A) you literally cannot hear your conversations, listen to music with AirPods or study/read due to the volume of the in store music B) if you actually take the time to come in and get your drink youre punished. There should be just as many employees tending to the less lazy that come in for their drinks then the drive thru customers C) the employees could care less if you come in. Have had multiple negative experiences here, but I wonder if it comes from this location being either improperly staffed or improperly trained. Drive through lines are often very long. Some of the employees dont greet the customers waiting to be helped, even if it's just a "Be with you in a moment"; I've literally been stared at and turned away from at this location until I said hi to them. This location was clean and very friendly so I need to clarify on the reason for such a bad rating. I tried a new molten hot chocolate, the girl behind the counter put a sticker on my mug to determine which was my drink. My recommendation is to ask the customer if it's OK to do this before you do this. I noticed the barista cleaning my mug with hot water and wiping my mug down and she couldn't get the glue off my mug. I have now washed my mug several times with soap and water and the gooey stuff has not come off but now smeared across my favorite mug. Perhaps this is some process improvement that Starbucks can make or change the type of label that is used. read more

Sunday 8:30a no car behind me and Steven is frustrated b/c I ordered a "traveler" via the drive thru window. Check number 779984. Rude and argumentative, Steven tried to get me to come inside to place my order. I was straight with him and said I was in a hurry, at the drive thru, placing my order. He did not appreciate my response and attempted to provide additional "customer service" when I got to the window. I let him know that the only customer service I needed included my change and beverages. He actually considered not serving me saying, "I cannot serve you with that attitude." Traveling in the area. Ordered my usual Grande nonfat latte. Tasted like bad drip coffee from a Bunn coffee maker at Denny's. So bad that I actually turned around and drove back to the store. Explained to the counter person that it didn't taste like a double shot espresso drink. She offered to it make again. I asked if it would be made the same way because that wouldn't work for me. She said that was the standard way they make them, but she could make the new one "stronger" ??? It's a double shot espresso drink, WHY ON EARTH WOULD I HAVE TO SPECIFY FOR IT TO BE MADE STRONGER ???
