Look at the layers of flavor on this Manhattan sandwich (I added sprouts). They have great coffee drinks, a stellar atmosphere, and the owner Ron has adorned the walls with his wonderful photography. This is definitely a local's favorite, but if you're visiting, you need to stop by and see why. Also, I LOVE the shops on either side of this coffee shop as well. It's a beautiful and large coffee shop as they do their own roasting there. It smells wonderful the moment you walk in the door. My husband enjoyed a nice conversation about buying and roasting beans with John and Nick. Some coffee roasters can be a little snobby but not here. Everyone was very friendly and loved sharing the knowledge they had about coffee. If we come back to this town, this will definitely be our first stop. Because those are both better. But this is a locally owned business and I give them points for that. Service is interesting; you order at a tiny counter when you enter. The donut man seemed shy, and just a guess, surprised to see me. But he was polite. Next, you take your donuts to the cashier and pay. She seemed to try to smile. She seemed bored but was polite. Then you leave with your styrofoam container. The maple donut is fresh and tastes very good. 4 star for that. Still, I'm not sure I'd go back. Or that they would want me back. I couldn't tell. The place itself, by the way, was clean, quiet and modern looking, with a hygenic, comfortable appearance. To be constructive, I'd point out that the most comforting part of a dining visit is the people. To say you just let workers be themselves means Jitters has no interior brand. Train these employees in how to make people feel welcome. Like you're happy they're there. Like you want customers to come back. Sit-down customers seemed to be enjoying themselves well enough. So maybe I was overly picky or just misinterpreted the friendly charm. Remember, I'm just some fat guy.

Don't go here! I started going to this location back in December '09 after we moved back to the area. I used to work for this company in California and went in to get my weekly beans (as a corporate employee) and at first was treated nicely but things went down hill from there. The manager at that time started becoming rude and the partners were not much better. The few times a particular shift supervisor made my drinks they were never good. The shots were always burned and her attitude was always bad. Very poor customer service. I stopped going there for quite some time. I started going back just this last year to buy beans again and was again sorly disappointed again. Partners were more interested in talking to each other than paying attention to customers. All I was purchasing were beans, but there were a line of drinks waiting to be made and no one acting like they were in charge. This last time, just a few weeks ago, I went on again and took my 4 year old grandson in with me. Again to purchase beans and he decided he wanted a drink. I gave in and got him a tall vanilla bean Frappuccino. And once again service was terrible. There was a new partner at the register who didn't know what screens were where and how to ring things in. Sadly there was no supervisor or barista that was there to help her. Yet there were 5 other partners behind the counter at 4:30 in the afternoon. Only 1 espresso machine, at the drive thru window was being operated and there were over 15 cups on the counter waiting to be made. Finally one barista jumped on the cold bar to make the few Frappuccinos that were waiting in que. I may just have to start ordering my beans online rather than go back in this store. It seams as if the quality, training and the things that made starbucks great when I started working for them in 2004 have gone down the drain. Sorry starbucks you've lost my business and as a former partner I know how my drinks are supposed to look and taste, this store just doesn't get it. read more

Easy access if no cars in drive thru. Cool inside during the summer and comfortable in the winter. However, the Batista's are rude and untrained. When you offer advice, they snub their paycheck they just received. The management is lacking training and does not take complaints very well. ME, I'm a huge fan of Scooters. Great people, a real personality and care about their customers. GOOD SCOOTERS. read more

I love getting boba tea on a hot day so we came here for lunch on a Monday afternoon. There wasn't anyone else dining in, so there wasn't a line or the time to buy to scope the menu, but that was okay. The lady at the counter was super nice and helpful with suggested sandwiches that she likes and that are popular. The space was also cute and well decorated, so it would be a nice place to sit and have lunch, but we were on a mission and had to get our orders to-go. I was surprised to see that they had traditional bahn mis on the menu complete with pâté. Even in Austin (where I live), places will Americanize the sandwiches by not including pâté. So, I got one of those and a Thai tea with boba. You can tell the boba is prepared fresh because the boba had a nice chew to them and they're warm. (If you didn't know, the tapioca pearls are simmered in a simple syrup first before you add them to the tea.) The tea itself wasn't too sweet, which I found welcoming, but if you are looking for the highly sweetened condensed milk flavor of a standard Thai tea, you won't find that here. The traditional banh mi had a great flavor to it, but my only complaint is that it seemed light on the meat compared to what I'm used it. I would definitely come back and try some other tea flavors or even the Korean corn dogs. I was shocked to see them on the menu and didn't notice until it was too late. If you're an adventurous eater, I'd suggest checking those out sometime!

I'll get a large one of those for lunch sometimes. I gave them a 4 star not because the product is 'bad,' nor is the service (I usually have a great experience with the employees) but I just feel they're a little expensive for what they offer. My photo is a size large and it was $9. I understand it's basically a custom-made energy drink, so I understand the cost, to a point. Because of the prices I only go every once in awhile. The teas, to me, do have that very tangy...almost metallic...energy drink taste to them. And a lot of the times the shakes are a bit chalky. But they are a nice treat, and it's a great local option for the city. Compare it to a Juice Stop, or Jamba Juice. Just with less fruit and wheatgrass. They do limited time and seasonal drinks. Keep up with their socials for those!
