However, if cold sandwiches aren't your thing, they have amazing salads, soups, and everyone tells me about their fabulous cakes. Specifically people rave about the Italian wedding cake. They have great coffee drinks, a stellar atmosphere, and the owner Ron has adorned the walls with his wonderful photography. This is definitely a local's favorite, but if you're visiting, you need to stop by and see why. Also, I LOVE the shops on either side of this coffee shop as well. Sioux City Gifts has obviously fabulous gifts and Sioux City specific items, but on the other side is the most adorable flower/plant shop you will find.

Then you leave with your styrofoam container. The maple donut is fresh and tastes very good. 4 star for that. Still, I'm not sure I'd go back. Or that they would want me back. I couldn't tell. The place itself, by the way, was clean, quiet and modern looking, with a hygenic, comfortable appearance. To be constructive, I'd point out that the most comforting part of a dining visit is the people. To say you just let workers be themselves means Jitters has no interior brand. Train these employees in how to make people feel welcome. Like you're happy they're there. Like you want customers to come back. It's a beautiful and large coffee shop as they do their own roasting there. It smells wonderful the moment you walk in the door. The people are very friendly and helped us in picking out a roast for the Pour Over for my husband. I got a breve, which was absolutely delicious! The blueberry muffin was nice and moist. My husband enjoyed a nice conversation about buying and roasting beans with John and Nick. Some coffee roasters can be a little snobby but not here. Everyone was very friendly and loved sharing the knowledge they had about coffee. If we come back to this town, this will definitely be our first stop.
