I've visited numerous times, and there's something special about the peaceful atmosphere, genuine hospitality, and quality coffee that makes every visit worthwhile. Being a church coffee shop, it offers a calm, relaxing environment that's perfect for unwinding, catching up with friends, or settling in with a laptop to get some work done. It's definitely the kind of place where I could comfortably spend hours enjoying good coffee and meaningful conversations. On my most recent visit, I ordered a pour-over prepared by Kyle, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavor was so well developed and balanced that I didn't need a single drop of cream or sugar. That's always a great indication of a properly executed cup of coffee! What impressed me just as much was Kyle's outstanding customer service. He took the time to explain the different coffees available for pour-over, helping me better understand the selections before ordering. That kind of knowledge, patience, and personal attention makes a real difference. Between the expertly prepared coffee, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent hospitality, MOOR Coffee has consistently delivered an experience worth returning for. If you're in the Shreveport area and appreciate great coffee in a peaceful setting, I highly recommend stopping by. An easy five stars, and I'll absolutely be back on my next visit!

I've also met the owner several times as ive been coming here for years and he has always been kind, friendly, and welcoming. Unfortunately, my visit today felt very different. I walked in and was not greeted or acknowledged, even though I was standing right in front of the staff. Shortly after, another couple walked in and were immediately greeted by two employees, while I was still standing there without anyone speaking to me until I was asked about my order. As a Black man, that kind of experience is hard to ignore. I cannot say for certain what the reason was, but I can say that I felt overlooked, uncomfortable, and unwelcome. The lady with pink hair did eventually come out and speak to me, and I appreciated that, but the other staff members made the environment feel cold and unfriendly. It's disappointing to feel like the welcoming atmosphere may depend on who is working, or who is walking through the door. I hope this was just a bad day, but it left a bad impression.
