This is the Starbucks inside the Kroger in the Berwick shopping center. I dont normally complain, but because this happens often, I have to speak up. I was there recently & ordered a tall black coffee. There was a woman behind the counter who was chatting up her friend who came by to visit her, which held up the two of us in line for about 2 minutes. After ordering, I waited almost 10 mins before I was served. During that time, Two workers were both making a special (complicated drink) coffee (one drink) for the one person that was ahead of me. Then another worker started making a complicated drink for the person who ordered after me. So I actually waited for a while for just a Pike (which was already brewed before I arrived. I felt like I was being punished for ordering just a plain coffee. Why would it take two employees to make sure a lady gets her extra five pumps of sugar? Why was it the customer who paid after me got his special coffee delivered to him before I received my black coffee? It was clear he just walked in, so it wasn't a pre-order. Do not order coffee here unless you are in the inner circle of special customers! Horrible service You are better off going to Aisle 7, grabbing your coffee and making it at home. read more

I bought their sausage egg and cheddar with NO EGG and waited over 30 mins for them to still make my order with the egg still in my sandwich. Other people that ordered before me got their orders and me being the nonchalant person I am I let it slide, But the fact that they still messed up my order and it showed No egg and they still put the egg in just truly shows they don't know how to follow directions. read more

I have visited this location (Ogeechee Road by McDonalds, definitely NOT the one in Kroger) several times, and have learned that customer service here is an afterthought. They are busy all day, so I have learned to be really patient. This morning I had a group of Marines who needed caffeine for Toys for Tots. I offered to wait for my order and smiled. There was no customers inside, so I thought cool I got this! I expected to wait for the order but the response was it would be more than 20 minutes and maybe longer; wait, I wanted plain old coffee, isn't this your main product, what you make all day long?? This Starbucks is absolutely terrible. Slow since before COVID but that aside, the most frustrating thing about them is that they consistently do not fulfill orders in the right order. I can't tell you how many times my order has been skipped somehow. They are rude and unprofessional. Don't bother. read more

Too, I appreciate the opportunities to be given coffee and espresso grounds for recycling . Thanks last summer for the vitamin C juices and juice blends with immunity boosters when Corona Virus infections were on the rise ... I stop in some mornings before school. It's inside of the Kroger. The baristas are very friendly, but can be a bit slow sometimes and that's no good when folks are trying to get to work and school. I find myself having to repeat my order a lot, so if you have a complicated order please be patient (I mean that in the nicest way possible). Also, heads up: they don't have an oven so you can't get any sandwiches or anything like that. But overall it's pretty good as far as Kroger Starbucks go. read more

Ok so I usually come to this Starbucks if I'm grocery shopping at Kroger. Usually the experience is fine. Sometimes they're understaffed and only have one person behind the counter. That person is almost always pretty efficient, given the circumstances. Today however, I've had the worst experience there with two people behind the counter. I placed an order for a grande iced green tea latte. I pay and wait for my drink. After waiting for about 5 minutes, the cashier, Tuan, tells me they ran out of the matcha powder for my latte. However, his co-worker says no we didn't, I'll go and grab some from the back. So he lets me know that it'll be a little more longer. Ok fine, no big deal. After waiting for 8 more minutes, the girl comes back empty handed, no matcha. So before telling me this, they are debating who is going to give me the information. So Tuan comes back and says okay, actually we did run out. Is there something else you want? So I order a grande iced caffe latte. So he lets the girl know. I've now been waiting for about 15 minutes for a drink. I let him know that he should at least be trying to do some sort of service recovery for the inconvenience. So he's discussing with the girl and she acts as if she doesn't know what's going on. Tuan then decides that he'll give me any drink I want on the house. So I order a new drink on their menu, I think it's called Cascara coconut milk iced latte, which is absolutely horrible by the way. Anyway, he makes that drink and now I'm still waiting on my iced cafe latte. He's like what are you waiting on and I inform him. The girl then goes, I thought you made that drink? So now it's been more than 20 minutes on me waiting for a drink. Finally I get that drink and ask him about my refund because there is a price difference from what I ordered. I get my refund and go on my merry way. What should have only taken 5 minutes max, took more than 20. The staff needs to work on better communication as well as knowledge about what products they have before they let someone purchase it. If he would have already known they ran out of the matcha powder, all of this could have easily been avoided. They really need to do better! read more

African American woman barista was just chatting with her friend that I guess came to visit her at work idk, Got up to order she had no idea what she was doing with my Starbucks reward card and said I couldn't but a bottle of syrup because they don't sell them at that location which is weird because I bought one before at that exact location.
