The entire staff (Ray, Lou, Val, Phil, Jordan, Raven, Gabby, and some of the newer ones that we haven't had a chance to get to set their names to memory yet) is absolutely amazing! They make you feel like a member of their family every time you visit. This particular Starbucks location should be the standard that every other one needs to follow, from service, food, drinks, cleanliness, atmosphere, etc... I stopped by this Starbucks today in the morning to get a bagel. I was in the area down the street and was hungry. When I came, I parked near the entrance since it was early morning and they weren't busy yet. I went inside to place my order of the plain bagel. The women taking my order was friendly and polite. It didn't take long for my bagel to be ready and I ate it in the parking lot inside my car. They give me a plastic knife to use for my cream cheese which never happen before. I thought my plain bagel was good. My friend then called me and asked if I could get me a everything bagel. So I went back inside and this time a man took my order who handed me my original bagel and he told me they were out of the everything bagel. So I went with a plain bagel again. This store will not give tap water on request and they won't even let you buy tap water or a cup for tap water. This is the only store in town who does this and they say it's Starbucks policy. It gets really hot in this town and this should be common courtesy. Very bad customer service experience. read more

I don't usually stop in this Starbucks as I'm never in this area of scv, but it was on the way to my friends house and I figured why not. It was around 130ish when I came in to grab some drinks. I got up to the cashier who was friendly and got my order for me and with the app on Thurs after 12pm you get half off a drink order, score! As I was waiting, there was about 4 people ahead of me which all got their drinks relatively quick or at least that's how it seemed when I was waiting. Then there was me, one drink came out and about five minutes later they finally gave me my other drink. Which made no sense to me as the one girl barista working on the in house orders kept making other drinks ahead of my second one when it was in one initial order that I placed. Wouldn't you get out a customers full order all at once? I was literally in that Starbucks for over ten minutes waiting for two drinks, one being a cup of hot tea. read more

My most recent experiences have not been too great. Starbucks seems to be giving their customers less & less coffee every time, and more ice in the cups. Certain locations are using cups for hot coffee for their iced coffee drinks, as if they're trying to conceal the amount of coffee & ice that they give the customers. This location has recently been remodeled to reduce floor space, make seating sparse and uncomfortable, and encourage people to pick up and leave. It's truly sinister how this company has monopolized this industry and has now managed to kill the entire idea of using it's location as a space to work and mingle. It's a small part of a bigger trend of places becoming isolated, cold, and unwelcoming.. but I won't be returning here again since that's the direction they chose to go. read more

Thanks for ruining my entire day, I traveled to Newhall to do errands and stopped to get a bite to eat and a couple of drinks. My wife and I always order the same thing, sugar free vanilla latte breve. I didn't see the kale mushroom egg bites on the drive through menu and asked if they still had them. The guy said they did so I ordered. After leaving I discovered that I got something with egg whites and peppers. I figured the guy didn't hear me. When I was halfway to my next destination I told my wife that my drink tasted like it was made with nonfat milk instead of half&half (breve) she said hers tasted fine and pointed out that my label on the cup said breve. I continued to drink it and then I complained again about the taste and it was bothering my stomach, this upset her especially when she asked me where I wanted to have lunch. My answer was again that I wasn't feeling good because of the latte. She finally took a sip from my drink and agreed that it didn't taste right. I told her that it tasted like they had poured non-fat or low-fat milk in mine and put a little bit of half & half thinking it didn't matter and made the second cup with half & half. When we arrived home I laid down and slept for a couple hours until my stomach felt better. All of this and the fact that she skipped lunch because I didn't feel hungry because of a shitty cup of coffee brought her to a boiling point. By dinner time the shit really hit the fan! Next time I'm in Santa Clarita I will definitely drive out of my way to go to Coffee Bean! A Shitty cup of coffee isn't worth ruining your entire day, and it's only Saturday. I buy a hundred dollars worth of Starbucks cards in $5 increments to hand out to people. Recently I had $160 worth stolen out of my purse. Then I bought another $100 worth and they were stolen out of my purse. I was feeling kind of forlorn at having been ripped off so much when I decided to go back and try buying more again. I walked into this Starbucks . It was around 9:30 P.M. and the store was so clean and mellow. I walked up to the counter and Kevin N. Waited on me. I ordered $50 worth of $5 cards this time. While he activated each one I told him how I got ripped off. He was very kind and his voice was gentle. While waiting for a medicine ball Kevin came over to me and handed me a $5 card on him. That one simple act of kindness made me fill that joy and hope and warm feeling you feel during Christmas time. Kevin restored my faith in mankind. Starbucks you really hire such great people! Internet is not usable. Management needs to review and respond. In my experience, only customer complaints will motivate them. This is my first negative review of any Starbucks. The reason why I'm writing this one is to help out the future customers of this location and prevent future customer disappointment. I go to Starbucks often because I like to do online work while I get my coffee, and typically internet is consistently good with this corporation. I honestly wouldn't pay for this 2nd-rate coffee if it weren't for the consistently good internet. But here is a location in Newhall where you can't watch any online videos. And this is something I do consistently for school work. I politely informed the cashier about my experience with the internet. And he politely informed me that 1. There have been many other complaints about this and 2. Management knows about this issue, hasn't done anything to resolve it, and probably won't.... This is completely unacceptable and why you are now seeing this review. I hope the management fixes this issue for the sake of future customers of this location, however, I will never go to this location myself ever again. Like I said this is the only reason why I come here, and I know I'm not the only one. Just look around at all the laptops! P.S. Overall this is a decent new Starbucks. It seems Starbucks is revitalizing their look across all their stores - whether built from scratch or renovated - and creating a more modern coffee-shop look. Here, it wasn't too busy on a wednesday around 2pm. Plenty of workers to get your coffee needs fixed. I ordered the nitro vanilla brew something or other, and this is really why I am giving the place only three stars. Every other place I went to order this new nitro brew, there was no ice put in the drink. For one because it is already cold and two, the ice waters it down. For some reason they put ice and added some milk or something, throwing off the flavor, while the ice watered it down instantly and provided for less actual coffee. read more

I've given it several chances with the new staff and they've never made my drink correct and when I've told them it was wrong they get all pissed off. Love love this particular starbucks. It's spacious, quick, and the drinks are solid. It's spacious inside with plenty of seating and outlets. As a student, Im always on the hunt for a starbucks with enough seats and outlets, and Im glad I got to find this spot! There's also plenty of parking around, love it. I also just really enjoy the vibe here. The people are friendly, the decorations are on point and festive. The drinks here are pretty solid too. I always get double ristretto shots over ice with splash of milk. Some stores dont get it right because they let the espresso sit too long, but Im always happy with my drink here. Im not too picky about it but I can tell when it's done right ;) Overall, I highly recommend you come to this Starbucks location! I will definitely be stopping by when Im in the area read more
