The options had a Mediterranean bent, and included some gluten-free and vegan creations based on nuts that looked impressive. The more conventional cakes and pastries made for a tough choice. I ended up with some kind of sponge cake that was quite excellent. I would easily return for any number of other pastries, to say nothing of the fact that they had a crepe menu as well. My chai was a basic syrupy creation and far less impressive. Perhaps coffee is their focus. But as a bakery, this was a distinctive place that is well worth seeking out.
