I spent a good while trying to educate the lady who confronted me on the federal law protecting my rights as a disabled Service Dog handler, but she still refused to acknowledge my rights to be in the store with my Medical Alert and Mobility Dog. She was extremely poorly educated on the matter yet still refused to listen to me, the person who has been suffering with this disability for years now and actually knows federal law governing Service Dog laws. She said that I was not allowed into the store with a dog that wasn't exclusively a Seeing-Eye Dog. It's sad! I went to a beauty salon afterwards and they knew more about service dogs in food preparation than this sorry excuse for a business did! I will not be returning to this store until I get an apology and they are properly educated in service Dog law.
