I stop at this location almost every morning, when I tell you the staff is amazing they truly are. It is hard to find alot of places where their employees take pride in their work and their happy doing their job. The girls will have your coffee ready in no time! love coming here. Let's face it...Pensacola is not known for great coffee shops and if you think so it's because you've never been to a good one or been outside of the city or surrounding areas...so Starbucks it is! What's crazy is this is the ONLY good SB in town. There's actually one right down the street from this one that I pass to get here...because that other one sucks ass. This place has improved significantly since many of the negative reviews were posted several years ago. The parking lot size has been doubled, although it is sometimes still inadequate. New furniture and numerous outlets have improved amenities as well. read more

The employees basically gas lighted me to think that the whipped cream was edible:) they did remake my drink but put the whipped cream again and it was still clumpy like butter. Besides the congested parking lot and drive thru, this location is quite convenient and friendly. I've been to this location many times but never thought about reviewing it. My barista made a pretty awesome Unicorn Frappuccino! It's only the first day that it's available, but they get the job done. It may take a bit longer for drinks to be prepared, but rest assure your drink will come out just how you want it. Otherwise you can tell them what's wrong and get another one fixed right up for no charge! I normally go through the drive through at this location, but head inside if you want a more personable experience. They have plenty of outdoor seating compared to their inside options. read more

I always crack up at the reviews that mention the slow pace in the drive-thru. [You're sitting in an air-conditioned car waiting for someone to hand you a custom-made beverage; I feel like it could be worse] I have always been warmly greeted from the staff and have never felt like my orders take too long. I get it - it's a busy freakin' place. I feel like the overall environment is sufficiently relaxing and welcoming. A few years ago, my tutor and I chose to meet here for an hour or two weekly for nearly a year, and it was always something I looked forward to. Now that I'm back in town, I'm happy to see nothing has changed. There's still a very friendly staff with ample space - inside and out - and I get my custom-made coffee in 2-3 minutes. I usually go here to get work done or meet up with friends. I've never had an issue while ordering inside. If you're in a rush I recommend you NOT go through the drive thru because the wait is usually 12-17 minutes. My drink was made incorrectly but I had no time to get it fixed because I was running late after waiting in the drive thru for 15 minutes. (They will remake your drink if it's wrong) My go to drink is the pink drink, the cotton candy frap (vanilla frap with 5raspberry pumps), the sea salt caramel frap or the venti ice coffee ( 3 pumps vanilla and caramel add creamer). read more

This is one of the SLOWEST Starbucks I've ever been to. I was with my mom and she chose the drive through. There were maybe 5 cars in front of us but we were waiting for at least 15 minutes. These cars weren't multiple drink orders either. They were each 1 drink orders, and the small parking lot wasn't even full to indicate they were swamped with walk in orders. Strike 1. I ordered my usual venti chai latte and I told them light water since I've been having issues where the drink has been watery and the chai flavor never comes through. We get our drinks and the cups aren't even the holiday themed cups! Just the plain white ones. Not a huge deal, but I've never had this happen during the holiday season. Strike 2. Then my drink was terrible. So watery and BLAND. There was barely any detectable chai flavor in there. Strike 3. We'd wasted enough time in the drive through and didn't want to wait for them to correct my drink. They must hire sloths for baristas -- there's no other explanation for why everything took so long. And I haven't even mentioned the cramped and congested parking lot! Most spots are blocked by the drive through line and there were many close calls for potential gender benders when cars would try to exit a spot. Will most likely refrain from visiting this particular location again. read more

I love Starbucks but I definitely wouldn't recommend this store. Sierra and Mercedes are VERY rude and they don't like to correct mistakes on customers drinks. I have had 2 encounters and they were both unpleasant experiences. Today my drink was way over blended and watery. She looked at me and said I dont know what you want me to do and walked off. This particular store really needs to work on CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. This is definitely not a good look for the franchise. read more

This was one time my favorite Starbucks in town but after visiting yesterday at approximately 1:30pm, I will not be going back. While the nice young lady who took my order was very polite and helpful, the young man who made my iced machiattos needs to be retrained. The espresso that was used was very bitter and there were coffee grounds in the bottom of my drinks. Very disappointed in quality of drinks. If quality of drinks is important to you, find a different shop. I won't be going back. read more

COUPLE OF THINGS...I've worked at starbucks before and i know how it's supposed to run and drive thru times and everything. This place must not really care for that. I waited in line for 30 min... they really didn't seem to care either when I got up to the window due to the fact that I saw employees just standing around and talking to each other... but what set me off the edge was they handed me the WRONG drinks. and I told them that wasn't what I ordered and he looked at me confused and asked me "Are you sure" LOL yes i'm sure sir lol... i'd just not choose this location ever again read more

I always tense a bit up whenever I drive into this Starbuck's. The parking spots in this location are awful; the whole location situation is awful. If you're a truck or SUV, good luck! There's barely room to pull out/in, around, etc... Every time I go I feel as if I'm in a standoff between another car as one of us HAS to wait for the other to drive by even though we're going opposite directions. The inside of the Starbuck's is decent. It has a good amount of table space for all those individuals that need to study/work/game/download illegal stuff. No biggie there. It's pretty clean also the employees do a good job. I can't say it tastes good or bad; it's Starbucks. They all taste the same and follow the same formula/procedure. The service can be slow (especially the Drive-Thru), which could create lots of parking problems. This one, however, is a LOT faster than the one down the road. The employees are nice; they aren't mean people. I've seen them handle rude customers well. Overall, they do their job (which is good! Some places don't even do that) Location (0). Customer Service (meh. 4). Taste (3). Price (2). Overall Experience: 3. Honestly, it ain't bad other than the parking lot. It's just another Starbucks. read more

This location is literally down the road from another Starbucks on Bayou Blvd. For some reason it was not on yelp or any maps. It's a larger store with more patio and indoor seating, a bigger parking lot and really great happy staff. So glad I found it, this will probably be my go to for my favorite coffee and study spot. read more

This Starbucks location really needs to work on their customer experience. We placed an order using the Starbucks app while at the store. The place was pretty busy both inside and in the drive-thru, and of the three employees working two seemed to be frazzled and overwhelmed trying to take and make orders while the third leisurely restocked items seemingly unaware of the growing number of people waiting to either place their order or receive their drinks. After 25 minutes of waiting, we had to go out of our way to get the attention of one of the employees to ask about our order, at which point we were informed, "We can't make the drink you ordered. The app will let you order it, but we don't have the supplies." We were also told that we should have let them know that we were there "because we don't know what you look like and our mobile order station is way over there [by the drive-thru]," even though we've ordered through the Starbucks app at several other locations and never had a problem with the barista calling out our order when it was ready. Meanwhile our other drink had apparently been sitting for the last 20 minutes and was now at room temperature, and they didn't offer to make a fresh one for us. Needless to say, we will not be visiting this location again. read more
