Worse Starbucks employee ever. TERRIBLE! Standing in line and this woman decides she's closing at 7pm. It's 7:03 and she refuses to give me a cup of coffee. The app and store says they are open until 8pm. She served the person in front of me, but apparently because i was 10th in-line she can't serve me. I'll give my business to Dutch Brother's. So the coffee and tea options are pretty slim in Payson, at least when you're looking for a mocha. A grande 2 pump extra hot no whip mocha to be exact. The clerk questioned the extra hot portion but I insisted and offered to sign a waiver. Scalding please. Just short of burnt. That thermometer that is standard issue for you Starbucks folks? The facility itself is nice and roomy, but if you're in the mood for a disease or two, take a jaunt into the restroom! Absolutely filthy! Looks like every fingerprint has been left there since they opened years ago. Please Starbucks employees, if you're reading this I suggest you put someone on bathroom duty every hour. We, as the general public, pay a hefty price for your delicious noir concoctions, so the least you could do is clean the bathrooms! Third bad experience here, so I am taking the time to comment. This time, I used a gift card to pay and it happened to be empty. Unlike the other Safeway Starbucks I visit (which I visit daily), the barista (Siohban) here gave a heavy sigh and glared at my family. Instead of asking me if I would like to reload it, she hisses at me about using a gift card that has no money on it because it "crashes her computer". She continues to be rude during the rest of the order and handed us a piece of receipt paper with the wrong drink info on it and said, "You need to go to another register to pay for this. I think he said register 6". Well, it turned out to be one of only 2 registers open and had a long line. Big surprise. The coffee does not taste consistent with other Starbucks stores. You'll have a MUCH better customer experience at a gas station. read more

Surprisingly fast for a tourist spot Starbucks where the line of out of towers is insane. I think the longest part is waiting on the people in front to realize they pick up the drinks to the left of the counter and move their old butts. We stopped at this new location on Monday 11/21. It was around 2 pm and there were only a handful of customers. Not at all busy. The crew did not seem to be familiar with loading and reloading a card as it took two CS and took some time. The big issue with me was the quality of our orders. I ordered an Americana which had no flavor and badly needed xtra pump of expresso or whatever to make it taste like coffee. I had my husband try it and he agreed it was awful...and it took very long for the barista to get this order for us. Very bad experience for us as we are regular customers for Starbucks all over the state. Also the rest room was awful. Floor was so bad that I cleaned the bottom of my shoes before getting into my vehicle. I will utilize the Safeway/Bashas starbucks in the future. read more

I am a frequent customer at this Starbuck's location in Payson. I have always received excellent service. The staff is outgoing and friendly! Today I had the pleasure of Siobhon & Chris. Both are extremely efficient and know my first name and what I drink. I have never had an issue with service or the staff. I give this Starbuck's a 5 star plus rating. I would not give much credibility to the review from AJB as the comments are not consistent with other reviews posted. Sounds like AJB was having a bad day. read more

I am in the Payson Safeway Starbucks daily for my coffee and have always had consistent good friendly service. The entire team is energetic and cheerful. Its a shame that people who come in a few times or even once give such hateful reviews. Patsi, Siohban, Chris and all the staff have been excellent and the drinks are made to Starbucks standards and delicious.... Definitely 5 star service and Coffee.. read more

I LOVE the Safeway Starbucks in Payson. The staff is friendly and efficient. What great customer service when you are called by name and your drink has been started while you are still in line.
