The "cashier" was very friendly as she took our order. My cousin ordered a cold brew and I wanted to try the pumpkin blondie, tis the season! However, when we walked in all the chairs were up and an employee was sweeping the ground, seemingly like they were already closed. I looked at the girl and asked, "are you closed?" To which she just stared at me. I then asked, "do you want us to leave?" To which she just stared at me again. She's easily my age (17) or older so I don't understand why she couldn't use her words. We ended up just walking out because it was very awkward and she clearly didn't want us in there. Which is confusing because 1, it takes at most 2 minutes to make an order because it's self-serve and 2, I would've tipped good because it's close to closing. We were very disappointed. I also read above that a similar situation happened to someone only 2 months ago so I'm assuming it's the same girl.

After paying we tried to sit down but the two girls were already staking chairs for closure. We found a dirty table with four chairs and began eating. Next they started spraying cleaner all along the baseboard of the window. The smell of the cleaning detergent was overpowering and another family got up and left. The workers then announced from behind the register that they were closing in ten minutes. They proceeded to close down all the toppings but the smell was so bad we went outside to finishing eat our desserts. Why don't they close at the posted 8:30 time and then clean and close up the shop? It was so cold outside and not enjoyable to eat with the chemical smells in the shop. Such a disappointment.

I am just saying that Stewarts definitely has the money at store it is extremely busy throughout the whole day!!! I think they should put a notice up letting you know if it's over $500 they refuse to cash or don't sell lottery.... you took my cash to purchase but don't want to pay out if you win my advice do not tell them if you have or a $500 just the store and give your ticket instead of trying to be nice and let them figure it out on how they're gonna pay you your money!!!! Extremely disappointed customer

Spot Coffee has been consistent since we arrived to New York. This was our nearest coffee stop as…read morewe hibernated in our airbnb when us Californians made the move to Upstate NY (what?! Crazy I know). However since we have been coming to SPOT we've never had an issue with our drinks, and the food is actually great! On top of everything else the staff are beyond friendly. My husband works right across the street and the barista who always works in the AM memorized his order (it's the small things that make a difference!). On top of that-their kitchen is not bad! I've had their chicken dumpling soup, sourdough breakfast Sammy's, and their turkey melts. However their BCE Bagel Sandwiches take the top prize. Idk what it is--but the toasted bagel sandwich comes piping hot every TIME and you get the perfect bite of CRISP, cheese pull, and bacon...the perfect AM treat. Inside you can expect your traditional coffee shop ambiance, however there are plenty of spaces to sit and lounge.

Coffee was first brewed in Yemen during the 15th century. That's something I did not know. I found…read moreout from a commercial. A Qamaria Cafe radio commercial to be exact. I had to check this out. They have a business on Loudon Road in Latham. It's lovely. A bright, clean spacious coffeehouse with big windows and even a tree. There's signage when you walk in that celebrates Yemen's long coffee legacy. The seating isn't normal. Some of the tables and chairs are modern and minimalistic. The fabric couches have plush cushions featuring Yemeni fabric designs. The staffers at the counter were polite and friendly. As for the coffees and desserts, they were out- of- this-world. A few of them featured cardamom. It's a spice from the ginger family that I cook with but I never thought to add to my coffee. They were Iced Marib and a Qamaria Latte. The cake was delicious, too. I think it was a slice of pistachio cheesecake. Yemeni cafes seem to have become a trend across the country and it's no wonder. I stepped into this business and found myself transported to a very different and delicious world filled with history. It was a fun, tasty and even educational experience. Can't beat that.

The service is amazing. The workers are very pleasant, usually smiling and laughing with each other. The atmosphere is nice. There's 6 pumps, at an angle, but only about 10' of space between the front of the pumps and the edge of the pavement, so navigate there carefully. Since they're on the south side of Ballston Spa, their prices are generally cheaper due to competition, but their prices are still a few cents a gallon higher than the stations down the road at the 50/67 split. There are parking spaces in front and on the south side, and during busy hours, they're almost always full. It's probably people getting their morning coffee and sandwiches there instead of the fast food chains just beyond. It's a medium sized Stewart's. This one has outdoor picnic tables on the north side that are sheltered by a roof, a nice convenience. Selection is good, however, if you want all the bells and whistles of a newer, larger Stewart's, that would be the relocated and expanded one on the north side of town at the intersection of NY 50 and North Line Rd.
