I ordered the Summer Break, made with coconut, orange, strawberry, and banana syrups, and it was fantastic--refreshing, perfectly balanced, and unlike anything I've had before. Even better, all of their syrups are made in-house, which really shows in the quality and flavor. Owner James has put his personal touch throughout the shop, handcrafting most of the furniture--including the coffee bar itself. It gives the space a warm, welcoming feel that you just don't find in chain coffee shops. There's also beautiful artwork throughout the café, much of it hand-painted by his daughter Caley's grandfather, alongside pieces from talented local artists.
