I asked for a s'mores-inspired drink since that's my favorite flavor profile, and it did not disappoint. My husband ordered a maple bourbon latte with almond milk, and he loved his as well. We didn't stay this visit, but we did ask about seating and confirmed that they are pet-friendly on their patio. It's a smaller patio, but I always love when a place offers a space to hang out that's also welcoming to pets. This visit was a drive-thru order for us. They did let us know they were pretty busy, which is totally understandable, but I will say the wait was a bit on the longer side before we got our drinks. As for the coffee itself -- my husband ordered a decaf latte with tiramisu syrup, and unfortunately the flavor fell a little flat. He mentioned it tasted very weak overall, and the tiramisu didn't really come through at all. I ordered a decaf latte with cookie dough syrup. Mine was decent -- the coffee itself tasted good -- but similar to his, the syrup flavor didn't quite match what I expected. It didn't really give that cookie-dough taste, just a light sweetness. Price-wise, it came to just under $15 for one medium decaf latte and one large decaf latte with syrups, which feels pretty fair for specialty coffee drinks. Overall, not a bad stop -- especially if you're looking for a pet-friendly coffee spot with a patio -- but I do wish the flavored syrups had been a bit stronger and more true to taste. The sausage links, however, were really good. They had a nice crispy skin without being overcooked and were easily the best part of my meal. The restroom also left a lot to be desired. Both the toilet paper AND paper towels were sitting loose on the sink. There was a paper towel dispenser mounted directly over the toilet--which is disgusting in itself--despite there being plenty of other wall space where it could've been installed. The faucet was also extremely loose and felt like it was barely attached. The restroom just didn't feel clean or well maintained. Overall, the service was friendly and the cafe is cute, but between the disappointing waffle and the condition of the restroom, 3 stars feels fair.

She assumed that since I work for the management company (in no way involved in operations or anything at the store level) that I must be supporting racist actions of a customer. She believes she was protecting my daughter by trying to get her photo removed from a public Facebook page, but all she did was draw negative light and attention to my daughter. After the Hanahan Rec Department, another individual, and myself replied to her comments and put her in her place, she deleted her comments, but I have yet to receive an apology from her. I cannot believe another mother would post such things that could potentially bring negative attention and hate to a child. I will never give Mrs Doughnut or the attached Philly cheesesteak shop any of my business, and I have made my friends, family, and coworkers aware of Joanna's actions. Say all you want about Dunkin. Hell, say all you want about me, but if you bring my child into a situation, you are playing with fire.

It looks like a they paid a cleaner to remove all vestiges of life while only leaving a spec here or there to meet a quote. Ok, enough with aesthetics as I've complained enough, The staff is quick to help out and offer good suggestions when they're asked. Being a former comedian, I tried to whip up some jokes to compensate for my utter boredom, the ladies were nice enough to laugh. Needless to say, the women here had a heart. They made good suggestions but I was curious why their pastry display only had like a handful of items, did they make them or get them from the grocery store? I don't know but I was only here for coffee. I did like some of the creativity - a banana creampie latte - sounds like something.... Nevermind but all props for creativity. Oh, they do have "the world's best granola" which I made several jokes about, even encouraging other customers by saying "if you were in France and ordered granola, they would talk about Summit's granola, after all it's the world's best!" Yes, I was being the overfriendly annoying customer, b/c I was bored. At least there were some laughs. Sadly, there's nothing about Summit that stands out. I hate saying that for local businesses but I want to be authentic. Stop by if .... Well, I'm not sure why so just stop by, I guess.
