Came in for a quick pick me up before heading off to the beach. Got my usual but as a grande this time for an afternoon coffee. The inside was very clean and quiet nothing much going on except a few cars in the drive-thru. The staff was very nice & got done with My order pretty quickly and I was on my way. When I got to the car, I tried my drink and it had a strong burnt flavor. It's probably time to clean the machines. I haven't tasted something like that in a while and it wasn't pleasant the overall sweetness was fine but couldn't get over that burnt coffee taste. read more

After seeing the new Starbucks being built in Nokomis, I couldn't wait for the opening, so I could have a location close to where I work. On lunch on Friday, I pre-ordered my drink and headed over to the location and with mediately warmly greeted as I walk through the door. I was just going to run in and pick up my order and walk out. But, then I saw the holiday ornament cup and had to run back out to my car to grab my purse so I can buy some goodies. The employees were nice friendly, definitely made me feel welcome. Once the seasonal traffic picks up, I could see this place getting a lot more traffic in and out. Next time I work in the Nokomis, I will definitely be making sure I make time to get to the Starbucks and get my latte fix. read more

A good visit Today was the first cool morning in so very long and my thoughts turned to, among other things, having a warm drink. I remembered they were building this Starbucks and while it was a little out of my way today, I also knew I had not reviewed it yet. I headed south. This Starbucks has only recently opened for business and yet the drive thru was quite busy. Looks like the coffee community was happy to they opened a place in Nokomis. I went inside. Inside there were not many customers, giving the place a spacious feel, that plus I think it does have more seating than usual for a Starbucks. They also have seating outdoors. It had a bit of a Christmas feel, festive cups, a few decorations, and they played Christmas music. For my warm drink I got a Mocha Latte. It was ready in just a few minutes. Good too. Wow! Went in this place mid afternoon after placing a mobile order. This has to be the absolute filthiest Starbucks I have ever seen. The place wasn't even crowded. Just two people at tables yet The trash cans were overflowing and there were dirty napkins and straws covering the floor. A customer had to place her cup on top of the can as it wouldn't fit. Behind the counter floor was really disgusting also and employees were just stepping on all of the debris that littered the ground. The sticky mobile counter had numerous supply boxes piled directly in front of it so we could hardly reach our drinks. Do your self a favor and don't go here! This is the worst Starbucks in the country !!! On Monday, 59/2022 after driving 20 hours, we looked up on Starbucks app for a location to get coffee. This location in Nokomis Florida came up and it was open until 8 PM. Perfect !! I opened my Starbucks app and tried to place an order but it was rejected It was 7:10 PM. My wife and I drove there and the young lady said they were closed ... Better update the Starbucks App, it said the store closed at 8:00 pm. So on Tuesday 5/10/2022, I used my app to place an order at 12:31 Pm for a box of Joe. The App accepted the order and the message said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I got there in 20 minutes due to traffic. Plenty of time for the employees to make the coffee. I asked the male barista for my order and he said they still have to make the coffee for the order and it will be ready in 10-15 minutes. WHAT!!!! Another 10 or 15 minutes ? What is the sense in ordering in advance !!! On Wednesday 5/11/2022, my wife went to the counter at about 4:00 pm, my wife walked in and asked the female barista for a box of Joe . The young lady told my wife that Starbucks didn't make those. My wife pointed to the boxes behind the counter. The clerk said " oh" and she said she would have to make the coffee it will be about 10 minutes . My wife said " fine". The young lady walked away. An older female employee came to the counter and asked what my wife wanted and my wife repeated a box of Joe. This clerk stated it would take 20 minutes to brew in an obvious attempt to dissuade my wife from ordering . My wife walked out ... How is it possible to have 3 bad experiences at the same Starbucks on three separate days? A million to one ? So now I call Starbucks to complain and ask to speak to the District Manager . The customer service rep said he would call me within 24 hours ..... NO CALL BACK!! My next call will be to the executive offices. Why am I paying almost 3.00 for a cup of coffee? read more

Got into the drive through line at 2:50PM. This location closed at 3PM so I was sure 10 minutes would have given me plenty of time. Sat at the order window for a good 3 minutes or so before I said "Hello?" to where a girl answered in an extremely rude manner, "We're closed". I replied "Thanks for letting us know".... With the two cars in front of me in line, we were forced to wait in the drive through line for another 6 minutes while the location was supposed to be OPEN still, just waiting in a drive through line, refusing to be served during their business hours. I already have been boycotting this place because it sucks, but this was the cherry on top. Here's a genius idea Starbys employees: Maybe don't allow multiple cars to pile up in your drive through and refuse to service them during open business hours! Horrible service, it says that they close at 8 and I've been driving for a few hours now and I stopped by to get something to drink and they wouldn't even open the door or even talk to me and just kept looking at us and acting dumb. My fiancé and I went here the other day, Monday 11/22 around 9am, and had a really great experience. We ordered through the drive thru but when we tried to pay there was an issue on our end with our credit card. We parked in the lot to try and figure something out but realized we were screwed. I went inside and told them what was going on and apologized for making things so complicated. The person working the cash register and the person working the drive thru window that we originally spoke with were so kind and really helpful. They made our day. Their small act of kindness had a big effect on us. This all might sound silly or dramatic but it's true when people say, you never know what other people are going through. It's a very nice coffee establishment I stopped going as often because. The prices in my opinion are way too high. I don't want to pay any where from 3 dollars. To almost 6 dollars daily.. to have my ride to work coffee . I have explored other options. If you're going to accept orders on your app, let people know they can't come pick up at counter. Even with mask and plastic shields everywhere. Be sure they know before they pay with app that they will have to wait in a line that wraps around the building. There are more than 15 cars in line. So I ordered. And paid. And still have to wait while everyone else orders and pays? At least have curbside pickup or a different line for app orders. It would be smarter on your staff too. So, is my order made and sitting in there getting cold now? Tried calling to cancel (since you already have my money) but of course your staff is way too busy to answer the phone. Not surprisingly. Makes zero sense. Just give people info so they can make choices. read more

The team leaders Jessie and Page went out of their way to make my month's stay here extra nice. Nice looking building, reasonably priced, and VERY Friendly Staff! I'd love to give them five stars but the "just brewed minutes ago" Pikes Place medium roast black coffee was very acidic and harsh. If you like black coffee and not just a cup of sugar, you know that this cup was one or more of the following: old, wrong grind, new coffee in unwashed carafe, or new coffee on old coffee in same carafe. When you buy a cup like this, you'd rather not drink it and have a refund. For the benefit of the doubt, I'll go with someone made a mistake and this was not a policy decision. I'll be back and try again to let everyone know if it is a repeat worth a rating adjustment. After all, this isn't about curb appeal, it's about good coffee. A review on a good coffee shop should start with "GREAT COFFEE" in the title. read more

I have never been to a more rude Starbucks in my life. Was told I don't know what I'm ordering when asking for a refresher, ended up getting a water to avoid more conflict. Very rude workers and watched eye rolls and sighs when a nearby costumer asked for water in her expresso shot. read more
