Nani means Grandma in many South Asian languages, and you can tell upon looking at their variety of flavours. We were instantly intrigued by Dubai Chocolate, Strawberry Kefir and Tiramisu gelato. The gelato itself is denser than ice cream, and they pride in being free from eggs, gelatin or artificial flavours. After sampling a couple flavours, we paired our usual Creamy Mango with the Dubai Chocolate scoop in a regular cup ($7.25). While you pay a premium, the rich pistachio flavour did stand out to pair well with the fruit sorbet. They also serve milkshakes which take longer to prepare. We stayed for a half hour, only making a dent in our gelato. Most parking is underground at this new Port Credit condo plaza. Skip it or hit it?
