So I'm updating my review--the service seems to be getting better every time I visit, and it's become much more consistent. It's still a great place to get out of the house, throw on some headphones, and get some work done. The only downside we've consistently noticed is with mobile orders. Whenever we place one for inside pickup, it often seems like it gets overlooked or forgotten. Aside from that, we've had good experiences and will continue coming back. read more

Ordered my usual grande cappuccino with heavy cream and five Stevia poured in to sweeten it up. Service was good, but I was the only one in the drive-through line. Barista seemed a little bit confused by my order and repeated it a couple of times before we were on the same page with it. A cappuccino tasted good and I can't complain about the quality. Having had a few negative experiences at this unit over the years, I generally try to avoid it unless I know that I won't be driving by another Starbucks store soon. Can't beat the location, it's perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the weather and a great view. Problem here is some of the personnel. I stopped in this morning for some coffee and a pastry. At the time they were serving only the Pike's, everything else was pour over, which I am not fond of. When I mentioned that they should keep the other coffees available until a little later in the morning, I got attitude from two of the cows working there. So I just ordered the Pike's. Then there is the matter of the pastry. I know we've had about 25% inflation total since 2021. Pre-covid, the pastry I chose was 2.95. It was recently jacked up again and is now 4.45 with the slice being visibly thinner. Completely unacceptable. Anyway, when I am traveling and going through Burnet, I would choose the Starbucks there over this one. No views, but no attitude either. read more

I ordered a Venti Iced Chai Latte, at the window I was handed a Grande (Medium I believe). I told her I had ordered a Venti, and was also charged for a Venti. She very sweetly said she'd fix it for me. I then watched her pour the Grande drink into a Venti cup and hand it back to me. I didn't have time to get it "fixed" a third time so I took it. Let me first state that I never have left a bad review for anyone I'll go out of my way to make a good review to lift up others bc that's the kind of person I am but today I couldn't be more unhappy with an establishment. The food was terrible the drinks were even worse. I couldn't even drink the drink that I get often(obviously not from here) I don't know why I ordered online because they made me pull aside as I watched not 1 but 5 cars pass me through the drive thru. It took them 30 minutes and they were supposed to bring my drinks out to the car. I ordered online I specifically did not want to go inside. Which made my kids late for school. I left a certain time ordered online to avoid being late. Not only that. The thing that got me mad the most was how the women inside handled my situation. Not 1 of them showed any care in the world. Literally one of them told me that I need to order 20 minutes before I come. I told them I did! She just said "well yeah now it's been 20mins" it had been 30. It's a Starbucks... I mean what else are you going to say? Okay, a bit larger than the average Starbucks and with a convenient drive-thru. But be prepared for a wait in the drive-thru. There were six cars ahead of us in the drive-thru and I really can't say how long we were in the line, but it wasn't a short wait. But what's so baffling is when we got to the window, they had our order ready; took our money and we were on our way. Yet every car in front of us seemed to be at the pick up window for an exorbitant amount of time. The most disappointing part of all is when it came time to pay at the window... they hand you an electronic device that asks for a tip. They made me a drink I ordered and handed it to me. WHY do I need to tip them? I understand tipping is at my discretion but if I want to tip, I'll hand you a tip. Why do you need to push this in my face? And Christmas Eve of all times? It's JUST coffee, and some extraordinarily expensive coffee at that. I wanted to get a drink with eggnog and was told they don't have any. I've never been to a Starbucks over the holidays and they didn't have eggnog. FYI, if you are looking for GREAT coffee, just go down the road a little farther to Mojo. They also have a drive-thru, it's amazing coffee and they will not ask you for a tip. read more

Probably the last time I stop there .. went thru the drive thru ... mid Saturday afternoon only one car ahead of me in line . Drove up to the window and the girl that was working the window just disappeared. After about five minutes idling I finally got the attention of someone inside and asked if anyone was working the window . Some guy comes up and says the girl that was at the window was making food .. I told him at least she could have said something before she just walked off .. we saw our coffee sitting on the counter the whole time we were waiting.. Got a breakfast sandwich which was very tasty with a small hot cocoa on a misty morning. Sitting outside and enjoying the hustle bustle of the traffic and the beautiful views was the best part. I don't visit Starbucks that often. But, on this day it was nourishment for safe travels back to my ranch in Driftwood. I started the morning in Abilene, Texas with my car club peeps. We met in the lobby for breakfast (donuts on me) and then headed to a local gun range. We spent some time unloading some lead and sweeping up casings before heading to our main objective which was Perini Ranch Steakhouse in Buffalo Gap. Excellent steaks, and then one member suggested we visit the WASP museum in Sweetwater, Tx to check out the planes. Afterwards, we headed home. Long drive for Ol' Rooster. Thing is when I was between Lampasas, TX and Marble Falls I remembered there was a Starbucks on my route. Friendly staff when I arrived. Small town wait versus a big city wait. My daughter and I visited the Marble Falls Starbucks today. We planned to use the restrooms and then purchase a beverage. One of the bathrooms had urine all over the floor around the toilet. The other bathroom had no paper towels. Your staff use these disgusting bathrooms, don't dry their hands properly and then serve drinks and food to your customers. We visited this Starbucks for coffee 3 times this past weekend, ordering the same exact items all 3 times. A basic breve latte extra hot. Not any of the 3 times we ordered were the drinks corre t. The last and final trip the latte tasted like Luke warm milk. No coffee flavor at all. This store is in desperate need of training. First and foremost Starbucks is known for consistency. this starbucks has a low review average for a reason. Store is in shambles. Cant keep managers, cant keep employees, cant train properly. If you want to wait in the drive thru for an hour just for your drink to taste horrible then go ahead. Great location and service, the only people who have bad reviews about it is bc they are dicks and have nothing better to do with their lives but to complain over a damn cup of coffee. Learn how to manage your time better if you're running late don't blame it on the baristas.
