I'm a bit of a coffee snob living in the Pacific Northwest and they deliver on their espresso drinks. Great menu for breakfast and lunch. My avocado toast was delicious. They put a hot pepper jam on it too, not to much but enough to give it a lil kick and added flavor. I wanted to stay another night just to come back but have to hit the road. Highly recommend if you're in town!

This place is now called Kinship Roasters…read more Stopped in for a cup of coffee today and was shocked to learn that a 10 ounce cup of coffee with half and half cost me over $5. Note, if you use the kiosk to avoid the line, half and half is referred to as breve and will cost you an extra $1. There is no cow milk, cream or half and half option on the kiosk. I asked the staff and they told me to put notes in, I had to explain that was not an option either. Judging by the crowd at the store, it must be a popular place and they do brisk business - most of which is stay, sit and chat with your coffee. It seemed to be very popular with college age and recent post college persons - I did not see a lot of gray hair in the business (other than mine). Coffee was okay, tends towards more of a medium to light roast. Not my fave. Not sure I want to pay $5 for coffee again - probably won't be back.

I…read moreordered a salad based on classic flavors of sundried tomatoes, pesto, and goat cheese, and boy they sure did not skimp on any of those things. The result was robustly flavored and fit my need for an early meal. The location is part of a mixed residential and retail complex that was a bit odd to navigate. They also had a bunch of smoothies and such, and I noted one customer who actually asked for the non-dairy nut milk to be replaced with dairy milk. I found it amusing that we've gotten to a point where someone ordering food has to explain that they're not a vegan. If you are avoiding dairy, however, there's plenty for you here, and I could not expect a small place in a town like this to fill its niche much better.

It is super hard to decide! The ladies at the counter were so kind and patient with me as I kept going back-and-forth as to which tree I wanted most. I ended up with a fig pastry, and my mom got the cream cheese danish with raspberries pastry. My dad got the cinnamon bun. My mom and I split each of ours so we could try both. I have to say, if you like sweet, the fig one is for you. The raspberry isn't as sweet and I actually like that one better. No matter what you choose, you can't go wrong! This is definitely a must stop for your list! Bon appétit!

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit for the first time recently and ordered a chocolate caramel cheesecake protein shake. Their menu is composed of meal replacement protein shakes and loaded teas (energy teas). Both have many flavors to choose from! I am quite picky with my protein shakes and was hesitant to order one that I didn't either make myself or purchase pre-bottled, but I was so impressed with the flavor, texture, and overall quality of my shake! Many people avoid protein shakes because of a gritty texture and a noticeable protein powder taste, but these are so well done that you almost think you're having a milkshake! My only suggestion is that they need to play music or something in there because it is REALLY quiet and almost awkward to stand waiting for your shake (I felt the need to whisper). Additionally, I wouldn't have known this place existed if I wasn't so curious about new places opening up in Wyndhurst. I hope some presence on Yelp will change that because I highly recommend visiting. I'm planning on returning soon!
