This branch of Starbucks is located on Uxbridge Road, and is rather close to Westfield London and Shepherd's Bush Overground and Underground Stations, considering there is so many Starbucks branches in London, based on a google search I found there to be 260 in the Greater London area, Starbucks is really popular here as is many coffee shops, for example there are 2 Starbucks stores in Westfield London just around the corner, all seeming equal as busy.
This Starbucks store didn't really impress me in terms of beverage quality, the man who served me seemed quite friendly and offered to remake the Gingerbread cream, after it came out like liquid the first time, however as he basically knocked the cream off to redo it, and then put more on, my drink became too creamy and sickly, especially as the same issue ended up happening again as the cream had no thickness at all, like I was used too.
Due to this, my Venti iced Gingerbread Latte was quite a poor quality, compared to other branches due to the cream being an issue, I even was told not to take off the lid of my drink to avoid a volcanic effect, of it exploding all over me.
There was a limited amount of seating, and the store was a little narrow, like all Starbucks branches it had free wifi, and like most stores it charged the regular price for my drink which was £3.95 in this case, the same as it would have cost back in Manchester, so in this case the drink isn't any more expensive in London, and also they accepted Starbucks cards. If you're travelling from overseas, Starbucks cards from countries such as the USA and Ireland can be used in the UK, and there is more countries to add to that list too.
Overall, this is quite a poor Starbucks branch mainly down to a lack of training with the launch of the Christmas beverages such as the Gingerbread latte, affecting quality, this also isn't the nicest of branches in terms of layout and decor I have visited either, due to the same, it lacks that modern, cool, spacious feel which is a shame too, so sadly I feel like this branch deserves a single one-star rating. read more
