We spent hours here, working our way through all of the sarnies, cakes and biscuity treats on the stand, accompanied by tea, silver service style, and a rather excellent camp crocodile joke that I am ashamed to say I can't remember. Your belly deserves this cake, and these excellent people deserve your custom. Arrogance however, does not. Inside, the Angel is anything but arrogant. Staff are polite and attentive, after inquiring about wi-fi, the manager came and checked I'd logged on okay. I had a hot chocolate and although it looked nice it turned out to be mainly whipped cream and a small amount of hot chocolate, which was also quite cold by the time i had eaten all the cream! I had a chocolate brownie which was nice but a touch on the small side for the price i paid. Overall i feel for a prime location like this it should be better priced and have more attention to detail when making drinks.

I had the tuna and mozzarella fishcakes with beautiful homemade coleslaw; absolutely delicious and a bargain. The white chocolate milkshake is a must and the mint aero cheesecake is sublime.
