This is my new 'home' Starbucks, and my love times with the release of the Dubai chocolate matcha... a drink I would have never ended up with without the amazing recommendation and service from employees! This location also gets all the bonus love because they are SOOOO good to Poppy the puppy! She lives her best pup cup life! read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Lexington, Kentucky

This is a typical Starlbucls. Nothing special except for amazing bad service. I will go elsewhere if I have a choice. read more

I ordered through the app and arrived to see that their dining room was close. The sign at the door says they are encouraging everybody to use the drive-through only. I am not in a car, and they are refusing to give me my order even after it's been 55 minutes since it was made. They tell everybody they have to go through the drive-through and they won't even give my order to somebody who is going through the drive-through and giving them my name for me! I cannot even get a refund! read more

Starbucks - The counter FULL of fulfilled mobile orders - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Lexington, Kentucky

This is a busy location so have some patience. There's plenty of staff and they are doing there very best. I'm obsessed with the Christmas flavors so I'm one patient customer. Happy Holidays and be generous tipping our dedicated baristas. read more

Service - First the staff is nice enough and always seem to be doing something. ! But they are strapped by process failure. It's not the people- it's the process. They never have time to greet you or make service decisions because of the stringent process and overload of app and drive thru orders. For example I waited 10 minutes (normal) for a grande hot coffee which was already brewed and sitting behind the cashier. They could have just poured and handed it to me with a good day and thank you. I don't always order ahead in the "app" because it's just so impersonal. Would love it if a new shop opened near The Summit focused on the customer - they'd have my loyalty If you go there in the am - use the app and don't expect anyone to have time to say hello. Lastly the coffee is just ok read more

The drive-thru employees at the Summit location are always so friendly and upbeat. The drive thru here can get pretty backed up and it's a bit hard to navigate to let cars in and out, but they do a good job of serving up drink orders quickly and efficiently. But, it's the customer service here and the great attitudes of the baristas that make this location great. read more

Had the pleasure of interacting with Lindsey today. I ordered the same drink I do every single day through the mobile app. She gave me a hot drink, even though it was a iced brown sugar shaken espresso, like always. Then when I wanted it Iced she poured a hot drink on ice that didn't fill up the grande cup I ordered. And tried to give me a half full cup. Somebody please help this girl with her customer service read more

Caryn, my barista, is so kind and professional! My Peppermint Mocha is the perfect touch for what has been a crazy and stressful day. I appreciate that there's handicapped parking available in the private parking lot. read more

This isn't my favorite Starbucks location in Lexington due the bad traffic flow of the summit in general, but I really have to give it up to the amazing staff here! This Starbucks is always busy, yet their staff is always positive and polite to customers, despite the craziness of the area! read more

I recognize this is a busy location. I still don't understand why the past few times the wait and service continue to be an issue. For context, I am ordering a tea or hot coffee listed on their menu board, without any customizations. The first time I walked inside to order and was told the wait was 30-40 minutes. I couldn't stay but it looked like a team was there after a game, so the wait was understandable. The second time, I placed a mobile order but needed to go thru the drive-thru. The line was 10+ cars deep but I figured it would go quickly and it was my only option since I couldn't go inside. 20 minutes later when I got to the window, my mobile order drink (a tea) was not ready. I recently tried a third time because I needed to go to the Summit, and thought I must have just been there on two bad days. I did a mobile order for inside pick-up this time. 17 minutes later I arrive to see a long line of cars and am thankful I chose to go inside. My drink (a hot tea) wasn't ready. Not a big deal as I had an errand to run and could pick it up on the way back. I leave, run my errand and drive back to Starbucks. It's now more than 45 minutes after I originally ordered and I still don't see my drink. I check the app, yes it's the correct store, yes the app said the drink is ready. I check all the drinks on the counter again just to make sure. I see there are several people waiting at the register and no one is taking their order. The employees aren't making eye contact with any customers either so I just have to ask the first employee who gets close to the counter whether there is another place for mobile orders because the drink I ordered 45 minutes ago isn't there. Without looking at me, the employee said that someone else may have accidentally picked it up, and shrugged. I left without the drink I paid for and went home. I am not giving this location a fourth chance. There are too many local coffee shops, and Starbucks specifically, that seem to be just as busy. Somehow these places are able to manage the volume despite their own limited staffing and without making customers wait 20-45 minutes for a standard drink. read more

I haven't been inside this new Starbucks but they are super efficient in the drive thru. There is a lady that works there (for the life of me I can't remember her name) who has an odd, quirky sense of humor. I love it though because she always makes me laugh (which let's face it, who is really happy before their coffee at 6 am). My drink was messed up one time and the barista fixed it and let me take the messed up one with me. All the baristas are so nice and welcoming!!!! Probably the best Starbucks in Lexington based on everything (location, workers, etc.) read more

This Starbucks has, twice now, told me I couldn't get something I've gotten at a bunch of other Starbucks; an oatmeal steeped with milk, and a half caffeinated half decaf coffee. So this guy tells me I have to get an Americano. Fine, but hey Mr. Shorterm Memory Loss, I asked for it with classic and 2%. Thanks for giving it to me black... read more

The young idiots at this Starbucks need a lesson in customer service. They may want to get names right too. My cousin and I ordered from here recently and after our drinks were made, the male barista called out another patron's name once our drinks were ready. We waited 10 minutes--watching 3 different people walk up to the counter to check to see if our drinks belonged to them. No one behind the counter even acknowledged us after we ordered. They wouldn't even look up or turn around..they kept walking back & forth to the window and in circles. We just continued to stand there waiting for our names to be called and it never happened. It wasn't until I approached the counter and asked if these were our drinks did one barista say our names. When my cousin asked the barista seen looking at the camera below why they didn't call our names, she had nothing to say. She walked away from the counter and ran to the back, as you can see in the photo. The beverages were good, but the service was bad. Very bad. read more

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this Starbucks before now! This is absolutely my favorite Starbucks in town and I regularly drive past 1-2 others to specifically go to this one. It is more spacious inside than many others, but the employees are what truly elevate it. They are friendly, efficient, and genuinely get to know their customers. When this location first opened, there were some glitches, but now any drink I order (I tend to rotate between a few favorites) is always made extremely well. The drive through gets backed up at times, but there are plenty of convenient parking spaces, and I'd always rather run in to get my drink and chat with the baristas anyway. read more

They don't have enough seating so you may not be able to sit down. I couldn't find any electrical outlets for rechargIng devices. The bathrooms are clean and the staff is nice, but I can't go here again because I have to sit down. I'm handicapped but none of the loud, chatty young women there will offer you a chair even if you are desperate for one. They should expand this Starbucks because there is space to expand and they need it. Maybe they could build a second floor, too. read more

30 min wait inside due to drive through and mobile app priority.. Um, no. That's not the way it's done. Regulate and take care of your dine in customers, because the others knew they'd wait in a drive through, or for mobile order. Since when does the convenience service take precedents over the customer standing and waiting in store? Not only rude and unprofessional, but shows poor management at this location. May as well close your doors then. read more

Love this new starbucks!!!! it's in the summit and it's so cute! Great place to hang out all day and do work. Lots of parking too!

I drink Starbucks just about 4 times a week. Today, I came here in the evening. I ordered a Venti size drink, I was given grande. I told the person at the window and she went and spoke to someone about my drink. They gave me the drink. It was the grande drink they gave me in a venti cup. Half drink, half foam. They also took all of the ice out of the drink. The drink was disgusting (as I order the same thing mostly). This was very disappointing and my very first starbucks disappointment. read more

Went here one day last week -- Jenn (red hair and blue eyes) just seemed to be missing the spark that I've come to find in Starbucks baristas. She made it complicated to order my drink and therefore not enjoyable. Also, if it's hard for associates to hear clients with masks and plexiglass maybe you guys can add a mic in front of the register that goes to a headset to the barista. Thanks. read more

The barista Chris was the kindest man. I was asking about my rewards points and he ended up promo-ing my drink and giving it to me for free. Small acts of kindness like that go a long way. Thank you, Chris, for your generosity!!! Love this location, everyone is so kind and considerate. read more

Zero stars need to be added as an option. My wife came by the other day and it took 25 minutes to order one drink. She was annoyed especially since no one said I'm sorry for the wait, but maybe it was just a crazy day and trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Then again just now at 1:36 my wife and I ordered two drinks and just received them at 2:05. It shouldn't take that long especially when we asked where the other drink was. Plus, she never apologized for the long wait all she said was "it's just as busy in here as it is in the drive thru plus there's ten orders in front of you and it'll be up soon love." (The way she said it was basically saying calm down just wait a second). I don't know what's being going on the past week but they need to figure it out because it's never been like this at this location. We've decided to go anywhere else but that location again. It's sad because it's the closest one to her work. Don't know her name who was the drive thru lady was but she needs an attitude adjustment. read more
