I ordered the Vietnamese phin drip coffee with pandan coconut. First impression wasn't great. It was very bitter despite the sweetness, almost like the coffee was burnt. It had a strong acidic taste. Vietnamese coffee is usually very strong and sweet, but even when it's strong, it still tastes good on its own. This one tasted more burnt and acidic. I didn't drink much of it the first day and didn't think I would be able to finish it given the bitterness, bit I took another sip the next day and it actually tasted better. Once the cold foam had blended into the drink, it helped cut down some of the bitterness and made the drink taste smoother overall. I'd give them another try to see if it was just an off day, or at least make sure to mix the drink well next time. The friendly staff and convenient location make it worth giving another chance.
