I saw this Starbucks at the Rio hotel here in Las Vegas. It was nice to have Starbucks everywhere in Las Vegas where whenever you need it. I spent about two experiences here during my stay in Las Vegas.
This Starbucks location is on the ground floor of the Rio hotel & casino. The two times I was here was on Sunday night and Monday morning before checkout. I stayed at the hotel for one night and having Starbucks before bed and the next morning before I checked out was a good thing. On my first experience, the line wasn't very long and I got my Starbucks order within five minutes. The staff here was very good and friendly. It was on a Sunday late afternoon in February 2024 before dinner and I noticed that they open until 8pm, so I needed to get in before they closed. it was nice to have something before dinner and Starbucks did it for me. The other time I was here at this Starbucks was Monday morning around 9:30 AM. Presidents' Day holiday. There was maybe 20 people ahead of me, but the line went fairly quickly and smoothly. I guess Monday morning, even though it was a holiday people still love their Starbucks at the end of the day, it was a quick meal in itself, because I could not find any breakfast within the hotel, because I learned that their breakfast buffet had been closed due to the pandemic COVID-19. So I just happened to have a Trenta black iced tea for Sunday night before dinner and a Trenta black tea lemonade and two brownies to serve as my breakfast for Monday morning prior to check out. For the most part, though, this Starbucks is always a begin of light for people who are on the go and need a quick fix for their meal in Las Vegas.
The overall experience here at the Starbucks - Rio Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas was interesting to say, but typical. It was quite interesting to see Starbucks operations inside a casino hotel. Similar to airports for sure, from what I observed and remembered. Didn't like the long line on the Monday but I shouldn't have had to worry because I was on vacation, but still sucks. My favorite thing to get at a Starbucks will be the brownie. It had to be warmed up, which taste really really good. I'm glad that Starbucks serves and other non-coffee items because I stopped drinking coffee since 2012 December because about caffeine and coffee makes me so jittery. The Starbucks itself was fairly popular especially on Monday. It was standing room only and there was not a place to sit down and enjoy your order. It kind of sucks but it is what it is. I found that dust stuff on Monday was typical of your usual Starbucks because they were busy filling peoples orders, and they have not really much time to engaging conversation with the customers. The yummy is usually cool, and the vibe was very nice especially the casino in Las Vegas. But it's Las Vegas and Starbucks so the vibe doesn't change unless the music section changes Anyway. And so, if you enjoy Starbucks and staying here at the Rio hotel and casino in Las Vegas, it's a nice place to start your day or end your travel day with a nice cup of coffee or tea. Come on down, they'd be glad to see you.
This Starbucks location is stationed inside the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Is physical located at 3700 W Flamingo Road. It is near the strip but not really. I'm not sure if they do room charges, but they accept major credit cards and cash. As far as parking goes, the Rio hotel and casino has parking for guests and people who want to gamble. As for me though, I ended up staying here for one night, so I had no rental car. I Uber here and took an Uber out after checking out. Pretty sure the Las Vegas regional transportation bus can accommodate you if you need this service. They should have routes that service this area from the airport, but I'm not sure. Check with the Las Vegas regional public bus transportation website to make sure that there are established routes that connect the hotel with the airport and wherever your travels may take you. Of course, there is also Uber and Lyft for your service. This Starbucks location was fairly large in size and had about 5 baristas servicing us that morning I was there. It was interesting how they work to fill orders - in person and mobile orders as quickly as possible. Perhaps I should have known it was Monday and waited in my room later but it is what it is.
4.0 stars for the overall experience.
