There are quite a few Starbucks locations in the area but time and time again, I find myself making a separate trip to this one. Even though they don't have a drive thru because it's in a Vons, the quality of the drinks remain consistent and I don't mind taking a few moments out of my day to pop in. Every sip is consistent. The drinks are made correctly so you actually get to enjoy to the very last drop. Today I was chatting with Kiana and she's just a giant ball of sunshine. Since when going to Starbucks turns in to a political thing. I order 3 drinks and two had written Ivanka and Erick on them. I think is so disrespectful and gross. I felt targeted and threatened by this. My time of enjoyment turned upsetting!! The employees need to reprimanded as this behavior is unacceptable in a business setting. How does this location have less than 5 stars?!? I've honestly never even reviewed a Starbucks before cuz they've all been so terrible, consistently, that I felt it was imperative that I left this stellar review!! I live less than a mile from this location and let me tell you, they understand the art of the BOSE (BrownSugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso) Time and time again I've had to wait in the chat cue for their customer service to complain about my terribly made BOSE - from airports, to stand alone locations - I'm forced to answer basic questions and provide photos of my experience so I can then be refunded and thus, vindicated. (Use this hack on their website) But not here! This place kills it every time and the customer service is amaze balls. The staff is fast and friendly, and although they seem to have a network of regulars they love to chat with - they never engage with me, and that really means a lot to me. Food is great! I had such a bad experience at the other Starbucks on Ft Apache on Sunday but the other Starbucks on Durango renewed my faith in the franchise. I just left and it was a little before 6a and boy I almost got sideswiped in the parking lot to get to the drivethru lol people are serious about their coffee! Slow down folks! Although extremely busy, I estimated a total of 10 cars moving through there, I placed my order, paid and drove off within 5 minutes. 5 minutes Ft. Apache! This Starbucks is located inside a Vons store and I love how convenient it is to grab coffee! I always come here in the morning before I go to work. I find it easier to get down and order inside rather than to wait in a drive thru. The line isn't usually long and the service is pretty fast! The staff makes sure your order is right and I never hesitated to ask questions or if I need a slight adjustment. My coffee tastes just the way it's supposed to taste and I haven't had any disappointments thus far! I also love how one of the ladies who works there is so sweet to me. She always advertises any promotions they may have especially if it involves their food/pastries. I took on a great deal when I ordered a grande drink and it came with a discounted breakfast sandwich. I don't know if that promotion is still there but luckily I caught that in time during a visit in January. I'm absolutely disgusted with this Starbucks and the way that it addresses its customers. I have watched this company's quality of customer service and products slowly go downhill over the last two years, but it has now gotten to the point where the competition is catching up to it and enough is enough. I made an online order for two bacon Gouda sandwiches, one classic oatmeal, and a Venti latte with almond milk and four shots of coffee/espresso. I went to pick it up and bring it home. To begin with, the bacon Gouda sandwiches both had bacon that looked like pure white fat and not actual bacon. The whole thing was just pure white lard. I threw the so-called bacon away from both sandwiches and ended up making my own bacon at home and placing that on the sandwiches for the kids to eat. Glad I paid so much money to make my own bacon that actually looks like bacon! The oatmeal only came with oatmeal and none of the condiments, which include the brown sugar and the nut medley and the raisins. None of that was included. When I called the store to simply complain about this, with no mention about anything concerning the bacon Gouda's, the manager, who answered the phone, started giving me this whole lesson about how their app is not working and it's not accurate and she kept going on and on until I finally had to cut her off and explain that I don't want an explanation about what went wrong but how she's going to correct this for a customer that paid a lot of money and drove all the way there to pick up this food. It seemed like she was completely oblivious to customer service but rather to making excuses to protect a system that is completely broken. I went ahead and simply hung up and was done with the conversation, because I realize that she did not think there was anything truly wrong with what just happened. The coffee was just OK, which is usually the case and the reason I get this is because they have no sugar free options except the sugar-free vanilla which tastes like chemical. My whole office division is just ridiculously disgusted by the experience as well and everyone has been talking about another coffee company that's only not even a quarter of a mile away that's way better with way better prices and way better service and that's where I'm going to go to now as I've tried them and I love their coffees... Way better than Starbucks! Sorry Starbucks, but the place I used to love is no longer all that great and the competition is coming in strong. I'm happy to say that Dutch Bros just gained over 20 new customers that Starbucks has now lost. Even Starbucks multiple food items are not a plus, as they too are disappointing. Starbucks inside of a VONS grocery store? Yep! Whoever thought of this idea is awesome because it's seriously a double win to be able to grocery shop and get a drink! These baristas also have the ability to ring up your grocery items as well which is a plus when the normal check out line is too long. Every time I have visited this locations it's always been great customer service! Just like any other Starbucks this one has it's rush hour times as well and because it's already such a small space waiting in that line can get uncomfortable especially when people bring their carts with them! I've been coming here for years since it's the closest to my work and the lack of training still continues up to this day. Every year with my Starbucks refill tumbler (free coffee or tea for the whole month of January), employees still ring it up incorrectly or look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them the drink should be free, which is specifically written on the tumbler itself. As with any other stores, both in food & retail, employees should be probably updated or trained of new promos and merchandise. Today, a worker I had never seen before shook his head & said "Ummm.. Is that even a thing? I guess I'll give it to you since you're saying it is." with the biggest attitude. This location is convenient but most workers have terrible customer service. read more

This is the closest Starbucks to home. It's a kiosk located inside Von's in Rhodes Ranch so there is no seating. Staff is always friendly but on the slow side. The few times that I've visited the kiosk, there has only been one barista so allow 10-15 minutes of wait time, if you're in a hurry don't expect to get in and out quickly. The kiosk opens at 5:30 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. They have a small selection of pastries, the usual such as muffins. To the left side of the kiosk, around the corner, they have the sugar, creamer, etc. for your coffee. read more

I drink coffee almost everyday and this is the closest one to my house. It's the fastest drive thru Starbucks I've ever been to and it's open til 11:00pm everyday. When the drive thru is busy it can be a pain waiting in the parking lot and cars are trying to back out and leave but you're usually not in the same spot for too long. read more

This Starbucks is consistently the slowest Starbucks I've visited. I most often stop here in the afternoon, so I'm not sure if the problem is specific to their afternoon staff. I've had to wait as much as 20 minutes just for a single latte. I've tried both their drive through and going inside, and they are both slow. It's a shame because this is the closest and most convenient location to me, but it actually makes sense for me to go to the next closest one simply because of time. read more

Where can you go wrong here? It's coffee and you can never go wrong with coffee. I love Starbucks and this one which is inside Vons is very handy. It's nice to either get one while shopping or getting groceries, or on your way out. Getting a hard earned drink can be refreshing after hours of slaving in the store getting food for the family. Employees are quick to make drinks. However I believe they don't have any people on staff there, so maybe more would help, such as 2 to 3 employees working at once, rather than the one I believe is there. Convenient it's in a store. This is the only drive thru Starbucks on my way home from work and they have NEVER made my drink right. I get the same drink everytime, so I know when it's not right. I mean, it's pretty obvious when the shots go bad or when they just don't add enough. Which at that point is infuriating because you just paid $6 for a chocolate milk.
