I really like this location. The staff are super fast and work like a well oiled machine. If there is one thing that I love about Starbucks is consistency, consistency, and consistency. The training and multitasking reminds me of how some Seattle coffee shops used to pump out coffee with 8 people waiting in line. Even when slow, the baristas are efficient. Quick stop at Starbucks after visiting Pfingst Animal Acres Park with the kiddos! The staff were super friendly, earning an A+ in my book. My 8-year-old ordered her own drink and was thrilled... until she saw her name spelled "Sannie" instead of her actual name . She laughed it off, relieved that her order was correct at least! However, the table we sat at was a different story - it was pretty grimy. We didn't stick around to eat since our bus was arriving soon, but what caught my attention was that one of the staff cleaned the table right after we got up. The employee here are amazing! I bought I Galinda drink and they accidentally made it a size smaller but nonetheless they gave me both my venti drink and the grande drink. They're always very friendly and want to spark up a conversation. Very sweet and nice people. I have been going to this store a little over two months, ever since I moved. At first I felt like the drive-thru was extremely efficient and kind but today's experience has definitely shaken that. I usually place my mobile order on the way to my car in the morning, which gives me about 10 minutes to go get it. The app always shows about a 10 minute time for pick-up. Today the line was longer and slower, I thought someone must be being extra and holding it up. When I got to the window I was met with no greeting or kind face, I assume she was overwhelmed. Name Tag said "Liz". She questioned my order, whether or not I actually placed it, if I placed it to the right store etc. Normal questions if they hadn't come with the condescending and impatient attitude. She kept walking off to scroll the mobile orders aggressively. She told me to get out of line and back in, to which I replied I would rather not since I was already a long wait and I had my toddler with me, the order now nearly 20 minutes into queue. She told me to just sit there then, and walked away. I had to actually ask my husband if I was crazy to think that she was being so unkind. Ultimately she stops talking to me, sees the order after scrolling a bit, and then makes it. As she hands it to me, no eye contact, no word, just yells back "don't make Megs, I did". I was a partner for 4 years and a coffee master for two of them, I completely understand dealing with difficult customers and the stress of a busy line. In no way does that entitle you to be nasty to anyone. Breathe, be kind, you don't know what my day has been like either. In complete disinterest of running into Liz and her impatience again, I think I will be using a different store to pick up my morning coffee. 3 stars for those who really show up to work. read more

The baristas are super friendly and remember your name. Drinks are good. My only complaint, which is not the fault the baristas, is they seem to be permanently short staffed. In the early mornings, there's only two baristas managing both the drive thru and inside. I had to stop coming here because I would sit in line for 20 minutes and be late to work. I know, I know...it's a Starbucks. And as a former-independent-coffee-shop-owner I'm probably going straight to hell for writing such a positive review about a place like this. But I can't deny convenience and this particular Starbucks is worth visiting even if you typically avoid generic coffee chains! The staff is fabulous and the atmosphere is always upbeat & happy. Every. Single. Day. They don't play dreary coffee shop music - it's disco or funk or something cool every time I'm in there, which is usually 5 or 6 times a week. I frequently order ahead on the app and my drink is always ready before I get there so I can just grab it & go. And even though I always order the same drink no matter which Starbucks I go to...dare I say it tastes better when I get it here? Maybe that's just in my mind but I swear it's made with just a little more love. Keep up the great work you guys! read more

Quality Starbucks! What they do well: staff that is hired, has lots of compassion. They do what is right for the customer. They also are the only one with a lit fireplace. I see these negative reviews and they really make no sense. This particular Starbucks location is great! Tons of parking, easy access, friendly staff, and not to mention LOTS of tables and chairs and spots to sit for a while and get some work done. People complaining about being out of a certain syrup?! Gimme a break, what is the world coming to when your latte is just a little off. They guarantee satisfaction so if you hate your coffee with a different flavored syrup, get a refund. There are greater troubles in life than if your local coffee stop is temporarily out of a certain syrup. Phew okay, rant over. Anyway, I give it five stars! Been here numerous times and never had a particularly bad experience. Close to other retail and conveniently located on Bothell Way. #hurray for the bulletin board with local stuff going on and different local services and offers. Way to go! They were out of some key flavors (not their fault) The drink took triple the time it normally takes even though it was just me and another person waiting I asked for extra drizzle, didn't get it, instead got extra syrup, I think this is because of the nervous cashier who sped past this request and didn't clarify. Looks like I'm breaking my rule of never giving the naked mermaid more than 3 stars. When did the memo get released that baristas either have to be: A. Corporate drones B. Hipster at organic shops C. I can honestly say that this is hands down the nicest team of baristas that don't dress like hookers and pretend to be nice for a $5 tip on horrible coffee. The staff here is so bloody friendly it makes my otherwise grey heart grow 3 times in size... Or was that the grinch? But I digress. I spend a good amount of time visiting this locale. From the cashier to the bloke making my drink, it's evident that the manager trains this staff to have good customer service. A relatively good location serving as your pit stop for your daily dose of Seattle-coffee. This one scores right at the fiftieth percentile of standard distribution curve. Orders were made, debit cards were swiped, and beverages were delivered to my vehicle. One could argue that because it's at the fiftieth percent that the service was classic Starbucks customer service, which I assess is always a good one. read more

6:00 AM music blasting. I ask the male barista if he could please turn it down and his response was that the music is a feed from the home office and he can't control the volume. I aske him to speak up, I can't hear him, and he mocks me by saying he can't here me. I find a more quite corner to have a conversation with my friend, but still need to raise voices to be heard. I just visited this place and the woman (Alex) was not very nice. She was incredibly sassy and I did not appreciate her attitude and lack of care to me and my friend. Then her and 2 other Co workers of her started critiquing people on a magazine cover and laughing at them. Ironic because they were all wearing pride pins. The only lady not involved, her name started with an F. She made our $6 drinks and was not involved in any of the poor behavior displayed. So I went here and got a chai and I was a little shocked on what I experienced. Firstly after I ordering my Chai, I was watching the barista making my drink (I work at a starbucks and usually watch just to learn more and to make sure my drinks getting made right) The barista made a drink prior to mine, and after pouring the milk in the other persons cup, the barista took the SAME pitcher and cross contaminated the milk, and steamed my milk in the same pitch he used for the previous guy. I was just so shocked, I mean it may not seem like a big deal, but nothing was being sanitized, plus the my drink wasn't made right at all. And 2% milk is a little hard on my tummy, that's why I get Non fat milk, and I could taste 2% in my chai, and ended up having a tummy ache. read more

This is "my" Starbucks so I am partial to it and the people who work there. This location has seen a lot of construction in the past year. Both to update the store itself (looks great!) and now to the surrounding shopping mall. All during that time the employees have maintained their standards of service. Even when they were housed in what was basically a trailer! In my experience the employees are always friendly and fun to chat with. Whenever there are long lines they always make an effort to apologize. The food and drinks I order are consistently good. We also really appreciate their offers of treats for our dogs! read more

I have been going to this Starbucks 4-5 times a week for 3 years now. Everyone here makes an effort to remember who you are, which makes the experience more personal. As someone who also has to remember names of customers at their job (while also in a retail setting), this is always appreciated. In 3 years, I would say I've maybe had my order come to me incorrect 3 times? Out of over 1,000 orders, I'd say that's really good. So I don't know where all these negative reviews come from. Besides, like any Starbucks, they'll let you keep the wrong order and make you a new one pronto. I suppose people are more likely to voice a negative opinion of one experience, rather than a multitude of experiences as a whole. This is for Oct. 3 around 6pm. The barista was great, but the counter clerk (short reddish hair) was offhand and clearly could not have cared less. She kept turning her back to me while I ordered one food item and one drink, one of which was to be free (from earned rewards)...when I saw my receipt, I told her she hadn't given me my free item. Her reply: "You didn't tell me." I didn't argue but said, I told you but it must have been too noisy. I gave her the benefit of the doubt up to then, but no more benefit of that when instead of offering to credit an item, she turned her back again and walked farther away. I said I'd use my freebie elsewhere. No response. I will definitely not be using my freebie or spending my money there again. There are times when the easiest option is SBUX. That said, drive a little farther because this location is sorely lacking. The drive-through was exceedingly slow and when I reached the window, attempting my "I-can-commiserate-with-you" conversation, I was met with grouchy frostiness.
