The inside is fairly large with plenty of seating, and they also have dine in plates and drink ware, so you can have your meal on a glass plate and drink in a glass cup if you dine in. I also had a great customer experience with the barista Jon - they were out of stock after I ordered the falafel pocket and he replaced it with another item for me and provided me a small gift card as well. Excellent customer service and thanks to you Jon. Highly recommend this location for great and quick friendly service. read more

Had a very positive experience with this store. Specifically John. The workers were polite and engaging. You don't always get this treatment at grocery/ target locations. My barista John helped me with my birthday drink. Normally you have the day before the day of the day after to get your drink, but apparently now you can only get it the day of. He was great. Got a dragon drink and I was very happy. John did a great job and Starbucks is lucky to have him, and the rest of the crew at this location. read more

I'm going to add in a recent and positive review to this Starbucks!! I went here throughout my entire pregnancy trying to make my favorite drinks decaf & they helped me so much with that. Not to mention they were patient with me while my mom brain developed and forgot the word for espresso!! I have a Starbucks down the street from me but I still drive 10 minutes to this one because I always have success with how I like my drinks. The only thing I would change would be the layout of the drive thru/parking situation cuz it can get awkward sometimes BUT I'm sure the employees feel the same way! read more

I want to like this location. I really do. They used to be kitty corner to where they are now. Big location. Lots of parking. NOT ANYMORE! There are limited parking spaces. Half the time I come here there are no places to park and you can see folks parking across the way in the Walgreens parking lot. Absolutely ridiculous. Parking is extremely limited and the lot is very Small's just waiting for an accident to happen. The place is hard to find or even enter if you do not approach it from the right direction. While the inside of this location is great and spacious the outside is a disaster. Whoever decided that this location would work must have no experience in designing an effective traffic flow let alone sufficient parking. The parking spaces are very limited and once employees have parked it is rare to come here and find more than one parking space open. The drive through line actually prevents easy egress from parking if there is even three cars in line. This parking/drive trough layout could not be better designed as the physical size of the property was from the outset way to small for the planned business. This Starbucks needs to be closed! Whomever designed the building/logistics didn't know what they were doing. There is minimal parking so the staff have to take several of the spaces. The drive through line blocks the regular parking and customers end up parking in the Walgreens across he street. They were parking down the residential street until the neighbors protested and that section was made a one-way, prohibiting access to the Starbucks customers. The workers leave the garbage around the dumpster when it is full and during windy storms, it has made its way to the culverts, blocking the flow of water and causing back-ups and flooding. The corporation and owner should be ashamed as well as the idiots who approved the zoning. I hear the service and the staff are okay but I will never know because I boycotted that business long ago! Came for some study space and fresh brewed coffee. Unbelievably terrible service yet again. Unsure why I want to believe in this place.

This location is horrible, for some reason their frappe machines are supposedly always down around 7pm. Starting to remind of McDonald's when they lie saying their ice cream machines are down at a certain time of the day. The store closes at 8pm that means everything should still be on until that time. They need an entire new staff in that building. read more

I wish I could go lower than one star cuz this place is not managed well. Always extremely slow even though there's five or six people working drive-thru so when you go inside u usually wait a good 5 minutes before even being asked to place your order. It seems like they keep this location minimally supplied so good luck if you need something from there specialty menu. Especially Nitro cold brew as the last four times I've come to this location it's been unavailable. I am more than happy to drive to Highland Park or Deerfield locations for the drink I love instead of an alternative option from this place that doesn't seem to have their stuff together. read more

The staff here is very rude. Aside from taking my order, they said no other words to us and kept looking back at us. We were the only ones there and it still took about 5 minutes to get the order and the drinks tasted horrible. I couldn't even finish mine and neither could my husband. This isn't the first time they messed up my drink but thought I'd give them another chance. If you can, go to the Libertyville Starbucks. Nice, friendly, and fun loving team working here. Very personable and interested in getting to know each customer. This is a newer Starbucks so very nice inside. Lots of tables so great place to study, read, or meet friends. Open at 4:30 am so ideal stop if your making an early morning run. This location has Starbucks Reserve which is rare one of the only in the area. Basically, there is a $11,000 specially calibrated machine that make coffee similar to a French Press. The upscale Reserve coffees come in many varieties and are described like fine wine. They are also known as clover and have a full aroma and flavor. I like the rich Colombian with Sumatra as a close 2nd. Not for the feint at heart! It's a little extra but worth the price. The main thing that keeps me coming back is the people. They are some of the best so leave them your change or flip them a tip for their hard work. read more

If you're familiar with the area, Starbucks used to be at a corner location next to Dominick's (now Heinen's). In late 2014 they moved not that far to this current location on rt 43 Waukegan Road so they could have a drive thru. Now please heed my warning. There are some Starbucks where you go in and write the next best American novel, and there are some where you just stop by to pick up a coffee. I highly highly recommend just using the drive thru for this one. Right off the busy street you're met with the tiny, tight lot. 16 parking spots is all you get. Which may sound a lot but because many get taken up by the staff or lingering customers along with the lot being very very small, it could be a big hassle to park. If you're brave and don't mind all that frustration, the inside is a little roomy and comfortable. The staff here are very friendly. Never had someone be rude or get my order wrong. Longest time I've waited at the drive thru? Probably about 5 minutes. Sometimes it's busy simply due to the fact that this is the nearest Starbucks with drive thru service. I especially like the hours. 4:30am-10:00 Monday through Saturday and 5am-9pm on Sunday. Coffee later than 5pm may seem like a bad idea but I've been caught in that terrible situation where I need to work late or get a head start on that weekend trip at night. Having a Starbucks that's open until 10 is a fantastic option. I really like this Starbucks. Only knocking off a star for it being a tough spot to turn into and the fact that going inside isn't always the best option. read more

If you're in a rush this is not the Starbucks for You.. It is alway busy, which isn't a problem to me. But my drink is good about half the time Ans bad about half the time. Very inconsistent.. Last week I ordered my husband a pumpkin spice latte and surprised him with it (our first time getting one) and when I got home and gave it to him, he looked like he was going to gag. They gave him a black coffee with some pumpkin syrup in it... (We like our coffee, but definitely not plain) . Oh and mind you it was NATIONAL COFFEE DAY.. Such a disappointment. Typical. Nice, friendly staff. Inside is nicely appointed featuring the SB wooden chairs that dissuade lingering. Cappuccino was steamed too hot and the espresso's prominent feature is a faint char. Foam was way too airy and not infused with the espresso crema that should be flavorful. This is because the barista's hands are tied by the super automatic vending machines here and not the beautiful, trustworthy machines for skilled baristas they used to have. This location is so congested and there's a group of parking spaces where you are blocked in by the drive thru line. This has to be a fire or safety hazard! There were a couple of times when I had to completely go through the drive thru without ordering because I got stuck in the line while looking for a parking space and there's no way out. Honestly I was much happier when they were in their old location by Panera. There was plenty of parking! The staff has always been pleasant so this review is not about them but really about the congested parking and drive thru conditions. read more

Quite possibly the worst Starbucks I have ever visited. New location. Who designed the parking lot? Not enough room, and worst of all, the Drive Thru line blocks all parked cars from moving. I think it is criminal that Starbucks charges an extra 75 cents to make a latte with half and half (breve) vs just their milk. The small pumpkin latte should be 3.75 and i was charged 4.75 (with tax) because i asked for it to be with half and half instead of skim milk. This place is a rip off.
