The local Starbucks on Island Avenue is a model of consistency and quality in the Starbucks chain. I travel quite a bit and this Starbucks has the lowest instances of errors and the highest consistency that I've experienced at the Starbucks chain. Also, the staff is exceedingly friendly and even has learned my name at this point, which hasn't happened at any of the other Starbucks-type places (Drive through coffee shops) in the area, despite the fact that I frequent them as well, being a caffeine addict of the highest degree! read more

Worst ever. Won't be back. We went inside to order. At LEAST 10 vehicles drove thru and got orders while we stood in lobby. When we finally got our drinks, we asked about the cranberry bar we purchased, and the barista rudely said that's not my job and pointed to the other girls standing around. Cranberry bar was good. read more

absolutely the worst Starbucks experience ever. we were waiting over 20 minutes for a simple large iced coffee. it's absolutely terribl.

by far the worst experience at a starbucks, thank you megan! first off we had trouble getting a birthday drink added to the app and i've had other places just comp it but the lady helping us didn't seem to care. we had ordered a drip coffee and latte, only the latte had my name on it which wasn't even called out, just sitting there. i went up and grabbed both that's when MEGAN said don't grab a drink that's not mine or doesnt have my name on it so i waited longer, i let her know we were waiting on a drip coffee and she rudely said "it's right there next to where your latte was"... after she literally said not to touch it??? read more

Some Starbucks locations are meh. Others, like this one, are great. Stopped in on my way back to central Washington for Christmas and got a dash of iced Caffe Mocha to keep me going in the afternoon. Standard Starbucks coffee, decent flavor, but the employees were extremely nice. A young lady asked me where I was going and wished me a safe trip. That's customer service right there! I'll be back whenever I head west. read more

After standing at counter being ignored while gal took care of 3 drive thru customers...a Rude guy with glasses ... agitated and cuts me off while ordering bc I didn't tell him what I wanted in the correct order rather than helping me with my order.... I'm all done with Starbucks as this is not the first rude barista or Starbucks it has happened.... read more

Starbuck's politics are pathetic. They're coffee just is not dat good. And, a palooka have ta rob a bank to buy a cup. I'll get a cuppa mud somewhere, somewhere else. read more

Awesome staff, fast service and a good drink. Look forward to stopping by this Starbucks whenever I am in town.

The lady making my drink wiped her nose then touched my cup and finished making my drink. How gross! Also if they're going to advertise delicious sandwiches then they should look and taste like the photo. read more

Stand-alone and right at freeway exit for easy access with friendly staff and orderly process. It gets slammed at lunch time for drive through and take away. Limited seating inside but a big hooray that much of it is standard height. Clean loo, two uni-sex, too. All is ADA compliant including parking lot. Tip for travelers: Chevron station across street. read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - La Grande, Oregon

Rude and slow. I asked for a regular splash of half and half, and my espresso is now white. Almost went to Dutch Bros...and it seems like I should've. read more

Starbucks - This should be a Starbucks double shot with a *regular* splash of half and half. Gross. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - La Grande, Oregon

On my way to Portland I decided to stop for Gas and Coffee. So, Oregon is one of the states you cant pump your own gas. So, here's the story I stopped for gas..and yes I didn't have to get out of the car. Then still being lazy I stopped at a drive thru Starbucks. The staff was really friendly. The Barista noticed my car all packed up and asked where are you coming from and where are you going? then noticed my little doggie and asked if I wanted a treat for him. Now that's service! Take care of me and my dog. I hate to say this but my Iced Cafe Latte was so-so. But service was awesome so I'll be back... this time before driving off into the sunset I'll take a sip first...incase I need to change the drink. read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - La Grande, Oregon

Is it wrong that I visit far too many Starbucks in any given month? Well, this is another regular stop, and was one I visited daily last year for a couple of months while working in La Grande. I wasn't a yelper then, but now that I am, I want it known that this Starbucks is an excellent place to stop at. Service is always great, coffee is always excellent, and these two combined will bring you back again and again. read more

What a pleasant way to start a morning, the fact that I was greeted when I got there and left may seem small but it was genuine and impactful. Shout out to Megan (I think that was her name) and thank you for sprinkling joy on my coffee and day! read more

Normally, I would give this Starbucks a high rating, but today with Matt taking orders, it was very disappointing. Maybe something was bothering him, but he sure had poor customer service skills. Get Tyrone back up front. read more

Not sure if unsophisticated staff is just ignorant, or stupid. Leaning towards stupid. I have an accent and staff seemed to enjoy mocking me. It seemed like middle school behaviour, but in a malicious tone. Shocking! Dutch Bros. has better coffee and their staff rates a 10! read more

Felt like I needed a little caffeine boost on the last 150 miles of my trip. Next thing I know, I'm in LaGrande where my favorite Starbucks is located!!! Yay!!!! read more

Staff was friendly but lattes were horrible. Ordered two lattes, nothing fancy. They were both watery and flavorless. Unfortunately we were back on the road score we tasted them. My advice is to taste before leaving the premises. Headquarters needs to come do a quality control soon. read more

This is a must stop every year on our way in and out of Hood River, OR. Your typical Starbuck, clean and nice. -1 star because they put a purse hanger on the bathroom door that is at elbow level. I have a gigantic bruise still after a week. read more

Cute little stand alone store next to the highway with friendly service and clean restrooms. No Top Pot doughnuts, but a nice transition to the non-Seattle coffee world. read more

I love our la grande Starbucks!! It's probably the fastest Starbucks you'll ever go to. Tyrone has the best customer service, always a smile on his face! I would recommend this Starbucks if you are passing through our little town! read more

We stopped on a Saturday morning. Bathrooms were clean, greeted immediately when we entered. Tyrone was super friendly and other staff too. Will make this a regular stop for sure! read more

My guilty pleasure is an extra dry cappuccino! It's usually an expensive drink that I don't treat myself to often i ordered one here today and I must say it was awful! I make a point to say, no milk, all foam but this was more like a latte and felt very heavy, not at all like one should feel. I asked the barista if she put in milk, she denied but offered to make me another begrudgingly... I declined( she was busy)! Starbucks has been one of the only places I can get my "drink" and I am very disappointed in this interaction! I couldn't even taste the shots of espresso! Other than this... Service was good! My expensive drink went in the garbage!!! Order: Tall ExtraDry nonfat Cappuccino no milk. 2shots (half caf). 1 splenda. read more

Grabbed some coffee on the way back to Seattle after having to stay the night in La Grande. For some reason this was the best tasting Starbucks I've EVER had. The guy at the drive thru was SUPER friendly and the service was fast. read more

It's hard to disappoint me with Starbucks but this place was seriously below average. Crowded, loud music, staff seemed stressed, other customers had poor social social skills, my drink was 3/4 ice because the barista didn't use enough milk. I went in with a cup full of granola trying to steal some skim milk for it but all they had was half and half available, so I had to suffer through eating my cereal floating in half and half- unwanted extra calories that my slender frame can't bear to consume. Avoid this place. read more

Nice people, free wifi, and easy access. The best part of this starbucks is the people. I have been going to this Starbucks since its opening. The majority of the staff are the same as when it opened. Some have become great friends! It would be a five star for me but there is a few things that would make it better. The sitting area is not comfortable, the temperature is to cool, and the music is too loud. (Even if they fixed the last two I would rate it a five star the staff is soo GOOD!) read more

There is one worker that is always there (old, white hair, glasses) very rude. He is nothing butt rude every time I have went to this location. He doesn't have a problem telling you (very rudely) what he think. I DO NOT recommend this starbucks location read more

Went inside to order and the employees had horrible customer service and were very rude employees.

This is a great place to stop for clean restrooms and a refreshing drink in the middle of nowhere. It is an oasis and we make the stop every time. Minus one star for atrocious wi-fi. That being said, it is free. The drinks are consistently good (though not surprising because it is a Starbucks). We will probably be back! read more

I've had the pleasure of stopping at this Starbucks several times on my trips to La Grande. They have a friendly staff. The coffee is great. The seating is comfortable with free wifi. It's a nice and peaceful coffee shop to sit and enjoy your coffee. It is very clean too. read more

We often stop here when coming through this town on the way to Idaho. This is a great stop for us as we have come up from Pendleton over the pass. This is a good restroom break for us. I think I always buy a cup or mug here. read more

it was very expensive and didn't have half the stuff on their menu and the lady talked the whole time instead of working

Went in with coupon for coffee - told it was not accepted after being accepted in the past - coupon is legitimate and accepted elsewhere with no problem. The owner needs to work on his customer service, second time I've had a problem with this individual to the point I will take my business to the other Starbucks in town. The workers are wonderful - its the owner whose attitude needs adjustment. read more

It was a nice little Starbucks. The layout felt a little backward when I walked in, I wasn't greeted and not one employee smiled while I was there. They all had headphones on and talked to each other through them instead of face to face. They are in the same tiny room! I also had to ask for half n half to be refilled and I felt like I was asking a huge favor. And I got house coffee and it was on the bitter side. read more

Tyrone is a rock star! I don't live in La Grande and it's been a month since I've been in and he remembered my name! I don't ever get the same thing, but he remembers what people usually get.. nice guy great service!! read more

They may have misplaced the recipe for making good coffee. I like Starbucks so can recognize a problem. This time the service was efficient. Generally the chain can be relied upon for a quality product but this is a remote location. read more
