by far the worst experience at a starbucks, thank you megan! first off we had trouble getting a birthday drink added to the app and i've had other places just comp it but the lady helping us didn't seem to care. we had ordered a drip coffee and latte, only the latte had my name on it which wasn't even called out, just sitting there. i went up and grabbed both that's when MEGAN said don't grab a drink that's not mine or doesnt have my name on it so i waited longer, i let her know we were waiting on a drip coffee and she rudely said "it's right there next to where your latte was"... after she literally said not to touch it??? read more

Some Starbucks locations are meh. Others, like this one, are great. Stopped in on my way back to central Washington for Christmas and got a dash of iced Caffe Mocha to keep me going in the afternoon. Standard Starbucks coffee, decent flavor, but the employees were extremely nice. A young lady asked me where I was going and wished me a safe trip. That's customer service right there! The local Starbucks on Island Avenue is a model of consistency and quality in the Starbucks chain. I travel quite a bit and this Starbucks has the lowest instances of errors and the highest consistency that I've experienced at the Starbucks chain. Also, the staff is exceedingly friendly and even has learned my name at this point, which hasn't happened at any of the other Starbucks-type places (Drive through coffee shops) in the area, despite the fact that I frequent them as well, being a caffeine addict of the highest degree! read more

Stand-alone and right at freeway exit for easy access with friendly staff and orderly process. It gets slammed at lunch time for drive through and take away. Limited seating inside but a big hooray that much of it is standard height. Clean loo, two uni-sex, too. All is ADA compliant including parking lot. On my way to Portland I decided to stop for Gas and Coffee. So, Oregon is one of the states you cant pump your own gas. So, here's the story I stopped for gas..and yes I didn't have to get out of the car. Then still being lazy I stopped at a drive thru Starbucks. The staff was really friendly. The Barista noticed my car all packed up and asked where are you coming from and where are you going? then noticed my little doggie and asked if I wanted a treat for him. Now that's service! Take care of me and my dog. I hate to say this but my Iced Cafe Latte was so-so. But service was awesome so I'll be back... this time before driving off into the sunset I'll take a sip first...incase I need to change the drink. read more

Is it wrong that I visit far too many Starbucks in any given month? Well, this is another regular stop, and was one I visited daily last year for a couple of months while working in La Grande. I wasn't a yelper then, but now that I am, I want it known that this Starbucks is an excellent place to stop at. Staff was friendly but lattes were horrible. Ordered two lattes, nothing fancy. They were both watery and flavorless. Unfortunately we were back on the road score we tasted them. My advice is to taste before leaving the premises. Headquarters needs to come do a quality control soon. read more

My guilty pleasure is an extra dry cappuccino! It's usually an expensive drink that I don't treat myself to often i ordered one here today and I must say it was awful! I make a point to say, no milk, all foam but this was more like a latte and felt very heavy, not at all like one should feel. I asked the barista if she put in milk, she denied but offered to make me another begrudgingly... I declined( she was busy)! Starbucks has been one of the only places I can get my "drink" and I am very disappointed in this interaction! I couldn't even taste the shots of espresso! Other than this... Service was good! It's hard to disappoint me with Starbucks but this place was seriously below average. Crowded, loud music, staff seemed stressed, other customers had poor social social skills, my drink was 3/4 ice because the barista didn't use enough milk. I went in with a cup full of granola trying to steal some skim milk for it but all they had was half and half available, so I had to suffer through eating my cereal floating in half and half- unwanted extra calories that my slender frame can't bear to consume. Nice people, free wifi, and easy access. The best part of this starbucks is the people. I have been going to this Starbucks since its opening. The majority of the staff are the same as when it opened. Some have become great friends! It would be a five star for me but there is a few things that would make it better. The sitting area is not comfortable, the temperature is to cool, and the music is too loud. (Even if they fixed the last two I would rate it a five star the staff is soo GOOD!) read more

This is a great place to stop for clean restrooms and a refreshing drink in the middle of nowhere. It is an oasis and we make the stop every time. Minus one star for atrocious wi-fi. That being said, it is free. The drinks are consistently good (though not surprising because it is a Starbucks). We will probably be back! read more

I've had the pleasure of stopping at this Starbucks several times on my trips to La Grande. They have a friendly staff. The coffee is great. The seating is comfortable with free wifi. It's a nice and peaceful coffee shop to sit and enjoy your coffee. It is very clean too. read more

Went in with coupon for coffee - told it was not accepted after being accepted in the past - coupon is legitimate and accepted elsewhere with no problem. The owner needs to work on his customer service, second time I've had a problem with this individual to the point I will take my business to the other Starbucks in town. It was a nice little Starbucks. The layout felt a little backward when I walked in, I wasn't greeted and not one employee smiled while I was there. They all had headphones on and talked to each other through them instead of face to face. They are in the same tiny room!
