I am not a racist, when when I'm dealing with support I want them to be easily understandable, and for them to understand me. They were obviously reading from a script, and did not listen to my issue. After a lot of frustrating "conversation", I hung up and called back. The same thing happened with the second support person I got in contract with. Their accent was so strong I could not understand them, and they could not understand me. I am no longer dealing with this company. I understand outsourcing support issues, but companies need to employ support personnel that are proficient in English if they're doing busines with the USA (or Canada, UK, etc). The worst part was when I reported this issue to Kourig I got absolutely no response, good or bad (perhaps they didn't understand my English). In any case, I will no longer support a company that cannot support me.

That's when Leticia Fernandez came up to me and said I had to buy something then and I was being rude (I had literally only been in there for 5 minutes). She scoffed at me saying "some people have way more" She then said she saw me eating sushi from Publix once there (let me tell you this was on their patio for 5 minutes max and no one was out there and it's a public space) Being in a college area where UTK students find places to sit and study should be expected and when I've literally spent so much money on their overpriced coffee there I would expect to be treated with respect. Well now I have no respect for this business and lady it was not me being rude it was you. If I you as a customer are not wanting to get berated and called rude by a passive aggressive money hungry lady then do not go here. Do not support Leticia Fernandez's business because she is a greedy owner. It wasn't as sweet as I expected (like if you order at Starbucks for eg) but the ambiance inside is excellent - they have tables and regular chairs but also couches and big soft chairs. I sat in a big soft chair and was very comfortable! They also have two clean bathrooms, i changed in there after hiking. There weren't enough hanging pegs but they were spacious so still good enough. The staff up front were quick and helpful! No trouble there. And there were a decent number of parking spots out back - that said, by the time I left, the lot was completely full. Not sure where else you could park in the area. Overall, if passing and needing a rest I would rec this spot! But I would try ordering something else besides a London fog ;)

The almond was good but maybe a tad over baked. It didn't have that tender flakiness I expected of a croissant. Flavorful yes and still worth a try. Next up was the lemon filled croissant. OMG!!! this was perfection in a pastry. Tender flaky and just the right amount of the filling. The filling was sweet and tart but in an addictive way. I wanted to go back and buy several more it was that good. If all the other fruit filled croissants are like the lemon, you won't be disappointed. They have a varón options including coffee. We skipped coffee since we had another place picked for coffee. If you're in Knoxville give this place a try. I'm sure you will find a delicious option you'll love. They also stated I phone stalked the owner over a $40 item. Of course I wanted to speak with the owner to let her know about this situation. Apparently I know now why no one ever responded because they stated it was just a $40 item, I think this small business is missing the concept of a happy customer no matter what they spend. It might had been only $40 but it was my child's senior dance which only comes once in a lifetime. If I had only known their morals stopped at the $ I would have gone elsewhere. Their response speaks volume!
