After placing an online order when the order ahead service wasn't working (I needed coffee so bad I didn't notice!), I went inside to pick up my order. I waited almost 20 minutes before asking about my order bc they were so busy. That's when the team member Abe told me order ahead for the store had not been on all morning. and that my order has probably been sent to the Starbucks across the freeway. He asked what I had ordered and got right on making it. Abe and Seely were both awesome! As soon as I let Abe know what I had done, they made MY mistake right ~within minutes. Since the order was sent automatically to a nearby store, they didn't even charge me. The customer service and coffee were both exceptional. Let me start by saying, our family enjoys Starbucks on a regular basis both in stores and at home. To us, we appreciate the and great taste and great service which at Starbucks goes hand in hand. Yet we Yelp, when something or someone stands out with excellence beyond the norm. At this particular location Nick (manager) Justin (at the register) and Jenna (making the drinks) all provided amazing service and very tasty drinks, and a feeling of neighborhood community that really stood out. This Starbucks has a teeny wittle bitty parking lot it has to share with a nail salon and a frozen yogurt place. Add in the long coiling snake of cars in the Starbucks drive thru, and you've got a bonafide traffic jam. However, this location prioritizes walk-in customers over the drive-thru, so if you manage to park and come inside (in my experience) you get your order in under 10 minutes. The inside of this location was clean and organized, if anything is a little more spacious than some S'bucks. Quick and easy.... if you can land a coveted parking spot. I've been to the Starbucks at least a dozen times. And I love having a Starbucks so close in this area! This Starbucks definitely has your typical wait times! For sure, every weekday around 845 through about 9:30 AM, you cannot not expect a wait in the drive-through, let alone inside. During the school year, Thursday mornings are even longer, because seniors have had the morning off in the past. Or, it was late arrival or something. As far as service, they're doing their best with the amount of people coming in this area. You have to understand that if there is only one Starbucks in an extremely rapidly growing area, you have to expect to wait. I believe that they've gotten my order 99% of the time correct. I also like the fact that, even if I'm a drive through regular, they already know my order! They're very pleasant, friendly, and I have never once had to complain about their service. And by the way, I am a very difficult customer, because I am too lazy to go inside and look at all of their food items. So, extra props for the effort and looking through all of the food items and having to deal with wishy-washy customers! read more

Every time I come here the wait is unreal, the coffee is sometimes great and other times I can't even drink it! The manager always fixes any issues, however when paying almost 7 dollars for a cup or coffee there shouldn't be so many issues. Just picked up a grande chai tea latte. It tastes like burnt coffee & no chai. Gross. $5.50 for a drink I'm going to throw out. While I'm sure they would have remade it, I was five minutes down the road before it was cool enough to take a sip. I don't wait around to check and make sure it tastes acceptable. I guess I should have done so. This is not the first time that I've received a terrible drink from this location. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes. This place makes noticeable mistakes quite often. I know Starbucks is Starbucks and that's all you can say about it, but I have to warn people about this location. For some reason, I have noticed that the Starbucks on Northpark is always running out of things before midday. Not only food items, which is understandable, but drink items. I've gone twice now for a salted caramel latte and I've been told they've run out of the "salt". Peppermint mocha? We don't have the correct syrups. I get that they are only one of two drive-thru locations in Kingwood which essentially makes them super busy, but I've had to now change my coffee order twice because they were out of what I had wanted. Don't expect to be able to buy breakfast options after 9:30, usually they run out of half of the sandwiches before then. The buyer for this Starbucks either needs to order more, or go back to the drawing board and see what they need to keep in stock. read more

went there on a sunday @5pm. There were at least 5 cars in front of us at the drive thru. We did not move for a good 8 minutes, then only moved because 2 cars in front left probably tired of waiting. After waiting for over 10 minutes at the drive thru, we got our order! yay. I did notice the barista were too busy chatting with each other and taking their sweet time to pause and talk "to each other" not the customers. Maybe they need to hire some who are more focused on customer service and not on getting a date with the barista. read more

My go-to morning coffee and latte. They are very nice here and I am always greeted with a smile and no sass with a specialty or complicated order. You know, sometimes I just want a small bit of frothed milk instead of half the drink, and they happily oblige. They are quick and though the drive-thru line may be long its quick moving. I also love their protein boxes and get one a week(ish). My kids love getting cake pops or the new mini sized frappuccino which they make for kids, sans coffee. read more

I usually have a great experience until this morning. I ordered a matcha frappe with peppermint syrup as a mobile order. When I got there I saw the employee Deshawn making my order but it was odd because it looked my order was already done (as it was my cup with whipped creme on top) but he threw it back into the pictcher and added a syrup. I'm guessing he forgot the peppermint. So instead of making a new one, he threw the already made one back into the blender (whipped creme and all) and then poured it into the same cup and added more whipped creme on top. I wouldn't complain but my drink tasted like only whipped creme because about less than half my cup was my matcha and the rest was brand new whipped creme. I didn't want to confront him as I'm not confrontational but for this being a $6 drink... What a waste of my money :( read more

Coffee is fine, but I went this morning and was the only person in line. I counted 7 people behind the counter and it took them a solid 2 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. Granted 4 of them were working pretty hard, the 2 by the drive thru were busy flirting, all of them saw me and no one said even a hello or "we'll be right with you". I ordered a green tea latte and they're supposed to ask if I want it sweet. They didn't. Luckily they made it how I like it. For me, my Starbucks experience is all about how the baristas treat their customers, and a little about the quality of coffee.
