I wish I didn't love Starbucks. Their prices are insane but they really do have some thing magical and their drinks. Somehow I keep coming back even though my latte is now $7.49. Yikes. Not only is the latte good, but their bakery items are bomb and so are their egg bites. They also do sandwiches and snack foods, and somehow it all tastes pretty good. So my advice to you is don't get started because this addiction is costly. But if you already have an affinity for Starbucks, make sure you put their app on your phone. If you load your app, you can get two stars per dollar. When you hit 200 stars, you get a free drink. You feel so special until you're reminded that it cost you $200 to get there. Haha. Well, take advantage of extra bonus stars, which comes somewhat frequently. It's the little things like buy two egg bites before 11 AM and get thirty stars or something like that. Every little bit helps, Trust me! Be careful what time you go because the lines can be long. You can do mobile orders, which is a nice easy and convenient method to get your stuff quickly. My boyfriend got me an espresso maker and although I really like it, I have to admit it's still doesn't compare with my Starbucks latte, one of my guilty life pleasures! read more

Excellent service this morning! A great place to stop to get caffeinated especially if you're coming to or from Emory Hospital up the road! I have been to a few Starbucks in metro ATL and even though I've only been to this location once, I think I'd rather come here than a few other locations I could list. There were no other cars in the drive-thru when I pulled up just before 830am on this Black Friday. Service was quick and friendly. I got a Vanilla Sweet Cream Nitro Cold Brew and a Bacon Egg and Gouda sandwich just to give me some energy on my drive home from the hospital. I'll be back! This Starbucks is pretty low-key and you'll know exactly why once you step into this store. Located right across the Johns Creek hmart, this Starbucks is in a strip mall outside of a townhouse neighborhood (my former residence) and this is a TMI - but it opened right after my family moved out of there! This location is pretty slow for a Starbucks and that's why I like to come here -- you won't be able to find seating because there is literally only one high-top here and it's pretty much a grab n' go kinda place. But maybe that's why it's never that packed. The service here I receive is always exemplary and I am able to be in and out quickly whenever I'm at this location. I would give it 5 stars but it really does hurt that the seating here is pretty limited. I just wish there were a few tables here and there.... but I'll live. read more

The drinks are good and the staff is good. They are friendly but there seems to be a pretty high staff turnover here. This location is pretty small but has cool artwork on the wall. Wish they had more tables available to hang out and work. Also, it would be nice if there was enough room for some outside seating. My main gripe here though is that this Starbucks location closes waaaaaaaay too early. It's odd too because the Starbucks door closes at 7 pm but their drive thru stays open 30 min longer. What's up with that? I've never heard of different closing hours depending on where you place your order from. This location closes at 7 pm inside and 7:30 pm in the drive thru every day. Never heard of a Starbucks closing this early every day until this location started doing that. Also, love how they used to have a plant (Charlie) on the drive thru counter but Charlie is gone. Don't get me wrong. The services are excellent! People who work there are so friendly. BUT for the past few days, I noticed that their Frappuccino tastes like water and ice. The whole cup looks like shaved ice with a bit of LIGHT coffee and whipped cream. The first time I had the "modified" frappe, I was like "ok, maybe they ran out of certain ingredients or barista was having a rough day." People make mistakes. That's fine. The second time I ordered two caramel Frappuccinos. Both of them still taste like shaved ice. No sure what's going on with their location or is this a new thing for Starbucks in general?! Very uninviting atmosphere. Not typical for this franchise. Feels somewhat dirty and cold. Staff is ok, not friendly not mean just mediocre. The drink was perfect and tasted great though. This Starbucks needs some help. It feels like a forgotten Target Starbucks that the district manager has never visited. Pro: the employees are nice and I'm sure they mean well BUT - this is the Starbucks closest to my home and I'll drive to another location a few miles away to avoid this one. I've been 3 times and each one was kinda bad. Comical bad. For example, my last visit (yesterday) I ordered a latte. After driving off, I tried it and noticed something funny. When I got to a stop light I looked and my latte had whipped cream on it...ummm WTF?! Light turned green so I put the lid back on and drove on while shaking my head. At the next light I opened it up to try to remove the whipped cream, but it had already melted into the latte revealing that they'd filled my grande cup about 2/3 of the way. I'm sure the barista didn't steam enough milk and instead of redoing it she just added a shit-ton of whipped cream to "fill it up". I couldn't do anything but laugh, but I was pretty annoyed. If I hadn't gotten so far I would have taken it back. I should have done that anyway. read more

I come here almost every morning for the SAME coffee(salted cream cold foam cold brew) and EVERYTIME they make it wrong. This is the only location that screws it up this much but it's the closest one to my house and they got it right maybe twice. Every other Starbucks I go to gets it perfect. One time I had to park and go inside to get my drink fixed and the barista made it wrong again. At that point I just left with a bad coffee. I had to wait over 20 minutes while customers in the drive thru and customers that came in the store after me received their drinks. When I received one of the drinks it was made incorrectly but was fixed. Finally because I had been waiting for so long I did get asked for my order again and it was filled in due time.
