Still a steady 3 stars. The parking lot here is a nightmare. You have to enter through the Full Moon BBQ parking lot to get to the drive thru and it's very tight. Traffic gets backed up and difficult for people who parked to exit.

Came in for a quick hot chocolate and coffee after Tinsel Trail. We did not wait long and the service was fairly quick. The store is like most other Starbucks, nothing made them stand out from others. Good for a quick warm up but not great coffee or hot chocolate.

the drive thru is so insanely slow, it's ridiculous. I've waited 30 minutes to get my order.

The man at the drive thru was very rude to us, he made a gesture just because we ordered another drink.

Plan on waiting 20 minutes. They had 6 staff and were busy. Service always takes along time.

This place might be good if it was ever open. I feel like every time I've pulled up, the hours have changed.

Waited for over 30 minutes for 5 cars in front of me to be served. First time here. Hopefully this isn't normal.

So at 8 each of three mornings, I'm making a trek to each of three local coffee spots and will compare them. We do drip, so can't say anything about espresso brews or cold whatevers. Gold Sprint is first. It's at Lowe Mill, and looks, acts, and tastes like it: pretty artsy-ferny-handmade place with strong!, unusual, yet flavorful coffee served by eclectic and intense baristas. The store is clean, busy and comfortable. There are no stoppers for the go cup lids, so recommend either ordering "with room" or snagging an extra napkin to sop up spillage from your center console. The weekday I went they had a small selection of pastries as well. Gotta say the blueberry scones were about the best I've had outside the UK. Get that! Two 16-ounce coffees, two pastries, and a generous tip came to $20. Not bad. Quick comparison: Angel's Island had less interesting yet still strong and delicious brew, a more standard but much smaller inside space, ordinary-people baristas, a larger selection of good but not excellent pastries, and a drive-through. $20 for two 20-ounce cups and two pastries. And plugs for the cup lids so no slosh spillage. Clearly designed for the drive-by morning commuter, where Gold Sprint is aiming to capture your coffee-drinking butt for a little more time. Go to either one. You will be happy.

There is also outside seating area and seating in the back outside where some people bring their dogs. This is more of your lively coffee shop, more of a grab coffee with your friends or get items done on your to-do list, not a quiet study cafe. I didn't try the food, but it looked pretty good.

I walked in a little past 1pm, having studied the chalkboard outside with a delightful-sounding selection of spring specials. As I'm ordering, the barista and I alike see another group walk in. And another. And another-- I'm not seeing anyone else in the rather small physical establishment, and as a former barista am beginning to sweat a bit for this Greenroom employee and all of the orders he is about to have to deal with, seemingly by himself (cue the cheerful chime announcing more customers, and more customers). As I wait for my order, grateful to be the first in this long line, I sit to casually read a book and take my opportunity to observe my fellow patrons of this fine little spot. I hear the barista asking customers if they're okay with waiting, and he begins to ask customers if they're okay with waiting a minute for their orders. I'm content, as I have no urgent arrangements, and the now plastic-gloved barista comes up to me, informing me that they have no lime to garnish the avocado toast I've ordered and asking if that was okay. I assert as much and he returns to the line; I think to myself that he could have saved the time and not told me and I wouldn't have known the difference, but I'm pleased with his attention to detail. I get my to-go box of avocado toast with an egg and am pleased to open it and try a bite. I feel that it could have done with red pepper flakes (my favorite), but the everything bagel seasoning added a nice texture and the overall flavor profile was delightfully savory. As for my drink, which came later, it was the Good Riddance: a vanilla cold brew with lime pie cold foam (which lived up to the name tremendously). It also had what I believe to be graham cracker or pie crust crumbles on the top that were delightful! The drink was delicious and perfect for the spring weather. I sit upstairs as I always do, but specifically on the patio where I can see all of MidCity and the surrounding businesses. There's nonintrusive and enjoyable music presumably coming from the Camp itself? After an hour or so of enjoying my spoils, I return to the counter below to see if the barista is still there now that the rush is over. He is now accompanied by another coworker, blessedly, and I learn that his name is Caleb. We chat for a few moments and I introduce myself before leaving, but not before taking another picture of all the event calendars for the week and month. Now I'm positively fueled for my afternoon and grateful for the relaxed atmosphere. (Thanks for reading this far if you did, and shoutout again to Caleb for doing his job tremendously! He informed me that he enjoys a good rush of customers, and I replied that I would have cried to have been in the situation that he handled with great poise and dedication. The great service alongside the excellent product left me wanting to return quickly!)

The coffee is competent and yummy; howEVER it's a little more expensive than other high-quality spots, in part because they sling brew in 12-ounce cups and we HAD to buy three for the two of us because we were doing takeout and 12 ounces is NOT enough. NO. I think they have free refills? so if you stay in, the price won't be so bad. Best part: they had blueberry bagels from Canadian Bakin. CANADIAN BAKIN, all y'all! Best bagels I've had outside of NYC, and better than some even there. Wonderfully chewy and just tough enough, like they're meant to be. Have them be toasted and apply cream cheese, then enjoy enjoy enJOY. Yeah, well, my wife, who's never been to NYC, said they were tough and chewy, not like Thomas bagels. What does she know? Our bill was $25 for three coffees, two bagels and two creams cheese. A little pricey compared to two other spots we also enjoyed greatly (Gold Sprint and Angel's Island), but still a good value. Parking was kind of meh, though. But you'll find a spot. Go there.

Eyelids getting heavy... Fifth impression. Lukewarm bagel finally arrives, definitely not as fresh as expected, something tastes like refrigerator, assuming it's the cream cheese. Final impression. A little disappointing. Get the coffee, skip the bagel, walk outside, let your eyes readjust to daylight. Hope you didn't get a parking ticket...
