I love Piper & Leaf and this was my first time at this location. I wanted to try the bubble tea and it did not disappoint!!! I got lemon Berry blush & their boba was cooked perfectly!

Can't recommend this spot enough! Super cozy environment with delicious tea. The staff is always welcoming and provides great recommendations. Definitely a must go to!

Really nice spot, everyone working there was friendly and knowledgeable. My wife really enjoyed their signature classic and they sweetened it to her desired level. I had a bubble tea, not the powdered style but steeped tea, milk and boba. Only thing I'd like to see happen is for them to cook the boba in honey and maybe cook them a bit longer. Not going to nitpick because they made the boba just for me, but being a bubble tea guru it needed honey and they were a bit too chewy. The art building is incredible, go inside and walk around while drinking a tea. You will not regret it.

Piper and Leaf converted me to drink more tea! I ordered the elderberry elixir warm with some sweetness and it was delicious! I've never had such flavorful tea! We also got the strawberry shindig frothed with oat milk and it tasted like lucky charms! It was so good! I crave more of their tea but I love so far away. Luckily I could order some online!

Briar patch brew: sweet and flavorful

Piper and Leaf is a family-owned tea company selling artisan tea. They have a lot of different flavors and I wish I had time to sample them all! I got their Briar Patch Brew in a mason jar. The mason jars are a cute souvenir from the experience. The tea itself was on the sweeter side but I really liked the flavor of the one that I bought. Their tea in the muslin bags would make a cute gift for a friend or family member. They sell gift sets that contain samples of each tea which are adorable. I will say that their tea is not cheap but it is good quality so it is worth the price. I hope I find myself back in Huntsville to try other flavors!

We were around the area and wanted something to quench our thirst. We noticed that there were bobas offered on Saturdays so we had to stop by to try. The place is very tiny and cozy. There was a lot of tea options and they also offered loose leaf teas to go. I liked the concept. I wished it really stood out as much as others have said. The teas have a distinct tasty flavor but did not go so well with boba. The boba was very lightly sweetened. The straw was a pain to suck the bobas through. We luckily had boba straws that we were able to switch when we got home. Like one of the reviews below stated, the amount of sweetness was just right but after the ice diluted it was very flavorless. We got the strawberry shindig and orchard peach tea. It was good but just not that memorable. The service I would say is very top notch. The barista gave us a lot of details when we asked questions and the process was very clean in the midst of corona.

My tea in front of the venue. Briar Patch Brew with Almond Milk and Boba

Very novel and tasty flavors to choose from. I got a briar patch tea with almond milk and boba. It's just the thing if you want a sweet kick. Everybody there was really friendly. Something I also noticed was their COVID-19 setup, everything was contactless: they didn't even touch my card and they had a one-use stylus for the ipad that they will disinfect later.

I've always liked tea (sweetened black tea). I didn't know that better teas existed until I tried Piper & Leaf. Their tea is so much better than traditional iced tea. At the time of writing this review, they have 15 different types of unique and great tasting tea. My favorite is Old Fashioned Birthday Cake. You can purchase a mason jar and get discounted refills at their shop and at farmers markets. They also sell loose leaf tea so that you can make some yourself. I have so much to say about Piper & Leaf, but I really recommend that you experience it yourself at their shop or at any of the local farmers markets.

Always willing to make my tea just the way I like it! Generally the kids can be a little distracted but they are always nice.

Their ice tea is an inch of actual tea and then the rest is water and ice for 5 dollars. No place to put a laptop and your books either.

They have a nice sitting area inside, or you can walk around Lowe Mill (which I recommend) sipping tea and enjoying local art.

This place has changed since I first reviewed it, so might as well write an update…read more I have not come here for alcohol, but they do seem to have a fair variety of wines for sale, as well as weekly wine tastings. I am glad they have different coffee drinks nowadays, including espresso tonics, which have become my favorite for summertime. The food menu is small, but covers the basics. The space is nice and open, and I am glad they removed the red tint from the windows, makes it feel more relaxing now.

The staff here are about as hospitable and welcoming as a middle school teacher holding after…read moreschool detention. Sorority sister and I came to Charlie Foster's to get a glass of vino after dinner at El Caz. The majority of wine cellars/wine shoppes/wine centric places are extremely friendly, not tethered to a chair, and very engaging because, it's wine after all, and most wine lovers love nothing more than talking about wines! Rather than look over a wine list, I just asked for a glass of pinot grigio. The young man gave me the saddest pour I have seen in my life, again, in the requisite plastic purple Solo cup, and guess what this regrettable purchase cost me? $12.00. For a little more than double that cost, at about $26.00 I can get an entire bottle of Italian pinot grigio at Nick's ristorante, which is 4 *full* glasses!!!! Originally, I wanted to see what kinds of wines they had for sale; however, after this very transactional and impersonal interaction, I was ready to leave. I would suggest that management/owners train their personnel on wines and have them attend actual wine tastings with a sommelier and learn a few talking points about the various types and vineyards they represent. Staff should mingle with patrons to see what the person is interested in (would they like a dry white wine bottle to drink inside, a purple cup "to go," or several bottles for an upcoming event) and encourage things both that the customer prefers or is just outside the customer's comfort zone and peaks the patron's interest. I would also suggest they select staff who actually have a personality.

I still like this place and have even gotten "real food" there…read more Pros: Staff are friendly! They nicely ground the bag of (overpriced) coffee I bought with zero complaints. The breakfast sandwiches and BLT are decently executed, but I'm REALLY not a fan of their bagels. Their bread (particularly the baguette) is fantastic, though. Note: it sells out quickly. You can still pick up your to-go order without having to deal with people. They now have a cute bookshop inside. They make their own cream cheese! Cons: If I'm paying $1.50 for an avocado add on, PLEASE don't let it be oxidized and brown and gross. This makes me sad. Parking is still a nightmare. See above about the bagels. I'm prepared for the hate I'm about to get, but I prefer Bruegger's...which is sad, as I'm sure they're produced and come in frozen. Prices have gone up, but that's to be expected. I would love, however, the option to not add on a side for less moolah. I don't want their straight from the bag chips, random baby carrots, or (somewhat icky) fruit. Depending on the timing, you may be able to get a seat. Or you may be fighting a soccer mom with 4 screaming toddlers just to pick up a to go order. Still a fan, but know what you're getting.
