I can see that other reviews are saying the same.. this place is SLOW! There is something innately slow about this location. It doesn't matter who's making the drinks, sometimes there's two people and the number of people standing around waiting is ridiculous. I do mobile order and it's never on time. I'm waiting 10 or more minutes inside the store for a regular coffee just for them to add caramel flavoring and almond milk for goodness sake. Their system for filling drink orders is broken. One lady's drink set on the counter getting cold at least 10 minutes before she was actually called because she had 3 more drinks. However, several drinks were made and handed to others during this time. The 3 stars is because the staff is always polite when they tell you they're working on it. But they really need to put some pep in their step and figure out a better system for getting those orders filled faster. A mobile customer should never be waiting passed the time stated on the app. read more

So this is very disappointing for me to write. I'm a frequent Starbucks customer. I go literally like every other day! I was on my way to class at the college and I had an extra 20 minutes till my class started and decided to go through the drive through real quick (especially because Starbucks drive-thru's are usually the fastest anywhere). I pulled in the drive through and there was probably 5-6 cars in front of me. I patiently waited about 10 minutes and noticed the line had not moved at all. By that time, there were already 5 cars behind me so I could not leave. I seriously sat in the drive thru for over 30 minutes!!!! I have never been in a drivethru for 30 minutes!!! Not only was I in there for such a long time, I was late for my class. I want so upset it ruined my caramel brûlée latte lol. I have recently been Mobile ordering at this location since the other one sometimes has the mobile ordering off some days. I can say that every visit I've made in here has been very great. One thing that surprised me was how great communication is executed in this location. I have never experienced this level of good communication in any other location I've ever been to. Greeted every time you walk in, you're asked immediately if you have a mobile order or here to order, and if 1) you have mobile order, they ask which name it's for and they will look for it and if it's being made they will let you know it is or I've also been told I had X amount of drinks ahead of mine, I really appreciate service like this because you know they know which items you're here for and what you're waiting for and they can give you a heads up of where your items are at. I've been into other locations like the one on Main St where you're just standing there for 5 minutes. And you can see your mobile order is ready but none of the employees bother to ask. I always see the employees here at Hesperia/Bear Valley communicating constantly even about the small things, which is very important when there's so many people working at once. This is the worst Starbucks ever. I always do my Mobile order on my way to work. I live 20-30 minutes away and when I arrive every time my order is still not ready and I am waiting 10 more minutes on top of that. Their customer service is terrible. They never greet you and are also extremely rude when talking to you. They also make you wait about 10 mins waiting in the front when they have clearly seen you. I've came here numerous of times and nothing ever changes. I would not recommend anyone to come to this particular Starbucks. The one across the street inside Vons is much more efficient and has extremely nice staff. read more

One of my dependable stops when I want to pay someone else to make me black coffee. The dining area is really well-kept, the WiFi generally solid, and the staff usually cheerful and welcoming. This is a location I frequent at least once every couple of weeks and it never disappoints. It seems that no matter what day of the week this location always disappoints. The lines inside & drive through are always extremely long, which is generally "the norm" for Starbucks. However, in this case it's usually because the staff inside is extremely slow. I waited in line to place an order inside for 7 min while everyone behind the counter seemed to be running around aimlessly. If I could give zero stars, I would! This store has caused me to despise Starbucks. On countless occasions I have placed mobile orders. My old routine was tea every morning before work. If the mobile order says the order will be ready in 4-9 minutes and you get there and still have to wait another 10 minutes, ridiculous. Multiple times this has happened. They mess up your orders on a regular basis. And people wonder why everyone's pissed because people want $15 an hour, well, you're making coffee that you can't even get right! This Starbucks is one of many in the High Desert, but in my opinion, it's one of the best. Service is always fast and the baristas (who, let's be honest, probably hate their jobs because food and retail both blow) are always smiling when I come in. They also have a knack for heating their pastries there; I have yet to receive an overheated, soggy, cold-in-the-middle, or otherwise unappealing treat from them. This IS NOT my favorite Starbucks. They have some employees that I am not particularly fond of. The Older, bald headed manager / supervisor is mega douchy and far from pleasant. He has literally laughed in my face on occasion while trying to order my drink, in awe that I was explaining my requests to him. Then, didn't fill the cup out correctly and made my drink wrong. I'm sure on purpose. They also like to add additional charges to your drink order to make it cost more unnecessarily. IE, I have been charged for milk with iced coffee. Iced coffee price on the menu already includes milk. Ugh. They are slow, even though sometimes there are 7 of them back there. There are a few employees over there that are all right. Anthony is nice. He knows his job. He has a great attitude and is pleasant to customers. There is also a younger looking black kid that works there that is awesome. He is VERY nice to customers. I will stop here on occasion, if I have no other choice, otherwise, avoid it. It is pretty heavily filled with transients, college kids in search of WiFi (without ever buying anything), and ghetto degenerates from VVTA bus (who just order free water).
