Walking up to the coffee shop you'll see a painted crosswalk with flowers, and beautiful mural of birds on the side of the building, and a purple color front. When you walk in you'll be transported to a cozy, charming, and relaxed atmosphere. The staff are also extremely nice and welcoming. I ordered the seasonal latte which I can't remember what it was called. It had turmeric and some other spaces, I believe it was called the bee latte and it was excellent. I hear the Orange Blossom latte is also really good. Also, check out the upstairs seating area. This is a great coffee shop to spend some time in and also for remote work.

The sitting areas were nicely spaced, which I appreciated. It was quiet and the music wasn't overly loud, so it looked to be a great place to remote work if you need a spot against the wall to focus, or to catch up with people at one of the circular 4 seater tables near the center of the coffeeshop. There was also a couch area further back, which was perfect for my friend who was pregnant and also for me who is just several weeks postpartum so we both appreciated this comfortable spot to sit! Regarding the service the barista was quick to take my order and gave me good recommendations. She also made the order extremely fast as well! I got the Aversboro mocha with half sweet and oat milk and it was delicious! My friend arrived shortly after and also said her drink was great! Steep Right Up creates their own tea blends and sells local products (like cookies!). Samples are provided on longer days (e.g. Thurs/Fri). and at some events. The shop has tables in the middle and tea blends for sale on the left and right sides of the shop. The tea products are organized well and available in various sizes. Sample containers are next to the blends if you want to smell them. These canisters also have the tea prices on them (since the individual bags are not labelled). For the road, I picked up a half loaf sesame pan, butter, and goat cheese--a simple combination, but one that seemed like the perfect way to appreciate the quality of the baking. What struck me most is the attention to ingredients and technique. Boulted mills its own flour, works with organic and heirloom grains, and relies heavily on natural fermentation. The breads are baked with a beautifully dark, deeply caramelized crust that delivers considerably more flavor than the pale, overly uniform loaves found at many bakeries. Something is reassuring about a bakery that doesn't try to overcomplicate things. Great flour, careful fermentation, skilled hands, and a hot oven. The results speak for themselves.
