A pretty fast paced Starbucks for being on post. Like most of the reviews about this place, the staff is a hit or miss, but that's most establishments so I wasn't surprised. Luckily the only drink I order is served during the holidays because most places make the peppermint white mocha a tad bit too sweet or too bland. They made it right which I was happy about. The only downfall was this place didn't have any food available and the fact that they don't grant or allow the usage of your rewards on your starbucks gold membership. read more

They usually have a handful of people working, so drinks come out pretty quickly. Great location for mama to grab a coffee and have the kids play on the playground out back! They offer Starbucks deals like Frappuccino happy hour and accept the Starbucks app/gift card for payment, but they don't honor star reward drinks. I accumulate so many points here but have to drive to Etown to redeem my free drinks. read more

Never can quite get my order right. Been here on Knox for two years and I've always had mixed results. I've seen other people served first despite ordering before them (actually, several people before them). My triple mocha frappe is almost always wrong (hint: it's supposed to have three kinds of mocha/chocolate in it), but whatever. At this point if they mostly get my order right I'm satisfied. Just another example of how mediocre everything is here on Knox in general. Don't expect "great" service (or even good service for that matter), just expect service and you'll never be let down. read more

This is the nicest Starbucks I have ever visited. It's welcoming and very clean. It has a nice patio outside to sit and relax while watching your children play on the decent size playground right next to it. The staff was friendly and our orders were made correctly. Such a beautiful building. Not your traditional Starbucks layout but same welcoming feeling. I've been there twice since I've been on Ft. Knox and both times have been very pleasant. The Baristas are friendly, the place is clean and my drinks (although complicated) were spot on. Yesterday morning, some inattentive dweeb took my drink from handoff, the young lady on bar remade my drink without the slightest hint of annoyance and even apologized to me. I love this Starbucks! Pros: Fast courteous service every time. I'm always in and out no matter what time of day that I go for my "picker upper." The staff is very knowledgable about their products. Con: This Starbucks does not have a drive thru and that's a major disadvantage especially if its raining and you don't want to get out the car. At any rate, I love this Starbucks and even though I got soak and wet the other day, the great coffee warmed me right up! read more

Quality of service, cleanliness, speed, and accuracy are on par for a corporate store. The staff is friendly and attentive. Since this is a new location, they still don't have the traffic footprint you would expect for being the only Starbucks in the area. As a result I cannot speak as to if staff maintains these standards when the pressure is on. read more

First of all the coffee is not even good. Not like a real Starbucks, this is a cheap Version. I ordered a chocolate croissant but instead of telling me they were out they charged me for regular one instead thinking that was okay. They could have just said they were out and I would have passed on it. It's like ordering soda but get Kool-Aid. I'm in a rush anyways so I had to go back, maybe they made a mistake which is fine but instead nope they were out but still charged me. She looks at me and say so you don't want these I'm like nope. Told me that if it's not displayed they don't have it extremely rude and condescending. Yes I got a refund but fucking charge me for something I didn't ask for again. This has to be the most unorganized Starbucks in the chain of Starbucks! They never have anything stocked. Their trucks apparently didn't make it to deliver the products. A couple days later I went back to order a cold brew they said they didn't have any. I asked if the trucks had came in, they said yes, but no one made it. How lazy is that? They've been out of food as well on multiple occasions. You'd think whoever manages the place would have some type of idea what supply and demand is. Poor excuse for a Starbucks, although the building is really nice. Will definitely email Starbucks corporate. read more

Great service. Friendly, fast, efficient baristas and always with a smile. One customer was barking at them because they were in a hurry and a barista had her order, took her payment and made her drink pronto. Customer was rude and in uniform but the barista handled it very professionally!! Outdoor area is really nice. read more

well I though I had experienced bad customer service before, then I went to the Fort Knox Starbucks, then I learned what REALLY bad customer service was. First the young ladies behind the counter acted as though I invaded their personal space for even approaching the counter. I made the horrid mistake of purchasing a travel mug and they proceed to make my drink and pour it in the mug without washing it. When I ask if it was washed I was stared at like I had a horn growing out of my head. She literally just said "have a good day" I can honestly say this place runs on pure hate and discontent. I'm not sure who's managing this location but me thinks it's Satan. I hate that I am trapped and forced to endure such treatment, and even pay for it. lol read more

I love Sbux like the next person but the baristas here are hit and miss. Some days they nail the drinks others they are less then desrible, and I'm ordering the same thing every time. Quite simply--less than average. Limited hours and AAFES operated. Need I say more? No, but I will. They were unable to accept my Starbucks gold discount due to their system. Clearly not fully integrated in Starbucks. We all have a choice. The frappuccino was decent and the barista was just okay. Hope this helps. WDE! read more

I am a huge Starbucks fan... A gold club member since 2010 and I was super excited when we moved here and we were lucky enough to be on another post that had a Starbucks. Unfortunately, my excitement faded as soon as I read the hours of operation on the door. A Starbucks that closes at 2:30 PM on the weekends?!?! That's just crazy! I don't really find the the weekday hours very impressive either. It's become obvious to me that I will need to find a new favorite coffee place since the next closest Starbucks is 45 minutes away. read more

As a long time Veteran of the Starbucks franchise, I have to say that the service I receive at this particular branch is VERY DISAPPOINTING. Starbucks has gotten me through the Grad School years, Super cravings during pregnancy (with their cream base, non-caffine beverages :), Brutal cold weather blizzards in Chicago, and the list goes on ....so I was willing to look past the locked doors a few minutes "before"posted closing times, the refusal to serve and make sandwiches because "they shut the oven down 20mins before closing time" and the ever so popular- sweep over my feet while I 'try' to enjoy my frappe because the employees want to get out as soon as the store closes....OK...get it...sacrifice service for top quality coffee....But just before Memorial Day (how fitting for a military base location) an employee went up and beyond the call of rudeness, to not only have me write this post to warn others...but to also pursue this incident further to ensure these events never again happen to customers, of my beloved Starbucks. For a place that has an impeccable record for customer service all over the states (It has been my honor to frequent such locations at New York, Chicago and Hawaii, to name a "few"- we are military, travel is what we do ;) ) this Kentucky location DOES NOT live up to the traditional standards. My hope is that management truly take my post into consideration, and possibly make adjustments to staff to resolve this pending issue....I will post again if changes are noted (suggestion/recommendation: there are countless military spouses and teenagers ready and willing to be hired and work!!! who are both capable of providing "quality" service and understand the value of "work ethics" ) P.S. shameful there is NO military discount also. read more
