This is the second time I've come here and had the worst attitude from this barista. It seems that sometimes Starbucks baristas act as though they would be financially impacted if they think someone is "cheating" the system. I, however, am not cheating the system. When I asked for 1 inch of soy in my shots for my drink that still comes out to $4 she input 1/2 inch and when I asked for more the girl(who just seemed miserable) said "next time we will need to charge you for a latte", I said, "you charge for an inch?" She said no, "she charge after an inch" and I said well I asked for an inch and you put half. She said "mmmk" and that was it. The other thing is I do truly only want an inch, anymore and the drink is too milky and sweet. If I wanted a crap ton of milk I'd pay for a latte. But Starbucks is a billion dollar company. The former ceo was recently on trial. They don't care about her, why does she care if I get 1/2 more of soy. read more

Terrible service! I tried to order a Shirley temple poppi with vanilla sweet cold foam on the side and they wouldn't even let us buy the cold foam on the side! It took 3 people to talk to us and tried to tell us we couldn't have cold foam because poppi is in a can when we just wanted it in a cup with cold foam! I've gotten this same order at THREE DIFFERENT locations, yet this federal way Starbucks by Fred Meyers was not letting us! Most convenient right next to my gym! I like this location, because it's not as busy as other locations..well maybe you can't find a spot to relax in the morning ( assuming that's the busiest time of day) , but later in the day...yes you can. Typical friendly service! You are also right next to Fred Meyer so you can take your coffee and go shopping with drink in hand. Oh did I say the parking lot is huge, so if you whine about not finding one...you got problems. :)~ Not an overly bright location. Window factor is minimal but if you're one of the lucky ones, you can sit in 1 of the two nice chairs with a small coffee table in between. I turned my chair outward today so I can look into the daylight. Ahhhh peace and relaxation. They keep it very tidy in there. A quiet and great place to study! There's only 1 big table and the rest of the tables can only withhold 1-2 people sitting there. The employees are super nice and friendly! I just called to place an order for coffee that a friend was on their way to pick up for us. I got placed on hold 3 times and the lady was rude. Not only did she put me on hold but she didn't actually put me on hold. She put the phone down. So I heard to state to the customer, "I need to run your card because it isn't working." She then explained to me that they were short staffed and that they usually don't take phone orders. Then she proceeded to tell me she wouldn't make the drinks until the person got there. I let her know the gentleman was in a hurry which is why I called them in as he would like to pay and go. She groaned and said, " I will do what I can do". I hate writing bad reviews as I work in customer service and I totally understand being busy, but take a deep breath and be nice. This one act kind of put a ruffle in my day. read more

I'm high functioning on the autism spectrum so I've found in life that it is only a matter of time before someone decides to victimize me for being "different". I was abused for a year at this location by a staff member. I finally called it in to corporate. The Store Manager at the time covered it up and that staff member Kathrine was promoted to the corporate offices. She also started abusing my brother and would announce that she was making his drinks wrong on purpose when I started going to another store as well as asking around to try and find me (her victim). When Kat was gone I came back due to difficulties where I was being targeted at the other store simply to be abused by a new member of staff who was angry at my venting about the robbery, stalking, assault, ID Theft, and abuse being done to me by his sister-in-law and her friends that I couldn't get the local PD to hold them accountable for even with pictures. I didn't know he was related to my abuser at the time I was simply vocalizing my frustrations, I only figured out his relationship to my abusers due to his abusive behavior after the fact. After being talked to by management this staff member started intentionally making drinks wrong for my friends and I and trying to call our orders out quietly enough that we wouldn't hear which I called him out on very loudly in the middle of the store. Management corrected this behavior when I went directly to them about it after a few weeks of this. I had troubles with Fitness19 next door where I was stalked, harassed, had my car keyed by staff, had my safety threatened at my house, had the police sent to my house to yell and scream at me (on camera) about false claims made by gym staff. Staff and Ed the owner of Fitness19 thought it was funny to cause me problems in the local area and lie to their customers about me so that their customers would target or avoid me. This was causing problems for the nearby businesses as I wrongfully expected them to provide a safe environment for their customers in their lobby. I should have known better as I had witnessed staff allow a situation between two homeless ladies escalate to near violence so they could press charges which risked other customer's safety. After an event where Fitness19 advertisers came into Starbucks specifically to get a reaction out of me (they saw me walk in, they stared at me on the way in, and stared at me on the way out, they did not purchase anything). An acting shift manager decided to lie to the police to have me served a no trespassing order making claims that I said things I had no reason to even think let alone say. Had she been telling the truth there would have been evidence on camera and I would have been arrested then and there rather than the police being forced to tell me to not come back two days later when even they didn't believe the shift manager's claims. My experiences with corporate and management have shown me that management at any level up to and including Regional care only about showing profit and hiding problems from their bosses so I don't expect there would be any point in trying to get a corrupt management to fix any of my previous issues. In summery based on my experiences: You will be abused or mistreated eventually. They do not care about your safety. It is "not their responsibility" as I have been told by Starbucks staff. It is easier to target the victim than deal with problems coming from other businesses. Management at any level up to and including Regional care only about showing profit and hiding problems from their bosses. Customers don't matter, only profits, and there are plenty of replacement customers when you are done being mistreated. You do not matter to this company. At all. read more

The dudes are great, however, I went in this once to get, what they call, #hansonmilktea which is a mix of black coffee and black tea plus various add ins, the ladies there weren't that pleasant. And I was absolutely disappointed at the fact that I ordered a VENTI, and they gave me 1/3 of foam! Seriously? But other than size, they made it perfectly drinkable. read more
