Ordered a drink with oatmilk this morning due to issues with regular dairy. Well they did NOT pay attention to my order and made it with regular milk. How do I know you ask, I've been sick since I finished half the cup. If I'm paying almost $9 for a cup of coffee the least they could do is follow the order correctly and not just rush it out the door. read more

Starbucks here, Starbucks there, Starbucks everywhere. I mean literally though, there are way too many Starbucks in every city big and small, and people just keep coming back. (I may or may not be guilty of this too.) But anyways, this is one of at least 4 or 5 Sbux in Fargo, and it's the closest to my parents' house by far. It is always stinkin busy. I mean, 10-12 cars in the drive thru deep, at the minimum, almost all times of day every day of the week. It's mind boggling how this one is always soo crazy. If you don't see a drive thru line that's long then you better go immediately and take advantage, because it won't last long and probably won't happen again for a week. Despite the insanity, this Starbucks is usually pretty consistent with what's come to be known of the chain. All the workers are always so darn sweet and amazing, and they work super hard- I mean clearly, they don't have any other choice due to the capacity of people that ship through each day. This is my local Starbucks and I've never had a bad order here, ever! It's always on time, and accurate, and delicious. I've gone to Starbucks around the world and this one is top notch! Servers are always friendly and the place is always spotless. Not a lot of seating but I always get mine to go anyway. See you soon Starbucks! read more

Stood there for a good 5 minutes at the register and there was at least 6 people behind the counter making drinks and at first I was like maybe the drive thru is busy I'll give them another minute. I felt so invisible and started to get annoyed. Finally one of the staffed asked if that was all for my order so i replied I've been standing here waiting for someone to notice I need assistance. They didn't have what I needed and the staff member suggested I call next time, I told her I'm not from here just passing through. I walked out and saw absolutely NO cars in the drive thru, so I'm assuming they're all just practicing or having a barista making drill since everyone was running back and forth making drinks anyways hopefully the next Starbucks will have way better customer service and not act like they have a line around 5 blocks waiting on drinks. So ridiculous. Also there was like 2 people in the dining area on their laptops and one other lady looking at cups, so again it was not busy like how they were acting. read more

I've generally had good, fast service at this location. This is my regular stop since it is near my house. They also have ample, comfortable seating if you plan to stay.The two things that originally got me to use Starbucks as my go-to coffee shop were the convenience of the location and their rewards program. While they have scaled back the program some, it is still a great program and they have the best mobile app. The best perk I liked that they no longer have was getting free soy and free flavor shots in my drink. I can understand why they discontinued that as they were essentially losing $1.10 on each of my drinks. What is still good are things like: - free drink on birthday - free food or drink when you purchase 12 - free refills on brewed coffee or tea (I've never used this since I usually go with the espresso drinks) - occasional special offers you are notified on - their mobile app is so easy to use and handy. You can pay right from your app by them scanning your phone. I think everybody's tastes vary for coffee so it would be difficult to go by someone's recommendation on that. Personally, I like the taste of Caribou Coffee or Gloria Jean's better but I still go with Starbucks most of the time, because of location, convenience and the rewards program. read more

Leaving a review simply in hopes the staff working here today around 10:30 AM get a pat on the back for excellent service. I made a mobile order and was waiting inside for my drink to come out. After a while it was clear that someone must have mistakenly taken my drink and not theirs. I was in no rush and was waiting for them to remake my drink & one of the employees got me a gift card for a drink in the future. It really made my day to see employees that were working so hard to keep up with the chaos extended kindness even when the error was not their fault. read more

I stood in line at the Kirsten Lane Starbucks in Fargo ND, and the staff person waited on all the people in front of me, and then when it was my turn, she literally didn't say anything or acknowledge me, she just walked away and started working at the drive-through. I waited five minutes for her to return, and she never did. I then went to the restroom and returned a few minutes later, and it happened again! The staff person waited on the woman in front of me, then when it came my turn she walked away. 3 servers then walked right by me and no one even acknowledged me. I thought I must be invisible! Finally I gave up and went to Caribou Coffee down the street. On the plus side, I did get to use the bathroom at Starbucks. I'll give them a star for that. read more

This is one location I can always rely on to make my order right! Though I hate to admit it, I am one of those annoying coffee drinkers (extra ____, light on the ______). The staff are always friendly and fast even when it's busy. I very rarely have received an inaccurate order, and the few times I have, the barista is always happy to correct it. Starbucks is Starbucks no matter where you go, but it's the only place in this town to get a full-flavored cup of coffee and/or today's copy of the New York Times. Everywhere else around here either uses too light a roast. This is your only option in the F-M area for coffee that doesn't taste like warm water with a brown crayon dipped in it. Starbucks = full flavor. That other Canadian-sounding chain = weak coffee. Of course, now they've introduced blond roasts (yuck!), but whatever. :P lol The staff are always friendly and my order is always correct and delicious. It's rare that any store ever has Italian roast on drip, but if you can get it I highly recommend it. It doesn't hurt that Starbucks' iPhone app is so good other businesses could take notes. And I am so, SO grateful that I can the NY Times there. This store is my favorite part of Sunday mornings. read more

This is by far the best Starbucks I've been to. All baristas were super friendly. They were pretty busy when I stopped in and at least three employees asked me how I was doing or how my day was going. They made me feel like they were glad I stopped in, rather than a nuisance to their day. I'm not sure I'll go to any other Starbucks in the area again. read more

I love Starbucks but was really disappointed in this location. The straws I got were all too short for the drinks I got. If they were out, say something don't just let me lose the straw in my drink. They advertise online that they do a pup treat for dogs as well. So I ordered one for my small dog and once I got to the window she had no idea what I was talking about and so I asked and she gave it to me in a cup my dog couldn't even get his snout in.. Really lady? You can clearly see my dog is small.. Not impressed. read more

I have been to many Starbucks and coffee joints and can't say that Iv ever had a bad or negative experience at any. However, I can say that I visit this Starbucks multiple times a week and each and every visit is better than the next. The staff is always kind, helpful, and patient when someone is taking a little longer or unsure what they would like. The recent remodel is also very pleasant and a great place to sit down, have some coffee, and get some uninterrupted work done. read more

All the baristas here are so sweet! I locked my keys and phone in my car here a few weeks ago and one of the girls let me use her phone for like 30 minutes so I could get back into my car. The coffee is spot on all the time- I drink with soy because I like it, not because of a lactose issue and they are always sure to ask if I still want whip cream (of course, I always do). In store is usually faster than drive through though. read more

I'm being generous with 2 stars. If this was a reheat-a-pre-made-overpriced breakfast sandwich joint -- 5 stars! - but at the heart of it it's a coffee shop (or is it?)! Second time in less than a week I've waited a ridiculous amount of time to order a coffee only to throw the liquid out the window and recycle the cup. I'll be honest, Starbucks has never been my favorite but I've had a gift card to use.....but next time I get one, pay it forward by. I'll be giving it away to someone without tastebuds. Gas station coffee that's been sitting 1/2 the day has better flavor than the crap Starbucks was passing through the window at me. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato- no caramel flavor, the coffee aspect tasted like the bottom of an ashtray from 1976....but wait, I went back because I still had a balance on the card. On trip two I ordered the same thing, only hot instead of iced. It also had zero, ZERO caramel flavor and all I got was the bottom of an ashtray flavor - but hot this time. Starbucks, seriously I just don't understand why people think your coffee beverages taste good. Never going back (unless I'm craving a pre-made reheated breakfast sandwich that's over-priced). I put in a mobile order of 2 hot food items, 2 bakery items and 3 cold drinks to take to my coworkers as a Friday treat. I arrived at the store 15 minutes later. The barista handed me my drinks. She asked if I had anything else, and I gave her a list of the food items. She said they were in the oven. About 5 minutes later, she brought me the bakery items, but no hot food. 20 more minutes went by and I still hadn't received my food. The girl working the oven came over & told me they were out of the sandwich I ordered and I wouldn't have been able to order it on the mobile app. I was able to order it on the app, so I asked for credit. She fumbled around with the cash register for a minute or so, but was able to figure it out and gave credit for the drink but did not apologize for accusing me of lying about ordering the sandwich. After that, she put the croissant in the oven that I had also ordered. (To her credit, she did make an extra one and sent it with me). About 35 minutes after I arrived at the store, I was finally able to leave with most of my mobile order and a credit for the sandwich. The place was terribly unorganized and the customer service was lacking. I used to like this store. I have voted it as best drive thru in the HPR and Forum for multiple years. After my last visit, I will no longer be a customer at this branch. read more

This place was packed this morning when I went in, both the drive through and inside had very long lines. I thought it was going to take longer then I had to wait for my coffee. I was through the line and had my items within 10 mins of getting there. The Starbucks team worked quickly, efficiently, and maintained great customer service along with having amazing communication through out their team. I am glad to live so close to such a well functioning kick-butt Starbucks! read more
