Since last posting a review for this Starbucks location, service has plummeted. Even though most times the order comes out fine, real customer service is lacking in comparison to others I have been to. This location is drive through only. There are no more mobile orders that can be made here for pick up which means longer wait times for the only method for fulfilling your daily Starbucks needs. Cannot go around the corner or another location cause in Dothan there is only one standalone store. Other than this it is Target and that means a potential for wasting money. Forget the hospital location, it has been restricted to hospital personnel only. Food and beverages are still fresh, yet wait times have doubled or tripled. This COVID thing has it all amuck here. Someday soon we may get back to face to face dealings and better customer service at this location. read more

Wow this location stays so busy! The staff were doing their darndest to keep up with the volume of mobile and drive-thru orders that were coming in. Which means it took a little while for my drink to come out. However, considering all the ridiculous modifications that can be made to these Starbucks drink, the staff were pushing through with good attitudes and at a reasonable speed. I think working at a busy Starbucks must be murder. Keep up the good work, guys! read more

I appreciate that we have Starbucks; but this place is slow! My wait was approaching 5 minutes, and only one patron's order was taken and filled. So I left. Come on. With at least 4 staff members back there, the delivery should've been w-a-a-y-y better. read more

So happy that Dothan finally has a stand alone Starbucks store! I stopped in while visiting my mom and the baristas did a great job. We had a minimal wait and they made our drinks perfectly! It's gotta be rough being such a brand new store during COVID but they're doing a wonderful job and the attitude of the barista in DT was refreshing. Keep up the good work! read more

Just pulled into this location after going out of my way to find a Starbucks on my way to Atlanta. It's 5:45 am. Went to go inside, because I always do. Because, normally I like people. Door was locked. The barista, who's back was to me, took one look at her watch and then walked back into the back. Silly me, thinking maybe the lobby just wasn't open yet tried the drive thru. No dice. If your employees can open your stores on time, you should probably find new ones. Or, at the very least, have the courtesy of SAYING, "Hey, rough morning. Be open soon!" Unacceptable behavior 45 minutes after you're supposed to open. read more

I won't give the worst rating of 1 out of 5 stars because the staff is, for the most part, VERY nice. With that being said, they are VERY VERY VERY slow. I've never been to a Starbucks as slow as this place. I frequently visit the Starbucks in Pensacola, on interstates, and they are SO much faster and make fewer mistakes. Their drive-thru lines move like clockwork. This place, you could easily spend 20-30 mins in line. Oftentimes 5 mins will pass before the line moves by one car. I could drive to Mural City, order a drink, sit down (which they will fuss at you if you sit while you wait for your drink in Starbucks) get my drink, drive back across town to Starbucks and the same people will be in line. Unfortunately this is what I often do. On a recent visit, I had waited inside longer than 15 mins for my drink. They finally put it on the bar and it was wrong so they had to start over. I noticed a chair that didn't have a sign on it that I figured was for someone to use while waiting. I was sternly informed by someone working there that I had to stand up and couldn't sit at that chair. Honestly she may have just been doing her job but the audacity to be stern with me and not the staff goofing off while people waited 20 mins for a drink, is beyond me. I hope management will take a long look at how things are run here. It's a great location and a great town for it. I'm sure the business is good but it's not an indication as to the town's opinion of this place. People are loyal to the product but very dissatisfied with the wait. I hope they speed up quickly enough to keep MY business. read more

Drive thru takes forever. I'm talking 30+ minutes. Even in the middle of the day. When the inside is closed. Drink came out good though.

It's great to have a real Starbucks in Dothan now, but I have to say the service is terribly slow. I know that it takes time to train, but there are still a lot of kinks to be worked out here. So far I've spent 25 minutes in the drive thru and waited quite a while even inside. And the folks running the register have no idea what to enter unless a trainer is standing over them. read more

Good location and hard workers most usually very friendly and helpful. However, the prices of their coffee drinks and other food is getting so high I can hardly not be able to afford to go there anymore! A medium coffee drink and a small bakery snack is now easily $11-$13 more with tips . I can almost buy an entire meal at other local cafes such as whole salads , soups , sandwiches, coffee , etc so will have to stop frequenting Starbucks much anymore until something is done to lower the costs of pretty much everything inside the place . Will miss the atmosphere but will have to adapt to the others now . read more

Quality drinks made just how you order. Convenient location with drive thru and friendly staff. My only complaint is their general lack of cleanliness. Coffee tables are soiled and floors need swept just after opening?! Bathrooms are frequently in need of freshening. read more

Baristas don't know how to make a soy chai latte or frappe. I've been there twice and won't ever be going back to this location. They are tasteless to the point that it just taste like soy milk with ice. I'm a loyal Starbucks customer. Very disappointed!!! read more

If there was a way to give zero stars this would be a great place for it. My mom and I go through the drive through in the POURING rain and decide to pull around to the window to order so we don't get soaked. Instead of showing even the slightest amount of sympathy, the cashier says, "Yeah normally you have to order at the Drive Thru but this is also why we have a lobby inside." We decided to just leave due to the lack of respect by the workers, and I will never be coming back. Looking forward to our experience at Panera where the employees may be somewhat kind, we may even try out the lobby. read more

I am a gold star member and have gone to many different Starbucks but this has been the worse service I have ever had. Not only are they slow they are extremely rude and don't make the drinks right even though they know they left ingredients out and didn't do it properly. Also none of them had name tags on the last time I went in there, I'm not even able to talk to management about what happened because I don't have a name of the people who were rude to me. I have patience to wait for new people and stuff but I don't tolerate rudeness. read more
