New Starbucks stop for me on my trip from SoCal to the Fresno. I just happened to see the Starbucks sign on the Delano Marketplace sign and decided to get off the 99 to make a pit stop. This is one of the tallest vaulted ceiling Starbucks I have been in. Staff was friendly and my drink was ready in a few minutes. We are on a road trip coming back home from my mother in law's celebration of life with our 10 month old. We came in with a small yeti asking for hot water for her formula. The baristas said they were not allowed to give hot water at all due to customers throwing it at them. I asked if I could buy a hot tea with the tea on the side. As we have 3 hours left of our drive we need to feed our daughter milk. My daughter is in my hands and I'm offering to buy a drink to get hot water. They still said no, they refused to give me hot water. Listen girls- have some feel. AND If you're going to enforce a policy, at least have the policy correct which is no hot water to customers who aren't buying a drink. I tried to buy a drink and was still told no hot water. Plus we've gone to Starbucks so many times to get hot water and have never had an issue. Overall- never heard of a coffee shop not giving hot water. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

I have been a Starbucks customer for over 10 years. My drink is trenta black iced tea, light ice and no sweetener. For as many years, if I stop at ANY Starbucks for a refill it's 50 cents and FREE if I use my app. I stoped here today, in a hurry for a hair appointment in Bakersfield from Fresno (don't ask lol) left my quarters on the counter with my open tea and asked for a refill while I used the restroom. I came back and was told it would be $4.75. They don't do refills. I told the counter person that I had never been charged more than .50 before but she didn't budge. Service was terrible. I asked to try the pumpkin chai and asked if I could get a new drink if I didn't like it. She said yes. After trying it, I didn't like their chai and ordered something else. Instead of the new drink, she gave me back the pumpkin chai, which I had returned and taken a sip of! I kept wondering why the drink did not taste like the one I ordered then I saw the sticker on the cup said my old pumpkin chai order. I called and she told me to come back for a replacement, but I was already on the highway. They don't do refunds once out of the store. I always leave for my SoCal excursions early in the morning because the 99 freeway is only two lanes, and traffic can be tight. I like to get on the road, and hold off on my morning coffee until I get to this Starbucks location, which is right off the 99 freeway. This location is fairly new, and is located in a rather new shopping center. The drive-thru service here is speedy, and the staff has always been friendly. Two stars for friendly staff. The only critique would be that their coffee drinks are very inconsistent. Terrrible!!!! Had to listen to a ridiculous argument between the barista and a whiny customer on whether a drink had foam or not. The customer claimed that her drink came with foam and so refused to pay for the additional charge and it was absolutely ridiculous. On top of that, they were so slow that they said it would take at least 30 minutes before our drinks came out, so we chose to leave. Stay away not worth the drama.... A good thing they're getting paid 20 something dollars an hour. Unbelievable!!! read more

Always get my order wrong!! It's annoying to have to wait 15-20 minutes for a drink and then realize it's wrong, not once but multiple times. Attitude in the drive thru is always extremely rude. They hurry up and say "that's it", instead of repeating the order that could save us both time!!! Shameful. I would go here often since it was close by!! The staff here is amazing!!! They were so nice and helpful! I came in to fix my gift card that I accidentally washed! They were so patient in helping me figure out how to save it and load on my Starbucks's app! I didn't have time to get a drink but I will definitely be dropping in soon.
