Wow the ratings are ridiculously low for this location. Located in Delano, CA, just off the 99, it was very easy to find. We mobile ordered then walked inside to use their restrooms. Clean restrooms with soap and hand towels by the sink. Great for travelers going from Madera, CA back home to Mesa, AZ. The lobby was pretty full of people at tables working on laptops, having conversations, eating food, or just relaxing. Nice atmosphere on a Monday morning. There were a few cars in the drive-thru line, but orders were coming out quickly and all of the baristas seemed friendly. Our order came up, we grabbed it, said thanks, and hit the road again. We'll definitely look to stop here again on our next trip up this way. read more

It was super busy , I suggest order ahead !!! I mean hey it's Starbucks in the middle of who the hell knows !! Stopped here due to traveling to Vegas ! Like I said just order ahead . The absolute worst experience. The customer service was horrible, they were rude and so busy in their own conversation to assist me. They were talking about drive thru customers which I found to be unprofessional. They were rude and not wanting to unlock the restrooms. It was just not an inviting environment and when I complained to the manager, he didn't seem to care, and heard him talking about me as I left. I won't be returning read more

I've dropped by this particular Starbucks in route from LA to anywhere north multiple times. I've always walked in so I do not have the drive thru experience or issues that others have posted. My drinks have always been prompt and the associates have always been very courteous. Great location, quick and easy on and off the 99. read more

Customer service has improved tremendously, but they still seem to always be out of things. Wait time for drinks has also improved. It's always a hit or miss with this location. Today my latte taste burnt which sucks when you're paying $5 per item. Frappuccinos and teas are always pretty good, but it's the coffee that isn't always on point. read more

Didn't have toffee nut or let me give my dog a puppychino. They said they were out of whip but I could see them handing drinks out in the cafe with whip and I can see the baristas continue to whip drinks. I'd rather they were just honest with me and said they didn't want to give me one. The one on Woollomes will make a whip for you before saying they are out. Spend a lot of money at this place, honestly, it makes me more willing to keep spending if they treat my dog like a paying customer too There was a bit of a line in DT and the bathrooms could be updated and cleaned- but at least they were stocked The barista could've been nicer too, I expect more conversations from my baristas, but she could've been having a rough morning. read more

What in the ATTITUDE is this place? My mom and I were heading back from sequoia national forest and stopped to get some coffee and had my dog with me. I obviously cannot just leave my dog in the hot car because someone doesn't like dogs. Insisted on knowing if he's a service dog. Which we mentioned he's not however we are going to be using the restroom and ordering coffee so we can't just sit in the car. Refused to serve us until one of us left and me and my mom were communicating through the window/door. While she sat and laughed "no problem at all. Take your time " wtf. Any and all Starbucks we've been too has allowed dogs even if they say service dogs. When I confronted her about how ridiculous it looks she said "well I don't care about other Starbucks. That's what we like to do here". I thought that would be the end of her crappy attitude. I proceeded to ask for the bathroom code and she had to walk over and type it in for me to "ensure no one else takes the code". For god sake it's a bathroom code. Why do you care so much about a minimum wage job bathroom? I could care less about the code. Acting like we're stealing or something. I'm thankful I don't need to return to this Starbucks. Should've considered the 2.0 review with 280 people. Fix that attitude and let people live their lives! read more

I ordered a cappuccino and they filled it about 1/3 of the cup, if that. I get that a cappuccino is half coffee and milk/foam, but for $6 I barely got any coffee. When I went back in they said that's how it is. They also missed my partner's sandwich at first and we had to go back. Don't go to this location read more

So Saturday July 28 I drove 3 hrs from Rancho Cucamonga to visit some family I haven't seen in 2 years in Tulare Ca. Feeling tired from my 2 1/2 drive I stopped at a star bucks on the way to my Families House. I went through the drive thru ordered a chocolate mocha with a blonde shot. Paid $6.15 The young man (I didn't get his name) Handed me straw and asked for my card I handed him my card he gave me my receipt and my drink and said have a good day. Well an hour later I couldn't find my card. Mind you I live in Rancho Area drove 3 hours to Tulare and the only money I have was my card! I called the Starbucks and asked if they had it, I described the card and the name on the card (which is my Husbands name) She said yes you left it here, I told her I was in the drive thru, your employee forgot to hand me my card with my receipt. We hung up I drove 30 mins back to the star bucks. I go in and I meet FRANKEE THE WORSE STARBUCKS EMPLOYEE I EVER COME IN CONTACT WITH! She said can I help you I said yes you have my Debit card,she said I need your ID I said it's my husbands debit card, I don't have his ID with me I live 3 hrs away. She said well I can't help you, you need his ID I said I can read you the numbers off, I can FaceTime my husband. She was no having it! She started arguing with me in front of the whole store!! Let's think for a second!! If this was a stolen debit card and I just so happen to steal a whole wallet with the ID she was still going to hand it to me? makes total sense! Anyways back to the situation I said I'm gonna go look she shushed me away and said GO GET IT! First off I'm a grown ass woman! For this childish immature hermit to be disrespectful took everything in not to jump over the counter!! I went looked through my Car and Found a EXPIRED OLD ID! Haha I go back in and she looks at it doesn't take my Husbands card out of the Bag the Debit card was in. Slides the card over and say have a good day! I grab the bag but before I leave I get some action shots of her! I leave the Starbucks drove 30 mins back to my Families house and I pull the card out of the bag along with someone else's DEBIT CARD!!!! This DIMWIT EMPLOYEE FRANKEE NOT ONLY GAVE ME MY DEBIT CARD BUT ALONG WITH SOMEONE ELSES DEBIT CARD!!!! I seriously can't even AFTER GIVING ME A HARD TIME FRANKEE #PETTYID #PETTYFRANKEE YOU GAVE ME ANOTHER CUSTOMERS DEBIT CARD!!!! I did turn in the debit card to the bank in a envelope. I tend to lean toward Mobile order. But, since Delano has three Starbucks' in town, this location is the best for DT. Since the third location opened (only a block from this site) I've never hit a wait time, I don't experience the wrong order and the baristas are always cheery. The inside area isn't exactly cozy, but I think that's the point. It's more cohesive to a work environment. Bring a laptop, have a meeting, get in, get out type of vibes. read more

dec 2016-Ordered a Venti latte and got a grande, so I gave it back and I seen the guy ADDED more ice to it. Also ordered a few times on the app and when I picked it up I still had to wait up to 10 more minutes. So total wait is like 20-30 minutes. Dec2018..Thought it would be better, BUT STILL SLOWWWW AS F. Mobile order took 25 minutes. If you got time then order..if NOT go elsewhere! read more

This in a great addition to town, however, upon trying to study it has been really hard to focus or even enjoy the experience due to large group of people. I understand is a public space, however, there is a specific group that i have seen congregating, taking over the majority of the tables, and being extremely loud. This takes away from the experience or even the space to get things done. Again it is a public space, however, congregating and being LOUD is really not considerate of others trying to study, do work, or focus. Management, do you guys moderate noise level? read more

Who doesn't like Starbucks? Well, if you have ever been to this Starbucks then you'll know that all Starbucks are not created equally. Unfortunately I have been to this location several times because it is the only Starbucks that I know of in Delano. This Starbucks location is the slowest that I have ever been to. If you are ever in a rush, do not even try. Once I waited in the drive thru for an hour and you're probably thinking... why would you wait? I waited because I was traveling back to Bakersfield late and needed an energy boost, then I thought to myself after I received my order. I seriously would have been home already had I not needed the energy boost. Whoever runs this location does not know how to manage their staff. Usually if you're around coffee aromas, you would think that would amp people and wake them up, but not in the Delano location. They move with no urgency here and they literally move less than 1mph. I hate to bash on Starbucks because I'm a fan and this is my hometown, but Delano Starbucks needs to get their act together. When in Delano, I don't make stops here anymore because this place literally needs to change on time management. Starbucks is supposed to be a fast coffee spot, this coffee spot reminds me of those cafe's that are meant for sitting and chatting... maybe like "Central Perk" haha so talk away and make time for the wait if you grab coffee here. read more

I stopped at this location today 8/27/17 at 1:10pm. I sat in drive thru line and didn't get to the order speaker until 1:30. I ordered a iced caramel machiatto. I get to the window at 1:40, wait another 5 minutes until they even took my payment. She hands me my drink n it looked a little light so I thought I just needed to stir it..... NOPE!!! They gave me ALL MILK AND CARAMEL AND ABSOLUTELY NO COFFEE!!!!! R u KIDDING ME?!?!?! I had already pulled away so I called to let them know they gave me caramel milk after I waitin in line as long as I did. Gabby told me she would replace it when I come back out that way. I would of given at least 4 stars for speed of service. But they get 2 stars today. Just went through and asked for a bacon Gouda w/ no egg and the sticker on the bag said no egg but what did I find... egg in my bacon Gouda. I get to the window and the the little girl was not friendly at all. I get that they want to get the cars in and out as fast as possible but gosh she looked like she didn't want to be at work at all. P.S To the little gal at window smile it wouldn't kill ya!!! read more

We love Starbucks and been to many drive thru Starbucks in Las Vegas and California but the Starbucks in Delano unfortunately is the slowest we've ever experienced! When we pulled in and was only one car away from ordering. To make a long story short, it took us 30 mins to finally order pay and leave the drive thru. I understand if we were 3-5 cars away from ordering when we first pulled in but we were only 1 car away and still took 30 mins! I looked insides to see if they were busy and it didn't seem to be the case. Not sure what was going on but the Starbucks in Delano is definitely not living up to expectations! Good news was our drinks were good, despite the fact they did not have the drinks we originally wanted, but that's a longer story! read more

We're driving home to Portland and needed some quick coffee. Saw the two stars and thought, "how can you mess up Starbucks!?" Well Delano you've officially ruined Starbucks. Parked and went inside since we have a huge trailer and didn't want to try to get that through the small drive through....we're not greeted for a good 3 minutes, finally got our order in and waited at least 15 minutes for our two drinks! The place is pretty dirty as well, bathrooms a mess, spilled beans all over the counter, and couple spoons on the ground out front with black reside... Our espresso tasted burnt, and my cherry mocha had no cherry. I'm gonna say it's probably a better idea to skip this Starbucks and find coffee further down the road. read more

Today my experience was great. My barista was super helpful in making suggestions. She suggested the juniper berry lemonade and she said it's delicious but if I don't like it she'll make me something else no charge. Thanks giirrlll!! Good looking out!! Usually this place takes for-ev-ver!!!! But today they were pretty quick. The parking lot here is pretty annoying. It's really small and it's shared with a few other businesses. The drive-thru line can get super long and wraps around the whole building and out to the street. If you're not careful in choosing a parking spot you could get stuck here and end up spending the rest of your day here lol so choose wisely! Parking on the street is usually your best bet. They do have WiFi here and it's perfect for meeting up with friends from school or any type of quick meet up. I like that we have a place like this in town. It's nice to see students in here working. We needed this. read more

This is probably the worst Starbucks in the entire franchise. Slow service. Inaccurate drinks. Rude employees. Filthy establishment. Does it even have a manager? Probably not, since anytime one asks to speak to somebody there isn't one available. Go in and catch up on all the BS the employees gossip about. You're gonna wait over 30 minutes for one drink so you might as well grab a seat. If they aren't out of iced coffee, cold brew, classic sweeter, whipped cream or straws... you might actually get what you ordered AND paid for. It's a freaking joke here. read more

I mostly just use the drive through at this particular Starbucks as it makes a very convenient stop as one is driving North on the 99 on road trips. On this particular visit I made it inside for the first time. There are two tables outside with umbrellas to protect them from the summer sun. Inside it was decorated as a classic Starbucks, but there were two large glass windows stretching down two sides of the building providing plenty of natural sunlight giving this one a particularly cheery air about it. There was plenty of seating and tables and it was about half filled with people enjoying the use of the free wifi for their laptops and ipads. There were plenty of conveniently located electrical outlets, and even the people at the tables out in the middle of the seating space had no problem stretching their charger cords far enough to reach them. Just in Time by Dean Martin was playing over the PA system. Pop over to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IirrW2sqVHI and keep it playing on another time if you want to feel like you're in this Starbucks with me. The barristas were very friendly and accommodated my odd drink order without blinking an eye. I ordered a cafe misto with 2 pumps each of mocha, caramel, and hazelnut. It is referred to as a Nutella Latte on Starbucks secret menu, but the Barristas are not necessarily trained to make it just from the name so I have to explain it each time. The barristas here made it perfectly and I was back on my way quickly. Maybe someday I'll stop in with time to just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. read more

It's a hit or miss here. I'm not in Delano often but when I am I always make at least one stop to their local Starbucks. 2 out of 3 times my service in the drive thru is HORRIBLE. There was only one other car ahead of me and I only ordered my usual tea. I asked for no water, light ice, and 2 scoops of matcha. What did I get? WATER, a few cubes of ice, and a SPRINKLE of matcha (which I was able to see floating up and down the bottom of my drink...)! As soon as I looked at the drink I knew there was something wrong with it, but I didn't think to try it first before I drove out. I tasted the water immediately, it also wasn't as green as it should have been considering the amount of matcha I asked for, AND I got just a few ice cubes so it wasn't even cool to the touch! When I meant LIGHT ice, I meant HALF of the 4 inches of ice I usually get served! On a lighter day, do employees just get lazier here? Because, the one time I did get my usual great service was when it was busy! PLUS, the lady didn't even say 'have a nice day' or 'thank you' so I just sat there for a second after I got my drink thinking she had something else for me. If you hate your job, get out of the business! Starbucks is STRICTLY about customer service! I was on my way to Bakersfield, so I had to wait another 30 minutes until I got to the one on Olive to get my drink redone because the one I got didn't taste good! It just tasted like watered down tea! What a waste of product! Seriously, coming from a small town I wish I had so much more good to say about it. Services like these make me so angry and ashamed. It is located right off the freeway so I'm sure they get many out-of-towners. We need to give our town a better name, and we should start by providing genuine amazing service to everyone. read more

The banana lumpia dessert was good, of the choices it wasnt my favorite but im not the biggest fan of fried food. It was crispy, and the sliced bananas inside was cooked nicely and not mushy. The banana flavor was subtle but there. I would have rather had a stronger banana flavor but to me the fry oil was overpowering. The bakery has been there for ao long, do not expect an over priced fancy bakery with mid products. Youre going to an older bakery(been around since the 80s and the building probably hasnt changed much) where they know how to bake the tried and true Filipino desserts and breads without gimmicks or trends, and because they keep interior/exterior basic they can keep the prices down. This is the kind of bakery you come to for quality old school products and service, everyone is helpful and kind and they deliver the most delicious breads and desserts. I will be back soon to try their Pan de Coco!!

I have always given this Starbucks a try and I've tried to go in with a postive outlook on the place. I'm aware it was the only Starbucks in Delano and I feel my experience today was mainly because the app I'll informed me. I went in for a cold Brew but when I got there the barista told me they were out. The place started to get pretty busy so I placed a different order. You see I know what it's like to work in customer service and im not about to give the hard working baristas a hard time, but I just wish the app would have informed me ahead of time I wasted extra time and didn't really get the drink I wanted. I'm mostly upset because I had used up my Starbucks rewards and wanted to treat myself to a free drink, and I was upset because I didn't get what I wanted. Perhaps I should have asked to get my points back? At the end of the day I respect the workers in this location but I do hope with the location being open drinks get made right and things like this don't happen long waits/ misinforming app. I do realize the app was the one with the problem as far as not putting that this location was sold out of cold Brew so for this I don't blame the employees. I am just upset and wanted to share. Regardless of the store being busy I think the customer service can still be a little more friendly!(: that is all. read more

I go to Starbucks A LOT. Today I happen upon this store where i had the worst experience I have ever had at any Starbucks ever! The barista who took my order was condescending in a way that made me want to punch her in the face. I came in with a coupon for a free drink, I ordered my drink and she says; "this is for a holiday drink." I read her the coupon where it clearly stated "good for ANY handcrafted espresso beverage" I still had a half confused smile on my face, I couldn't understand why she would question that. She then put her hand out in front of me, as a frustrated mom would to her child having a fit, and said "okay. I. Am. Telling. You. It's. For. A. Holiday. Drink." I am a patient person and one who does not like to speak when overly upset. I took a deep breath, and walked away with a pumpkin spice latte. Yes, I bit my tongue. But ultimately regretted it.
