The moment you walk in here, you'll be surrounded by antique furniture and exhibits in a clean environment with oldies doo-wop music playing in the background. Sets the tone for you to relax and enjoy the moment. As for the menu, they serve all the typical coffee items along with breakfast/lunch sandwiches and handhelds including breakfast tacos/burritos. They also have blue bell ice cream scoops for sale. I'd expect nothing less being in the state of Texas! Staff-wise, they are polite and helpful with explaining all the coffee/food options and answering your questions. Being my first time here, I went with an iced latte w/ sugar-free irish cream and also ordered a sausage breakfast taco. The latte was very refreshing, you could tell it was made with love. The breakfast taco was actually two tacos and comes with some green and red salsa. These were quite filling and tasty. I ate them in the car but I should've eaten them in the store so I could marvel at the artifacts and antiques displayed. But I didn't want to be late for my work destination. If you're passing through the Cleveland area on 59, this is a hidden gem that's worth checking out, whether you like coffee or not!

The folks here are as polite as can be, and the price points are on par with pretty much everywhere else, including national chains. I ordered the whole brisket sandwich, which came on lightly toasted bread. First, I should have ordered the half version, because it was a lot of food. Live and learn. Either way, it was delicious, with just the right amount of sweet barbecue sauce. I'm not sure where they source the chopped brisket, but it was really good with nary a hunk of fat. This restaurant is not quick. But, if you have an hour lunch, you'll be fine here. (Otherwise, call ahead or get it to-go). Though I'm not a regular in these parts, I have certainly bookmarked this joint for future visits.

I also ordered sausage gravy on my chicken fried steak, but it came with country gravy instead. It wasn't a huge deal, but the sausage gravy costs an extra $1.99. I asked to have the upcharge removed since I didn't receive what I ordered. Instead, they brought me a small 2-ounce cup of sausage gravy on the side and still charged me the extra $1.99. Unfortunately, the poor timing of the food and the way the mistake was handled left a bad impression. It's safe to say I won't be returning. TLDR: Worth a visit if you're in the area?…read more Wow! Hidden gem? Forgotten favorite? I don't know, but after tasting the food, we have to get the word out about this spot. Arriving around lunchtime on a weekday, I had the place to myself which allowed me a unique opportunity to take the place in. That being said, this spot is not overly French cafe themed, but instead a classic suburban strip mall spot with nods to the French peppered throughout the menu and decor. The booth area is well-designed, the spot was clean and the table touched by light so after a great experience chatting with the cashier I was crossing my fingers, hoping the food matched the vibe. I had a crepe Mexicana (because who has ever heard of that?!), a croque monsieur with tomato soup, and a dessert crepe because y'all know I always save room for dessert. It took a minute to be prepared, but I'm willing to wait for a fresh made meal. Everything, was delicious. Crepe texture was on point, and each crepe was stuffed to the Gods. Positive experience all around. My tip: Order the tomato soup and finish your meal with the following combo- a dessert Crepe Almonds with strawberries. Trust me on that one!
