Yup, I too was one of those who were lured off I75 in search of a close Starbucks. Since we are in a pandemic we had been hoping that it was a drive through. No such luck. Having taken a LONG detour off the road we had no choice but to grab some coffee. It is inside a Kroger which didn't thrill us as we were trying to avoid people but really needed the caffeine for the 7+ hours left on our trip. Lucky for us it is right next to the restrooms so we took advantage and took a "bio-break". There were a couple of guys right behind us without masks...yaaaay... The service and coffee were fine but the experience isn't what we expected. read more

Some else already mentioned that this Starbucks pops up as a convenient exit coffee shop when looking for Coffee while traveling on I75. The detour worked for us since we needed to get gas and use the facilities so we took advantage of the inconvenience. Regardless, it should not be held against the establishment. Nor is the fact that some of their customers are science deniers who don't care about the well being of others and do not wear face coverings. As for our experience, it was a typical Starbucks order. This is based on several visits to this location. Service is very poor. For some reason you have to wait to be handed a vanilla scone or a cheese danish, even when there are at least five people working And they are not in a hurry. priority Seems to be mobile and drive through orders And the lack of attention to walk-in orders seems deliberate. Hopefully they won't close the Starbucks in the Kroger across the street where you can get coffee and a simple pastry right away. read more

The worker charged me for an item they didn't have. Then let me pick another which was $2 less. I didn't need the $2 but figured I would ask if I could get something of that value. Nope. No refunds and didn't let me get anything else for the money I'd already paid. Wouldn't have bothered me much besides the fact that the worker couldn't have cared less and didn't acknowledge she'd made a mistake or say sorry. read more

We stopped here on our way out of town and were in need of some caffeinated drinks. We weren't the only ones with this idea. For a licensed chain in a grocery, they were quick and kind. Our drinks tasted as they should and we ordered the sous vide eggs. They were great! read more

Just a warning. This Starbucks is included as an exit restaurant off of I75. BE PREPARED TO ADD 30 MINUTES TO YOUR TRIP. It is not right off the highway. The Starbucks was also out of a lot of things. Very slow too although they had at least 8 employees behind the counter. Also my egg white bites were undercooked. Subpar Starbucks experience. But they're Starbucks so I will still go to others... just not in Dalton, GA. read more

Well I can definitely say that the service at this Starbucks literally sucked !!! The 2 girls working at 3:44pm which was Chloe and a red headed girl need more training and especially on customer service !!! We ordered at 3:44 pm and did not get our 2 drinks until 4:10pm. In between making my 2 drinks they made 2 drinks that were ordered after our drinks first. I ordered a Frappuccino with no whip cream and even though it was written on the cup they still put it on there. When I told her it was suppose to be without it she just took it back and scrapped it off so there for I ended up with a liquefied (as iced coffee) Frappuccino that didn't fill up my venti cup! They need to make drinks in order and be trained more on how to make the drinks properly! I would never go back to this location and would never advise anyone to either! I wouldn't even have gave them 1 star rating but it wouldn't let me post it if I didn't. read more

Coffee was fine but the "baristas" were more concerned with wandering around aimlessly and talking to eachother than actually making thr coffee. One of the slowest "starbucks" I've ever been to. read more

We stopped by to get drinks real quick before heading to our NYE party. The cashier was not very friendly or helpful. First, I ordered two drinks and she only rang up one; so, I had to re-order the second one. I tried to use a gift card I received for Christmas and she said it was declining it. I asked what I needed to do to activate it. She stated very blandly, "Put money on it." I tried to explain that there should already be money on it, as it was a gift, she didn't offer any other advice other than a blank stare. When I got back to the car, both drinks tasted the same and burnt. Service was slow and unaccommodating. Will not be back. read more

I shop at this Kroger every week and keep trying this Starbucks, hoping it will get better. It doesn't. Horrible customer service and the lattes are never good. It's super convenient to where I live but I would rather spend the time driving a bit further. read more

Good baristas and the frappacinos are made pretty well! Although, I would say that the baristas weren't very interactive with the customers and were more interested in talking to the other baristas. But regardless, the frappes were pretty good, I would recommend the double chocolate frappe and the basic vanilla bean. Once I went to pick up a Starbucks after school and the barista seemed to only be there for her paycheck and dragged her job. I forgot to ask for a name but I remember her face vaguely. Since Starbucks is usually a treat for me it didn't matter much to me though. This Starbucks is inside Kroger and had a slow line. I wish there was a drive-thru instead for on the go and a bit more cheerful baristas. Overall, a okay Starbucks. read more

Amazing customer service, I felt pretty embarrassed asking the barista how I could get a latte that wouldn't ruin my workout. She made me feel so comfortable said she gets that question all the time made me a 90 calorie skinny latte and it was delicious I use the app sometimes to order before I get that easy to see their menu and pay. Also very easy to load gift cards onto app and pay with phone so I don't have to keep with all the gift cards I got for Christmas. Trying to save money get their coffee of the days it's priced low and taste wonderful! read more

I as well as another customer approached the counter to place an order as the employees were not in their work area. One was to the side replacing trash liners as the other sat at a table on her phone chatting with a buddy. One leaned her head in and said we will be with you in a few minutes as the other continued on her phone. After patiently waiting a few minutes they decided to come take our order. Here's the part that concerns me - neither washed their hands in the sink with soap and water, nor did they wear gloves! Fortunately for us, the "barista" that made our drinks was not replacing the trash liners - not sure this makes me feel any better. The drinks were okay, so they get two stars. read more
