This has been my go-to every morning Starbucks for the last 3 months. I order a London fog tea latte with a extra pump of vanilla usually in a grande but sometimes in a venti (larger size). The baristas are always so quick and friendly. I always use the drive through, any time there is a line the employees get through the orders quickly and accurately. For food, the bacon egg bites and banana bread are my favorites. Their protein boxes are something to look into for a lunch option. Otherwise their grilled cheese is great too! I've only been inside to order a couple of times and the service is just as good as the drive through. Very clean and quiet place to stop by any time during the day. read more

I have been coming to this location for a long time and always had good service but the experience I had today broke my heart. I ordered a venti iced drink through drive thru. They gave me a grande hot drink. I politely informed them of the mistake. They rolled their eyes at me, told a couple of their coworkers who also rolled their eyes at me. They remade it but still didn't give me the iced drink that I asked for. So I got abused and still didn't get the drink I asked for. Do better guys. read more

Absolutely the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Poor service poor service poor service slow service slow service slow service I just don't understand how orders come in and they can't complete one person's order and then that person can take their order and they can go. It's not like that it's so chaotic and you have to wait for your items whether they be a drink a glass of water a microwavable prepackaged disgusting food that they offer. Absolutely no organization and it's very clear that the staff do not care about their customers whatsoever. Service there is great, works with claiming stars and mobile ordering! The bagels there were so good! Great place to study with 2 bathrooms and great tables with usb outlets! Great staff, very kind! The drinks are good, and they are much cheaper then their competitors. They have good quality, and my mother had made friends with many of the workers, they are all really kind and they give my mom free drinks with every coffee she orders! I definitely recommend. It has tables and seats to sit down and chill while you wait for your order, and you don't have to wait in a line the entire time. You can walk away, go shopping and do what you want while you wait for your drinks. Thanks starbucks!! read more

So there are places that are behind the times. We have all experienced them. They are the ones that aren't quite up with the newest and latest and greatest. That is the best way to explain this starbucks. I will frequent this starbucks and it never surprises me when you order something and the barista gives you a look like "oh i'm not sure what that is"...yet you go to another store and not a problem its a norm. Just don't go out of the norm for these guys and it will be fine, once you get customizing there may be confusion. The service is mediocre. Some are great, some are not great. But its your normal starbucks experience. read more

Seems it's something that it's ni mandatory but touching my cup at the place where I will be putting my mouth is SAD. I've visited this Starbucks a few times now for my caffeine fix, and they have yet to disappoint. I am a sucker for holiday ciders, hot cocoas and lattes, but I don't want to blindly sip down 400 calories...so I love that (like most Starbucks) they have the calorie count listed on the board for their holiday drinks (and they always have the info readily available for their regular menu items). They have quite a few custom options, if you ask. For diabetics or calorie-conscious caffeine addicts, they have about 10 different sugar-free syrups (including peppermint for the holidays), so you don't have to miss out on your favorite flavors just because you want a drink sans sugar. Yesterday I tried the gingerbread latte (which was delicious btw), but my BF prefers a warm chai latte to its caffeinated counterparts--he also knows there's tons of sugar in the concentrate they use to make their chai (and he's been trying to watch his waistline). So, I asked them if there was any way to make it sugar-free. Although not the same, they were able to whip up something similar that did the trick--By steeping a chai teabag, mixing it 50/50 with steamed milk infused with cinnamon & nutmeg, and finally adding sugar-free sweetener, they created a sugar-free chai tea latte :) They really aim to please at this Starbucks, which is why I will continue to stop here whenever I'm in town. read more

My coworkers had been talking about this small coffee shop that opened up near our office and they were raving about how the coffee was so good ta the place should offer franchises and open up all over the place. Shortly after their ranting and raving I had the good fortune of winning a gift card for $50 to this coffee shop and I thought, this is going to last me forever, I don't even like coffee that much. Today I made the decision to go and try it out for myself. Strange names for the sizes of their drinks, things like venti and trenta, clever marketing on their part I suppose. I went with a grande mocha and it was delightful! I noticed that a good chunk of my gift card was gone after I ordered however and I don't think it is going to last as long as I was expecting. Hopefully more of these places pop up in other locations that are convenient to my life on non work days! read more

The Cottage Grove Starbucks makes a decent coffee drink, which is normally served with a smile. I've run into the occasional case of the incorrect drink being provided; however this is usually corrected when pointed out. They seem to have problems with drinks that are available with and without coffee, usually my daughter's white hot chocolate with peppermint, ends up being a white mocha with peppermint... Not a super warm and inviting place to sit and chat; however a good place to stop and get coffee to go. read more

This Starbucks recently got remodeled. Previously, there were not enough power outlets for students or business employees to charge their phones or laptops. Now there is at least one outlet available at each table, and even USB ports located at the bench seating area to charge phones and tablets. Overall atmosphere is brighter, cleaner and more inviting. Same great service even before the remodel. They get my order correct every time. Baristas are friendly. read more

Lines are long. Management is rude and pushes their political affiliation on you when stopping for a coffee not a political debate.

To be fair, I've only been to this location once, but it was some of the worst customer service I've experienced. My wife and I stopped in to grab a quick sandwich and coffee. There was about 7-9 employees behind the counter. Not one of them got off their butts to acknowledge us, ask if we've been helped, or anything. WE WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMERS AT THE COUNTER. I even connected eye with more than one employee and they didnt get around to serving us for a solid 5 minutes. When we were finally served they were slow, rude, and came off entitled like they were too good to be there or something. When giving us our order there was no "thank you" or "Have a nice day" nothing. Never again. read more

I love Starbucks, but this is the worst one I visited, and this isn't based on one experience! One, they are always talking amongst themselves, never greet as you enter and often times don't exchange in small talk or eye contact at the hand off plane! Once at the drive thru, I said my order slower since they had yet to get it right four times prior, and I was met with a sassy and even slower repeat of the order in a very mocking way! Plus they are rude to each other, when they aren't talking to you and your waiting a few minutes for your drink you cant help but listen in... I am a very loyal Starbucks customer, and was a barista for many years. When I place an order with specialty things added, there is a reason. Unfortunately, this Starbucks completely forgot my shot of espresso today- which completely changed the taste of my drink. I used to be in the habit of trying things before I left however this time I did not. By the time I tasted it I was too far gone to turn around. I walked in and the the Red-headed female assistant manager (didn't catch her name) was yelling at her peer employees and storming off, telling them"you've only been here 2 weeks, keep your mouth shut, I have worked here 6 years and am one of the best baristas!" and "Starbucks sets the standards for quality and customer service so just shut-up and take your orders." Several problems here, first off if you have been a barista 6 years, and still work at an over-produced, old and burnt beans, zero latte-art training store (like a Starbucks in the suburbs) you aren't a good barista at all. Second, there is someone who appears to have serious control and anger issues and the interactions I witnessed do not produce a good working environment for people that were still learning or for customers. The only thing I would recommend getting here is cold brew cause it can get you out of the store quickly and it's hard to mess up. The only reason I did't walk out of the store, was because I had a gift-card and was just driving through because I needed the caffeine for the drive. read more

As much as I love Starbucks, I really hate coming to this one. It seems that no matter if they're busy or not, 85% of the time they mess up my drink order. You'd think that asking for no whipped cream would be easy compared to what other people order, right? Apparently not.
