However, my review is solely based on the little speakeasy coffee shop on the back! Barista is probably one of the best we've ever had. He really took his drinks seriously. My sister wanted something floral and he gave a wonderful substitution. I ordered the White Rabbit and he asked how the level of sweetness was for me. It was absolutely perfect. Cozy little dimly lit back rooms with an eclectic selection of decor. We will be frequenting this place from now on!

I mentioned I had never had it made this way before and was then told I was being rude. When the manager/owner came to speak with me, who is also her mother-in-law, I explained what happened and was told that if I wanted it topped off, I would need to pay extra for more milk. She quickly escalated the situation unnecessarily. There was no sense of courtesy or professionalism. I remaining calm and respectful the entire time and simply requested a refund. I was there with my children and friends, and after the refund was issued, I promptly walked out with my kids. I was unaware that she was following behind us "escorting" us out. When we were outside the door, my friend asked why she felt the need to escort us out. She clapped her hands and said, "I gave you a refund, now leave." I was honestly flabbergasted. I have never experienced anything like this before. The lack of professionalism and courtesy was completely mind blowing.

It's a small, cozy spot with a very homey feel. Nothing fancy, just comfortable and welcoming. I asked the barista for a recommendation and she suggested the Funky Monkey, a mix of peanut butter, chocolate, banana, and espresso. It was good. Not the best iced coffee I've ever had, but solid and satisfying after being out in the sun all day. Honestly, the beautiful weather made it taste even better. Would I go back? Probably but mainly if I'm in the area again for a tournament at Eagle Glen. It's a convenient, chill stop when you need a post game caffeine boost.

First thing I notice when I take a sip is my drink is peppermint. My husband said no to the Christmas version of my drink. He asked if I wanted to go in. I said no. We had already waitrd 40 minutes and had a baby with us who needed a diaper chance, along with needing to hit the grocery store near by. We leave and go to a nearby grocery store. We get baby out of the car, get shopping cart and my husband picks up a drink and the lid wasnt on all the way. I immediately said we needed to go back and tell them about the peppermint and the lid! But baby needed her butt cleaned. So I went into grocery store, changed her diaper. Went back to car, loaded her up and went back while husband shopped. I got there and asked the nice young lady at the counter if I could have a remake of the one with the lid not on right. But totally get if its no. She said let me ask my boss. Boss came out and immediately asked for name on order I said it and started explaining what happened and went to say but I get if not. She immediately went 'Its been an hour!" I told her it took 40 minutes to get 2 drinks with no one in front of us! I had to reload baby up etc. She started saying we needed to come in right away etc. But we did as fast as we could. Wouldn't even let me get a word in about just paying for another drink. Lecturing me on how the lids fit tightly... its why I came back. Its why I pointed out the peppermint. Mistakes happened. I didnt care, was even going to buy replacement. Instead the boss went around telling other customers how I came back an hour later.. Next time just politely say no, its been too long. I wasn't even going to argue about it.

The store is very clean and if you pay attention to the floor, you will see how the lines work for ordering and checking out. My son and I went to pick up a few Italian ingredients and get a late lunch. The place is clean and reminds me of the NY Italian stores, because they have people slicing cold cuts, making sandwiches, serving hot meals, and bagging pastries. The store has all sorts of ingredients for your Italian dishes and the freezers have ready made dishes waiting to go into your oven for a quick meal. We took a few things from the freezer and ordered sandwiches and some lunch items. The food was really good and I will return, but with a longer shopping list because it is a little out of my way. I forgot to get pictures, but will get them on my next trip.

Ended up walking out with over a pound of assorted cookies and a dozen cannoli's. They were definitely unique - the cannoli's were freshly made and delicious. Some of the cookies were better than others but overall great. A bit on the pricey side for $18/lb for cookies and around $5 a pop for the large cannoli's. Total cost me just about $100. The staff was so friendly. I told the lady at the bakery section that I was needing about a dozen cannoli's to use as a filling for my wife's birthday cake. And she very quickly asked another staff member in the back to make them fresh. They were ready in just about 5 minutes! While waiting for my order, I browsed the shop and found so much specialty foods. An entire fridge in the back of the shop was filled with various pastas and ready to cook items. Aisles were filled with everything from breads, cooking oils, seasonings, sweets, cheese, wines, etc and etc. The sandwich and deli section filled the front of the house. And they managed to squeeze in a gelato section too. Very nicely designed with undeniable italian feel to it. I will definitely have to come back to try some other items.

So, on a whim and the fact that we were already nearby, we went. First of all, Tom's Farm has matured delightfully over the years. The two places to eat offer seating outdoors, on the patio and decking, with large, gracious trees, pretty landscaping, and in full view of a centrally located, charming pond with happy ducks. It is a cute spot that is quite kid-friendly. Weekends there can be frantic, but we came on a weekday, early in the evening, and found it nearly empty. The pizzas here are practically mind boggling. We started with a basic, medium sized cheese pizza for the two of us, then added 3 toppings: sausage, pepperoni, and fresh mushrooms. Since I ordered it over the phone, there was little wait once we arrived. What I was unprepared for was the actual size. This medium pizza dwarfed most medium pizzas I have seen in the past. It was 16" in diameter, and the toppings overflowed on top. There was so much, it was nearly impossible to pick up a slice without lots of topping tumbling back into the box. Such a problem! And the toppings were really good, the sausage in particular getting an enthusiastic 2 thumbs up. I am so picky. Great weather, adorable ambiance, great food, and a cheerful lady at the order window made for a memorable experience. And oh boy, leftovers!
