I was greeted right away. It was very clean inside. I came with my family, and we had a pretty big order. The barista, I think her name was Ashley, was very sweet and took her time to go over the different teas with my mom. The service was very quick. We ordered multiple sandwiches, drinks, and loaves. My order was a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich with a lemon loaf and the Butterfly Lemonade! The Butterfly Lemonade refresher was sooo good! I will come back for another! I loved the cute butterfly and the message that was written on my cup. The sandwich was hot and tasty, and the lemon loaf always hits the spot! My family had no complaints as well! Great location! read more

I order the same caramel macchiato dang near everyday and everyday it's a different temperature with a different taste. It either has too much caramel, vanilla or not enough coffee/espresso in it . Isn't there a standard to make each cup because they're definitely not using it. You order coffee and get mystery liquid instead. I'll just go to hard scrabble‼ read more

I stopped at this Starbucks on the road to a business meeting. It was similar to most Starbucks locations...good food/drinks, clean, modern and great place to meet and/or work. It is located not too far off the highway which is very convenient. Normally, I don't have an issue with any Starbucks. The staff at this and any other location is super friendly and they try to assist in any way possible to make your experience great. For a quick bite to eat, I normally get a protein box as shown and a cup of tea. On this day, however, after getting in the car and driving off, the eggs in the protein box looked very unappealing. I was so disappointed and even when I hesitantly tried to eat them, they were inedible. Very upset and hungry. I put in a claim to Starbucks' customer service and after sending a picture of the box, they refunded me for my entire purchase. The reason why I am giving 4 stars on this review is because even though Starbucks can't see every product that goes into their stores, they definitely work to fix any customer issues as quickly as possible. They have a great reputation and desire to uphold it. That's quality customer service! For this reason, I still go to Starbucks often and that most likely won't change anytime soon! read more

Starbucks - Protein Box - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Columbia, South Carolina

23 minute wait! I only ordered a drink. Bathrooms are dirty. No sense of urgency. read more

Terrible. I waited 20 mins only to walk out with no drinks. When I asked for a refund because of the wait, the cashier told me their were still 3 drinks ahead of me. I'm not sure if it's because their short staff or the extra workers just don't know how to make drinks but something is wrong. read more

Stopped in here before taking a road trip. Four drinks...that was all we needed. FOUR DRINKS! The cashier was new and this was obvious. The person in line in front of us had two bags of beans he wanted ground up and then two drink orders. We couldn't hear everything but it appeared he was supposed to have some type of discount that he didn't get. The cashier asked another guy who was making drinks. He came to help on his order and went back to making drinks. I think he was handling drive thru drinks and inside drinks. Now here is where things get a little crazy. We literally stood in line for 20 minutes to place our orders and another 15 minutes for FOUR DRINKS! While I understand you are making drinks, everyone can't be assisted and someone has to wait....I guess that was us on the inside. It was the absolute slowest service I've ever encountered. I would've thought that he could've stopped making drinks to atleast take an order or two, but nope! So not only did we wait forever to order, but almost just as long for our drinks. Sad! This is a newer location that was near the on ramp. I won't be back! read more

The Starbucks on Killian Road near Kroger is always understaffed. It's always nasty and the workers are always rude. They have a bell that you're supposed to tap if in case you're satisfied with your service I never ring it it's terrible. . read more

The worst Starbucks to go to when you're on the way to work! It took 20-25mins for a PLAIN CUP OF COFFEE. Just a simple black brewed coffee. You would be better off making a pot at home. They are super slow and the system of how they do the orders aren't efficient. Someone needs to reevaluate the process. read more

Went through the Drive-Thru, ordered a Frappe. Got to the window and it literally had No whipped cream on it, not even Garnish. Kinda disappointed. read more

The reviews for this place are very misleading. I would give 6 to counteract if I could. The baristas were very competent and extraordinarily nice and patient with me. Drink was made to perfection and made promptly even though it was busy. Management must have read the reviews and done a complete overhaul. Dion at the register needs a raise! read more

Starbucks - Happy customers - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Columbia, South Carolina

Poor customer service in a freaking drive thru. I ordered a drink and got a second drink. I, then, decided to do a kind deed and paid for the person behind me. The barista tried to convince me that I was doing an unjust act in trying to pay for someone elses coffee. I won't be back to a store with a management team that promotes profit margins over positive morals and proper professional development of their team. Fitz read more

Waited for 17 mins on my 2 drinks, after getting the drinks one is straight milk which was suppose to be a latte. Also, ordered a Bacon and Gouda sandwich, we just "ran" out so I am forced to get the only "2" options they have in stock. Overall poor service all around. read more

I really had no idea a Starbucks could be ran so poorly. They were out of 50% of the products. I stood there and waited for 20 minutes for a cake pop and the Gouda bacon sandwich. They said something about the food sticker machine being broken?? I didn't order a drink but while I was standing there I watched four people returned dissatisfied with their drinks and asked for them to be remade or items (that were supposed to be there) added. It was a complete show. There was a sign saying that they were hiring barista so maybe the one working today was in over their head ... but things were not going well for anyone. The drive-through line was very very long so I can't imagine being on the other end of that and not getting what you ordered. read more

The worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Sat in the drive thru for almost 40 min for a sandwich and a water. The one on Two Notch is much better. I won't be returning to this location. read more

Well, like everyone else, wish I would have read the reviews because it all makes sense. I came into the drive through around 745am on a Friday. I noticed that several cars in front of me ended up leaving without getting an order. I figured they were just being impatient. Once I arrived at the drive through menu I waited for 10 minutes with no assistance. I noticed that the screen was flickering which made me think that maybe there was a technology glitch affecting the service. I drove up to the window and waited an additional 10-12 minutes. I saw several employees working inside so I just figured they were swamped and I remained patient. Finally, someone comes to the window and tells me they had to open late today. Okay, no issue, things happen. But now, I'm being told I cannot place an order at the window, despite having been in the drive through for 20+ minutes, and that I have to exit the line and re-enter since they just opened. There are now 15+ cars in line. Let me tell you - I will never support this Starbucks again. The absolute lack of customer service I witnessed today is unacceptable and I wish I would have paid attention to the reviews before wasting my morning. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

Ehhh... Glad the staff gets along but there is wayyy too much socializing going on behind the counter. It is incredibly unprofessional. The coffee is weak and almost every time I've gone in they have been out of something. When I ask for skim milk or something added to my drink the manager had a very poor attitude. Just all around an uncomfortable experience. Poor customer service, poor upkeep with menu items, poor professionalism and poor skill set. Oh.. and the bathroom has been disgusting every time I've used it! Just gross! No toilet paper.. no paper towels.. trash on the floor. Just yuck. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Horribly slow service, the person who rung us up was not helpful at all in answering questions, and everyone working there seems so incredibly stressed and overworked. One girl behind the counter was working her tail off and seemed very friendly, but she really needs some competent help!! read more

The baristas are so nice! However, almost every time I come in, they have to remake my drink (a drink off the menu, with no modifications). I believe they're training new baristas, but it's definitely disappointing. read more

News Alert: Starbucks is not Autism Friendly. Starbucks in Columbia, SC kicked out my dear friend's non verbal son with Autism today. They stopped in from a long trip to buy coffees and he needed to use the restroom - this Karen, who worked there denied their son the restroom b/c he is unable to tolerate a mask. It was clear to her he was disabled and she did not care. The store was empty and the Karen was wearing a mask behind plexiglass. This is a huge discrimination issue against a disabled human who in this case happened to be non verbal w/ autism. Unacceptable. Please share this story far and wide. It is up to us to put an end to discrimination. They need to do better. read more

Horrible service. All servers were extremely chaotic, there was no organization and a woman was holding my drink with no lid walking around and taking another persons order-very unsanitary! Worst starbucks experience. read more

Typical Starbucks, BUT their hours are so unpredictable. I can show up on a random Tuesday at 10am and they will be closed?

After waiting 20 mins in line and clarifying my order at the window twice - my food was not up to par at all. My sandwich wasn't warm and had one piece of turkey bacon on it - oh & the egg that I didn't ask for. What a nice $5 sandwich. What topped it off was the cashier didn't even apologize for the wait or confusion. I think this was my last time at Starbucks for awhile.... read more

If I could give no stars I would. The slowest Starbucks EVER!!! They had no line inside so the drive thru should not have been long as hell

They are always friendly.. busy yes but get through quickly. AND my drink is always great!!

Worst Starbucks ever!!! The line takes FOREVER. Even if you mobile order and get in the drive thru, prepare to wait at least 40 minutes before you get to the window to get your order. Ridiculous!!! read more

The reason I give this place a 5 star is because of Heather! Every time I visit this location (which is almost everyday) Heather greets me and remembers my order! She's a great asset to the company! Best one at the drive thru! read more

Amazing service asked for a cookie and creme frappe the other night they didn't have the crumbles which is the whole reason I get the drink. Normally that would ruin the experience but the worker on the bar heavyset white guy. Gave me a few other options including some of his favorites and described the drinks to me. We ended up going with the caramel crunch. It was delicious most places wouldn't go that extra mile with their commitment to service. Thank you read more

Wow I wish I read the reviews before I went here!!! Ordered two drinks!! Two less than the other person with bad service experience. I asked for a cinnamon dulce Frap and a tea. 15 mins later I am handed a vanilla bean frap and no tea. I asked DAN if my drink was almost ready he said yeah their making it and they are backed up because one of their machines was down which I completely understand. Another 10 minutes standing there so I ask again. "I'm sorry must've lost the ticket I'll make it now." Then Dan comes back to the register and says you never paid for your drink I'll ring you up here and I was like what are you talking about I told the girl standing right next to you right my order and she said she confirmed it as she's staring off into space. I said you should've checked that the moment but you couldn't find the ticket and I've been standing here for 15 minutes but you waited an additional 10 minutes to even check if it was rung up...I'm not even upset about the miscommunication it was the way the entire situation was handled and I'm happy to pay for my drink I just think that it shouldn't take 30 minutes for them to realize that the girl didn't ring my order in correctly at all. I told Dan that that is why I was upset and he said well your drink is right there made so you can take it so then I go to take my drink and he goes no you need to pay for it and I was like I have my credit card out right in front of you to pay for it. I really hope that the managers of the Starbucks read this and talk to your team about how to treat your customers. It's laughable because I was about to go to Starbucks in the Kroger's and decided to come to this one because I thought it would be better service and now I'm laughing because I bet it would've been 10,000 times better of an experience to go into the grocery store. read more

A lot of confusion and not able to cope with a line. Also, as polite and professional as Sarah was, when making a Pour Over the water needs to be fairly constant and not every few minutes. Probably managemnet's fault for expecting the person at the register too run both areas. read more

Only because I had to give one star. Just expect to be in line for at least thirty minutes even if there are three cars ahead of you. Also don't ever expect them to get the order correct. read more

Abhorently slow, poor quality. Understaffed and Staff seemed sad. Could not have imagined a worse waste of 25 minutes. Inexcusable and despicable purely because of the absolutely dragging pace of the workers who I am sympathetic towards. I wish I could gv zero stars that should be a real option. This Starbucks is BY FAR THE WORST! EVERY SINGLE time we go there our drinks taste like trash it's just horrible. Not once has it been good and I love Starbucks I've been drinking it for over 10 years. Recently had the iced cloud joint and I didn't know how amazing it really was until I got another one from a whole other location.
