This location has a drive-thru. And it's located in the shared parking lots of the Staples and the Safeway. This is a nice Starbucks location in midtown in Coeur d'Alene. As I said there is a drive-through at this location, there's also a good indoor area for seating and a good outdoor patio area for nice weather. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. The drive-thru line moves quickly usually. We've never had any issues with the coffee, or the service at this location. The only thing that brings this review down to four stars for me, is how expensive it is. Coffee shouldn't be this expensive. read more

Ordered a drink just now, the lady didn't acknowledge until one drink was done (INCORRECTLY I must say) No vanilla or brown sugar in it, just basic. I order this all the time and it never taste like straight matcha. If I wanted that, I would have ordered straight matcha. read more

The employees at this specific location's method of approaching the customers who come inside are often brusque in tone and annoyed when asking them to do anything within their job description (at least with me). Every time I have come into this Starbucks I have personally been treated like my order(s) are a chore and my desire to be respectfully treated with equality amongst the other customers is too much to ask. Overall, the bathrooms are consistently unclean and the tables and floors are sticky and crumb-filled. I remain disappointed and seek that the employees are met with re-training in how to provide superior customer service (all the way through) not only for drive-thru customers but, for mobile and in-person customers alike. I have very rarely received a good drink from here it is usually very dull and unsweetened in flavor but the one that turned out good was really good. But it's usually a hit or miss on how well the drink turns out and usually it is pretty yuck. The building itself inside and outside is is aesthetically pleasing! I don't live in the area but, this is conveniently located (it can be tough to get into and out of the parking lot) when I visit relatives. it's a smaller café and can be quite loud inside. service has been quick and the drinks are very much what you expect them to be (quite tasty). read more

It is nice that they allow walk ins still due COVID The drive thru was/ is full most of the time I stop by. I got in go my drink of drip coffee and my gf's Mixed drink . The place was clean with limited seating , I didn't see any lights out . The outside looked about average not too clean and just the right amount of garbage in the cans. I'm a big SB goer and my usual rating for the chain is 4 stars but this location seems to be a cut above the average shop. For starters they have incredibly fast service. I us the SB app to order when I park my car and my drink is usually ready by the time I walk in the door. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. Second, they have plenty of seating and quite a variety therein. They have a bar, a patio section, high-tops, tables and cushioned seats. There is also plenty of parking and a drive-thru to boot. I went in again yesterday due to my great experience a few days ago & the girls working (I wish I could remember their names) were so sweet, knocked the customer service out of the water!! It's my birthday. I went to collect my free drink. I ordered a latte, but added egg bites, which cost $1 more than the latte. They gave me the egg bites for free. When I picked up the bag with the egg bites, I picked it up from the bottom and they fell on the floor. My fault. My ex-FIL once said that while Starbucks doesn't have the best coffee (i'll agree) you know that no matter WHERE you go in the world, Starbucks will taste like Starbucks so it spares you from an even more unpleasant surprise. He's military, so he's tried Starbucks overseas and it's all the same. This is good. I can go anywhere and know what to expect, which is coffee that is good enough to satisfy. This is the starbucks closest to me, so that makes it a commonly hit spot when I want coffee and don't want to drive to what used to be my favorite coffee stand. About this Starbucks? There are two guys who work here with rocking beards. This is coming from someone who doesn't really like facial hair, still, these two rock and rock their beards. Go figure. They also happen to be my FAVORITE Starbucks people E.V.E.R! I'm starting to think that guys should be the face of customer service more often, after meeting these two. Had I been on yelp the one time I experienced a rather rude lady that worked behind the counter, this one would have been rated poorly. These guys save my opinion of this location though, they also make it the only Starbucks in the area I am comfortable to go IN TO instead of just driving to one with a drive-thru so I don't have to deal with as much in snotty attitudes and crowds. Ive been with Starbucks for 2 years as a barista visiting the area and happened to stop by this store. I was surprised with how nice everyone is! Especially the store manager- who even took the time to step away to help with a problem my OWN store manager never took the time to sit down and help me with. She was super helpful and kind. AVOID this Starbuck's as soon as you see the employee with the gross, long beard. You'll know him as soon as you see him. He also seems to have trouble opening the drive thru on time in the mornings: my experience this morning. T'was the case this today, again. At 3 past 5, I pulled forward to the window, as he still hadn't activated the drive through electronic menu screen. I pulled up to the window and he ignored me, while, get this, drinking his own brewed coffee. All it would take is a friendly bit of customer service for the employee to apologize for being behind schedule, but no. This gentleman has been rude to us for the last time. NOT returning.
