I genuinely love this Starbucks. Out of all the locations I've visited, this one always stands out because of its atmosphere and the amazing team. Whenever I'm driving from San Francisco to Los Angeles, I make it a point to stop here for breakfast. It's become a tradition, and one of the parts of the trip I look forward to the most. What really makes this place special is the staff. Even at 5 or 6 in the morning, when you're still half asleep, they always greet you with genuine smiles and positive energy. That kind of hospitality can completely change the start of your day. Thank you to the entire team for consistently creating such a welcoming atmosphere. Food and drinks out in less than 5 minutes, this may be due to location or volume in this store but still, great efficiency! Ambiance is very much aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The way the sun hits the interior works well with how everything is set up. The interior colors are warm and cozy. Nice layout and spacing of the furnitures. This place is difficult to see from the street. There are trees hiding the sign which is kinda low to the ground. lol. This was a different style of Starbucks. Looks like it used to be an old restaurant. It is huge!!! Kinda updated on the outside. Bathroom was huge too. Looks pretty clean. The order taker Ruthy was very friendly. 4 stars for ambiance and ample space to rest or stretch. First off, yes, it's busy, but the bathrooms here are clean and there's more than one. There is plenty of space to walk around and stretch your legs. If you want to sit down, you can bring your charger and charge your phone. They have outlets in every corner of the room. The line is long and we had to wait a few minutes for our order but we didn't mind. The employees were NOT "Starbucks friendly people" and they aren't wearing black either, but maybe because this is a quick stop for most people. read more

I ordered a simple drink, super easy to make, and there were barely any customers. I got a carmel macchiato with lavender foam and the barista gave me the macchiato with no cold foam that she charged me for. I asked her for the cold foam and she took it back in a rude way. She poured all the espresso and ice off the top and put the soupy cold foam on top of the remaining milk of the macchiato. I asked her to remake it after trying the poorly made drink. Then she remade it and put no CARMEL in the CARMEL macchiato. This is a really great Starbucks! It's right off of 5 and next to an Arco, so you have all your bases covered. There are plenty of stalls in the bathroom, and it's clean and well stocked! The Starbucks itself is huge with lots of seating. They get through the line fairly quickly, and our food and drinks came out in a timely manner. Literally an oasis in the desert. No really, there's no metaphorical embellishment here: Coalinga needs more mainstream food and beverage establishments and this Starbucks is a very welcome addition. Previously, to get decent coffee one would have to trek to "downtown" Coalinga proper. Now, that's changed for passersby. Its location is strategic and about time; right off the i5 about halfway between SF and LA. It's near Harris Ranch which, like it or not, has EV charging stations galore (just don't buy gas near the 198 and i5 it's pricier than you'd imagine). Aside from quenching the thirst of a much needed coffee drinker, Starbucks here on Dorris in Coalinga is notch above most others I have been to. This could be because it's newer and spacious inside--I'll be frequently visiting since I stay at Harris Ranch often. It's very clean. Bathrooms were clean and larger. The staff were friendly and drinks were within expectations. I really hope other businesses figure out this is a great spot to set up shop. read more

Great location just off the freeway by gas stations. It's own stand-alone building, there is a drive-thru and lots of parking lot. The restroom was clean considering the crush of holiday commuters stopping here. Everyone was in good spirits. Ordered a iced green tea (my usual) and a hot white chocolate (warm and yummy). Bad communication and bad services. I ordered a green tea latte with matcha foam on top through mobile. It's under my name Chan. Estimated time 7:54am. So the worker made my drink and called my name before the estimate time. But when I was about to grab my drink there was a guy took drink because the worker accidentally put his name on my drink and he left. So I informed one of the worker that " I'm here for mobile pick up under Chan". And there another girl was like ugh only a minute over. I was trying to argue I was just informing them because I heard they called my name. A few minutes later the guy came back in with a green tea matcha latte with matcha foam on top which was that supposed to be my drink. Dec. 26th is quite possibly the craziest day to be on the 5. Starbucks was absolutely slammed and yet all the employees were kind and courteous. The mobile app informed me my food would take 30 min to prepare which was surprising to say the least. It wasn't for lack of hard work and trying at this Starbucks. These employees deserved double pay for today. Extra shout out to Alex who helped remedy our missing drinks by quickly getting them out once I let him know. This Starbucks is huge. It's along 5, so depending on the day you stop in it might be packed (it was when I stopped by). Bathrooms were fairly clean and there was ample seating. I didn't realize prices have gone up so much though! My tall chai w/ oat milk and a bliss bar were $8+. Inflation is kicking our butts, but obviously not specific to this location. read more
